[Update...Update...Update Now! Hooooooooooooooo!]
Claude and Alex find that, conveniently placed across the street from the dating agency, is a strip mall. There's a chinese restaurant, a thrift clothing store, a nondenominational burger chain, and a little shop set to the side in the parking lot that sells frozen custard and scones. Of less interest is the hobby store, a small sporting goods store, and the supermarket off a little ways down the sidewalk.
Nova finds the one girl who hadn't run off waiting around a corner. "Yes? Are you ready to take a seat in the lounge? I'm sure you two would be more comfortable discussing things there."
[What other pop culture references can I make with the word change....Hmmm. Oh, I know! How about-]

Where before Jake's face had softened just a bit, now every inch is pure and gentle curves. His cheeks are soft and full, much like his lips which will never need lipstick to look full or pink or appealing. His nose is perfect and small, but not too small. His chin is soft and round, giving his whole face a soft circular shape. Even his ears, partly covered by the magnificent blue hair, seem to be in the perfect place and the perfect size to be as beautiful as possible. One may find a certain amount of cuteness in this face, but it is buried deep beneath an exquisite, mature and flawless beauty. And speaking of beauty, Jake realizes that his own beauty filled with curves and suppleness is not that which he craves. He wants firm, muscular beauty. He wants a man. With this realization comes a sharp wit and a silver tongue to match that golden voice. He has the kind of mind that could talk it's way out of a pit filled with rabid badgers, and end up the richer for it.
