J.D. nods, smiling a bit. "Alright then, but, still do you think we need to start getting a new name for you? I don't think Darlene would be all that great of a name for you."

"I don't...think that will be necessary...though, I agree on the second point..."

J.D. nods a bit. "Alright. Just trying to look ahead. Hmm...what would be a better name for you?" J.D. purposefully thinks out loud, grinning.

/Darius's lips go slightly thin./

"Hey now, don't get touchy. You'll thank me later, anyways." J.D. says, still grinning a bit.

"...And? What name would you choose for them then, hmm?"

Valerie grimaces at the receptionist's poor attempt at a joke. That girl is still as strange as ever....

"For your information, I was just trying to save this guy from going through the same crap I did!"

"Hmm...well, we could go for a Danielle, or Dani, for short..." J.D. says.

/Darius tilts his head slightly to the side./

"'We'?"

J.D. coughs a bit at the slip-up. "Err...you know you look real cute tilting your head like that." He says, trying to change the subject away from that for the moment.

/His face, just having returned to its normal hue, now goes scarlet again./

"What...? What do you mean by that?!"

"Nothing...nothing at all." J.D. says, smiling, as he looks at Darius' reaction.
