/Shifting nervously in her seat, she stares at the floor./

"...oh..."


/Her voice is soft, and nervous, and a bit sad./

Catching a bit of the tone in her voice, J.D. looks over at Danielle, a bit concerned. "I-is something wrong?"

/Danielle shakes her head a little too quickly./

"Oh, no--no-nothing!"

[Marky]

J.D. looks at Danielle, not really believing her. "A-are you sure?"

[Alissa of Someday]

/Danielle looks back at him, for a split-second, her eyes meeting his, before her gaze again shies away, looking back towards her boots../

"O-of course..."

[Marky]

J.D. looks away a bit. "Alright then."

Joshua arrived at the building in his old pickup, a small sigh escaping his lips as he squinted up at the building. "Must be the place..." he simply mumbled as he exited the car, sticking his lone arm inside its pocket as he walked towards the building. "Alright..." he continued in a low voice to presumably no-one, "Can't mess this up this time... it's either finally ending this empty time... or $100... Could care less 'bout the money really..." He sighed as he opened the door, leaning against it as he did so out of habit. He gave the various furnishings of the building a bit of a shamed look as he approached the receptionist, unconsciously scratching at the tip of his stump before addressing the receptionist. "Excuse me... I'm here for the Sure-fire cupid program..."

/Silence.

Danielle looks off pointedly at the wall for a moment, and then back down, shifting uncomfortably in her seat, before sneaking a glance back up at the man besides her./

"Well...then, though..."

/Her soft voice trails off into a mumble, and she looks down quickly./

[Marky]

J.D. looks back over at Danielle. "Huh?"

/She reddens slightly./

"I...I said...could I maybe...Er.. gooutwithyou?"

[Marky]

J.D. pauses for a moment, not getting all of that last part. "Umm...could you say that last bit again?"

[Alissa of Someday]

/She reddens, clearly flustered./

"Well...I was just--I meant to say...Uh...do you want to...go and have some coffee or something?"

[Marky]

J.D. looks just a bit disappointed, at first, until a small smile seems to form on his face. "Sure. Where do you want to go to?"
