Circe's Manor

[AmbushCat]

*Over at where the Shadow Gang is hiding near the bedrooms, the three of them whisper to themselves. Sniggering, the ghost-types go one way while the Umbreon goes the other.*

[Circe]

The one man, who appears to be the leader of the group speaks up. "Yes." One of the others pulls out a picture and shows it to the maid. as the leader asks. "Has this boy been pass here? Or is he here? He is our boss's son. He ran away from us, it is important that we find him."

If I may ask, who is your boss?

[Kumi-chan]

The man shakes his head. "Ma'am, we know he is here. I suggest you let us speak to your master. Our boss would like his son returned right away."

[Circe]

And my mistress would like you to know why that boy was half-dead when we found him.

[Kumi-chan]

"How could we know that? Perhaps he got hurt when we lost track of him." The man answers the maid.

[Circe]

And why was he so scared of you, hm?

[Kumi-chan]

The men talk for a bit to each other. The one speaks up again. "Because he is never allowed to go anywhere without his body guards. He probably ran so he could be alone."

[Circe]

Sure he did...

[Kumi-chan]

"Ma'am just let us in to see him." The man replies as one heads back to the vehicle. "It is important that we do."

[Circe]

I'll have to speak to Miss Circe first. *After taking a moment to make sure the gate's securely locked, the maid goes inside and heads up to the gym.*

*Ambush Cat remains quiet for a change, playing Spider Solitaire at his table. Aldonza is conversing animatedly in French with someone over her cell phone. Random music from the Classic Mega Man series can be heard in the background*

[Kumi-chan]

The man motions for the other who headed to the car to wait. They just wait for the maid to return.

[Circe]

*Ambush Cat remains quiet for a change, playing Spider Solitaire at his table. Aldonza is conversing animatedly in French with someone over her cell phone. Random music from the Classic Mega Man series can be heard in the background*

*The maid enters the gym.* Miss CIrce, some are at the gate, asking about the boy. They say he's their boss's son, and that he ran away to get away from his bodyguards. They ant to come in to see him.

*Circe turns in her chair to face the others.* So, what do you all think?

I think that considering the kid's state when we found him and that he wanted to get away from them, either their boss is a lousy father or the father is a lousy boss.

*It takes a minute for Aldonza to be able to tactfully end her conversation. When she does, Ambush Cat quickly brings her up to speed.*

I don't doubt Myst's wanting to get away, but I'm having trouble figuring out whether the people are just misguided or if something more sinister is involved.

We could just tell them that the boy needs to rest and recover first before he can go anywhere, and see how they'll react.

[Circe]

Yes, that's about what I was thinking. *Circe turns back to the maid.* Tell them he can't go anywhere just now.

Yes, Miss Circe. *The maid bows, then heads back down to the main gate.*
