The Route 323 Pokemon Center

[Mystic Mina]

"2 days, huh? I don't feel like traveling that far. I think I'll just kick back here and wait for that jeep of yours to arrive." Dallas stares warily at the Yanma beside Nurse Joy. "Just.... Is there.... Hell, I'll be blunt about it. Does that Yanma have an issue with me or somethin'?"

"Commander? Ah...he's wanting to battle." she explained.

"I used to be a Pokemon Trainer, myself. I attempted the great League Challenge and was the first of my family to do it. Sadly, they thought that sticking me here was a better idea to help trainers like you get from Johto to Orre or to the Shinto Ruins up north. Commander really wants to battle so I really think he just wants you to challenge me. I honestly wouldn't mind as well...do you know how boring it is to be cooped up here as a Pokemon Nurse?"

Eric walks into the pokemon center breathing heavily looking around "whew man this place" he says talking to himself but it was loud enough for others to hear

The Yanma twitched and went to stare at Eric now. Joy looked at the newcomer. "Wow...two people in one day. That's like a new record here." she said with a laugh. "Welcome to the Pokemon Center...how can I help you?" she asked Eric.

A young man named Mike who wore a long coat walked into the pokemon center. He had a small aipom on his shoulders. Both pokemon and young man felt tired as dust covered Mike's jacket. He took a deep breath and said, "Well that was something. And we are bary half way there."

Mike then walked to a bench and then dropped down to the floor that was next to it.

Joy blinked and sighed.

"I don't think this is a coincidence." she said as the Yanma eyed the Aipom and began to stare at it. Joy's Toxicroak also peeked out at the sudden rush of trainers coming in.

"So...what's all this rush?" she asked the three. "Cipher Scare in Orre? Traveling to Orre for some multinational league? New discovery at the Shinto ruins?"

Joy blinked and sighed.

The aipom looked at the Yanma and then tilted his head. She then let out a giggle and clapped her hands.

Mike looked up at the Joy and said, "Well I am heading for the Shinto Ruins. There been no discovery or anything impressive there. I just want to go up there and see them. Kind of interested in the legends that are there you can say."

a young man rushes into the Pokémon centre quickly followed by a Espeon, the pair seemed quite panicked but after checking out the door for a moment they relaxed and slumped to the floor exhausted though still conscious. “We got away.”

"A battle, huh?.... Yeah, sure, I could go for one. It would make you feel better if I fought with you, right?" Dallas shoots a glance towards the three newcomers. "You might have to take care of these guys first. When you're ready, I'll be in the front, 'kay?"

The man gives a quick wave to Nurse Joy before heading outside.

Joy nodded. "Alright..." She turned to the boy who was talking about the Shinto Ruins.

"Ah...you won't find much there." she said. "Just some old snow covered ruins." she added.

She then looked to the trainer who walked in with the Espeon. "You got away? From what?"

Joy nodded. "Alright..." She turned to the boy who was talking about the Shinto Ruins.

"Maybe so. Still I like to see so for myself." laughed Mike as soon his apiom was joining in in the laughter. "It is the journey up there that makes the trip. Not the final destination. Still we need a break. It has been tough getting up here."

"Well...the Pokemon Center is always open...at least, when I'm awake." she said, dryly. "Getting up there isn't going to be easy. I never done a thing myself."

The young man almost jumped back with fright at the woman’s question before recognising her to be a Joy. "It was a Ninetails....caught me observing its child and started attacking me...knocked out all my equipment and Pokémon except for Espeon here."

"Well...the Pokemon Center is always open...at least, when I'm awake." she said, dryly. "Getting up there isn't going to be easy. I never done a thing myself."

"Oh. I guessed that. Getting up to hear wasn't easy too but oh well. Still I guess if things get too hard then I could always fly back on my Charizard. Speaking of which mind if we stay and rest up here a bit?"

"Ninetales?" she blinked, getting a little wide eyed. "...You didn't try to pull its tails, right?" She was focused on the boy now.

The Yanma was getting excited with all these trainers coming into the center as it twitched more and more.
