Dawn hugs the little Maxine. "Now.....say thank you to the nice lady, okay? She helped you out, and you should be nice to her in return." She stands back up....and does a quick check to make sure there aren't any more kids in the library.

Jackie

"Thanks!" The cheerleader chirps after Jackie gives her a snack. She sits down on a nearby chair and happily munches away at the small meal while looking over at the waitress. "Y'know, you're a really cute girl, Jackie. I don't know why you spend all of your time here. I mean, you could be out chasing boys.... Like me!"

Nameless Lad

Joanna sighs as she sees her friend, once again, pulverize her boyfriend to a pulp. This happens every time! Good thing Brandon heals faster than most guys.

"Veronica, relax. He wasn't picking on you. You know how he is.... He likes to be unpredictable like that." She rubs the arm of her friend soothingly.

Dawn

Dawn doesn't notice any other kids in the library. She does, however, remember one little thing: Mom always wants her to carry Maxxy's stuff. The little girl always loses things, so it's up to her older sister to take care of her belongings.

[Jacqueline]

Veronica looks up at Joanna with, big, teary-eyed, well, err... eyes. "Who.. who are you?" she asks in a small voice.

[Nosnits]

Dawn smiles a the little sister. Geez, if she loses this thing again, she's going to cry...again. And mom'll be soooo mad if I let her lose it a second time..."Here Maxxie, let me hold onto it for you." She takes the 'hobo's amulet' off her hands, and puts it around her neck. "I'll let you have it when we get home, 'kay?"

[Marky]

Jackie

"Take good care you too" says Kylie patting the head of Maxine, before she goes back to work.

[Harri-chan]

The young girl was caught out at being called Maxie. Nobody ever called her that, it sounded so childish. She seemed about to protest when the schoolgirl slippped her pendant off and took it for herself. "Home? No.. I need it now...". She goes up on her toes, trying to grab it, but she accidentally squeezes one of Dawn's breasts .

[Mystic Mina]

Veronica

"I'm Joanna, your best friend!Are you sure you're alright? You're not sick, are you?" Joanna presses a hand against Veronica's forehead. "You don't feel hot. Maybe we should go to the nurse?"

"Ugh.... Joanna, I think I need that nurse more than she does...."

"Quiet, Brandon! You'll be fine in a couple of days!"

Dawn & Maxxie

As Dawn dons the amulet, she feels.... Empowered. Not overly so, but enough to make her feel like giving orders.

Jackie

".... Y'know, if you have something to tell me, I'm all ears." Roxanne, the cheerleader, grabs one of Jackie's hands and squeezes it gently. "We've been close friends for a while now, right? You don't have to hide anything from me."

Kylie

A instant message notification pops up on Kylie's computer screen as she works away at the giant stacks of paper on her desk. It's from her potential date for tonight.... Alice.

[Nosnits]

Dawn feels the little mental nudge by the amulet, but ignores it for now...she had more pressing concernes to deal with. After the tinge of pleasure shoots through her. "Maxie, please...you'll only lose it. Once we get back home....you can have it then, okay?"

[Zoey]

The notice serves as motivation to Kylie. She looks over to the huge pile of papers only wanting to get them finsihed so she can get out of work. She adjusts her glasses and keeps on working at a stedy pace.

[Marky]

".... Y'know, if you have something to tell me, I'm all ears." Roxanne, the cheerleader, grabs one of Jackie's hands and squeezes it gently. "We've been close friends for a while now, right? You don't have to hide anything from me."

"Well, umm..." Jackie pauses for a moment, and then sighs. "...me and Karin are going out..." Jackie says, before turning her head away, not wanting to see Roxanne's reaction.

[Harri-chan]

"You don't understand... I'm not supposed to go back home with you... ". Suddenly, what she'd thought was funny to do to Josh, Brandon and Robert earlier, was now coming back to bite her. The amulet had probably created a whole new life for her, along with Dawn... and a shiver ran down her spine at the thought of there being a woman that would think she was Maxine's Mother... she might have been a quiet adult, but she'd lived alone for a long time, and she'd become very independent, not used to others being in control of her like this.

She blushed as Dawn continued to treat her like a little sister, and she bit her lip, knowing she had to do something before she got taken home to this new life where she might get stuck. "Just... be careful what you say... ".

[Nosnits]

"Maxie...you're having a sleepover tonight?! Wow....why didn't mom tell me that?" Dawn says to herself. "Or are you thinking of running away....as that wouldn't be good, mom'd be so sad..." Dawn pauses for a bit, and considers the last thing she say. "I almost never insult people...so I should be alright. Thanks for the tip!" She smiles down at her anyways.

[Harri-chan]

Maxie's eyes widen as Dawn starts talking as if she was a real little girl that was going to be going to a sleepover. "Stop it! Stop talking!", she said in a panic, her heart racing, having seen what a comment could do to someone, even when it wasn't intended to do anything at all. Her hands were grasping Dawn's skirt, pulling on it "Please be quiet... ".

[Jacqueline]

"B- but I've never seen you before," Veronica continues. "And... and... and I really don't have a boyfriend!" The last part comes out slightly panicked.
