Karin looks over at Jackie, and then to Roxanne..."Uhm, Hi, I'm Karin...I'm a nurse....and I was here to teach the kids here about hand washing and other stuff the health department wanted me to pass out." She hands out pamphlets about good personal hygiene and hand washing to keep from getting sick. She then hears that Jackie and her were going out.."Uhm, Jackie, when did we end up an item?"

[Marky]

Jackie looks a bit stunned. "W-what? Karin...you d-don't remember?"

[Kris_Roth]

Karin stammered, blushing..."No, I don't...must be all the work I'm doing for the health department, with everyone worried about the N1H1 virus and the flu season. Besides, I don't think I am interested in girls, dating wise, no offense.... Hanging out after work, though, I can do....I still want to be friends, if that is okay?"

[Marky]

Jackie looks really hurt, as she suddenly gets up and storms off, tears starting to roll down her face.

Maxie's eyes widen as Dawn starts talking as if she was a real little girl that was going to be going to a sleepover. "Stop it! Stop talking!", she said in a panic, her heart racing, having seen what a comment could do to someone, even when it wasn't intended to do anything at all. Her hands were grasping Dawn's skirt, pulling on it "Please be quiet... ".

Dawn stops talking Geez.....that story musta really frightened her...I'll have to stp this before her imagination takes over... She kneels down and hugs MAxie. "Maxie...it's okay....there isn't a wolf out there.....he didn't really eat a grandmother and little red riding hood...it's just a story. You're just hearing things..."

Karin sees Jackie was upset and heads out after her..."Jackie, I am so sorry....please forgive me...I've been so busy with work, lately...I didn't know you liked me... Of course, I'll go out with you!" She gives Jackie a hug..."Forgive me....Please?"

[Harri-chan]

The young girl looks shocked when Dawn knelt down to her level, and slipped her arms around her. She couldn't remember the last time she'd been hugged. She didn't have friends, let alone boyfriends, and her parents hadn't spoken to her in years. Her cheeks go red and how... nice it felt, but she squirms at the feeling of Dawn's breasts pressing against her. "I'm not scared of the story... ", she whines, looking up into the pretty schoolgirl's eyes. The problem was, she actually look terrified. It wasn't because of the story, but that must be what it looked like.

Jackie pushes Karin away. "S-something's wrong with you. I...I don't know what, but you're not the Karin I know..." Jackie says, before heading off into the aisles of books, wanting to be alone for the moment.

See...there's nothing to be afraid of....the story isn't real..." Dawn smiles again, then stands back up. "Better?"

(The time now is about 12 o'clock.)

Dawn & Maxxie

Maxxie may try her hardest to fight it, but it DOES make her feel a little better. However, the feeling is interrupted when Dawn receives a call from their mom on her cellphone. Apparently, she wants them to get some things so that they can get ready for the slumber party tonight. There are a few shops nearby, so it will be easy for them to get what they need quickly enough.

Kylie

Though Kylie is a fast worker, the flow of papers seems never ending. It doesn't help that she's starting to feel hungry....

Veronica

"What are you talking about, Veronica? We've been friends ever since we were kids, and you've been going out with Brandon for a year now!" The look on Joanna's face becomes even more desperate. "Ver, you're making me worried. Maybe we should take you to the hospital or something!"

Karin & Jackie

"Wow, I never knew...." Roxanne whispers to herself as she watches the two lovers quarrel amongst themselves. "I hope they get back together!"

[Harri-chan]

Maxie closes her eyes as she finds the hug a lot more comforting than she'd wanted to, and cringes as she feels herself pushing her bottom out a little as Dawn finished by giving it a little pat. She watched with that frightened expression when the schoolgirl answered the phone, and she could just make out a few of the words being said, and begins shaking her head... "No... I can't go to the slumber party... I'm too old for those!".

[Zoey]

Kylie leans back on her chair letting out a frustraited growl. She rubs her stomach as she feels the hunger kick in. "Maybe a break is in order" she says to herself as she gets up to her desk and grabs her purse. She walks of the conviniently close Cafe.

Karin slumps in a chair, and wonders what has happened to her. Why was she paired up with Jackie..a girl...what had come between them...her job, her beliefs and morals? She sighs loudly, and wonders what will happen next..."What's wrong with me?" She asks herself....

[Marky]

After wandering around for a little bit, Jackie just heads back over to the children's section she was at earlier, and sits down, face in her hands as she starts to cry some more.

Paula & Robyn

"Hey, babe. It's Harry." Paula's boyfriend coos over the phone. She could recognize his deep, sensuous voice from anywhere. "Me and my bro have the car parked out in the back, so how 'bout you and your sister hop on? Your boss will never know."
