"Good idea." Jason says, continuing to follow Jace down the corridor.

Jace nods and continues down trying to find stairs.
"Let me confirm, your shelter shield is activated?"
"What are you planning?!"
"Your shelter is secure, is it?"
"Of course it is! Just see for yourself how powerless you are!"
"...Roger that."

Rodmart shivers as he hears the low growl. He takes further steps through the corridor, trying to be as discreet as possible and avoid unsettling the dust.

Did he hear a machine or a guard dog ? He wasn't very sure but didn't like either possibilities.

Kristian heads over to the group and hears the growling..."W-hat was that?" He then approaches the front door...looking for the doorbell or anything to ring or pull.

Resisting the urge to let out a sneeze, Marcus takes several steps down the corridor--still nervous...but he doesn't show it. Or at least he tries not to. As he comes to the first dusty door, he carefully puts a hand on the doorknob, trying to crack it open just a sliver.

Simon ignored the other arrivals and headed off on his own. When the deep groan echoed through the castle, he shrugged it off as the creaking of an old building. Secure in the idea that this was a bad drug trip, he chose a door at random and entered.

To Mike's great surprise there's an open door behind him! Wait, isn't that where he entered the room? Having noticed the bed, it somehow sticks to his thoughts. The bed looked strong enough. Maybe it'd be comfortable to sit on?

Mike had a sigh of relief as he noticed it was only the door. He shook his head as the thoughts of maybe somebody else came though the door.

"Quiet Mike," said the young man. "Only I have been though that door."

He then looks at the bed and took a deep breath. He walked over to it and hoped that it was strong enough even though it looked so old. Maybe sitting on it would help relax him a bit. Eventually MIke sat on the bed.

*Gina called out through the castle again as she found herself within a large throne room. The entire place was scary, and she didn't want to be alone. Stumbling her way over to the broken and dust-covered throne, she fell into it and started to to weep*

Jim looked to the gate with an expression of utter confusion, he had been driving to a wedding one minute and then he was here, with no idea what happened in-between. Turning his back to the gate, Jim reached into his pocket for his phone. “I-I’ll just call a taxi...yeah.”

~Gina~

In the throne room... Gina stumbles straight through the throne and smacks hard down onto the floor. A mirage? Looking around, the decadent throne room fades away, revealing a cold, stone room, much like a cellar. The heavy wooden door creaks, slamming shut behind her with a loud bang that reverberates through the room.

( Hint: don't go making up rooms of your own. You might give me ideas... )

~Geoff~

Yep, it's just the growling of some giant dragon somewhere. Nothing to worry about. There's still a castle to explore in the meantime. He try looking at some paintings, maybe? Underneath the dust could be a valuable work of art!

~John~

As the dust finally settles down, the young man gets a view of the detoriorated state of the room he's in. There's some rotting and broken down furniture. Some moldy clothing adorns one of the shelves in the closet.

~Reyes~

Reyes finds... a storage room! Big, wooden storage racks fill the room in neat lines. The smell of rotten food has long since faded, but some dusty mushrooms have apparently managed to live off the remains of some dead rat. There are quite a few wooden barrels around, all closed.

~James~

Assuming that James' 'voice' is the low rumbling, he heads further down the corridor. The growling gradually gets louder as the corridor widens and the interval between the doors becomes longer.

~Rodmart~

Rodmart continues cautiously down the corridor... a faint, musky smell wafts towards him on an unseen breeze. Is it coming from that room there?

~Kristian~

( You're not near any group or any kind of door, unless you mean the castle gates. I'll assume you're entering the castle, as there's not much else to do. )

The entryway leads to a dusty corridor, strikingly similar to the one that has been described for previous visitors. In short: dust, paintings, doors and a corridor that can be followed two ways.

~Marcus~

The door does indeed crack open... by coming loose at the hinges and toppling over with a piercing creak. The boy manages to jump out of the way, but can't hold the heavy oak door as it smacks onto the stone floor. The noise echoes throughout the whole castle...

~Simon~

Simon doesn't find any other arrivals to seperate himself from, but that seems to be just what he wants. He too finds the dusty hallway. The room he opens leads into... a comfortable living room? Well, something that looks like it used to be one. A crumbled fireplace in one wall would have been provided comfortable warmth for the remains of the two luxurious chairs facing it. A big and expensive, dust-covered painting hangs over the fireplace while the rest of the walls are covered with bookshelves laden with moldy literature.

~Mike~

As Mike sits cautiously down on the bed the piece of furniture lets out an ominous creak... but holds, if barely. As soon as his derrière has settled on the surprisingly soft mattrass a sense of comfort settles over him. This is a place where he can rest for a moment and get his bearings straight.

~Jim~

And... nope, no reception. Another animal howl behind him suggest it might be prudent to get into the safety of the castle...

~Jason + Jace~

As the pair continues down the corridor in search of stairs they find themselves disappointed. The light fades slowly, enshrouding them in increasingly deep darkness...

~All characters~

A soft clang, then a louder one echo throughout the corridors of the castle. The growling fades away... but almost immediately the silence is broken by an eardrum shattering roar of bestial fury! Specks of dust and debris come loose from the ceiling, showering each of the brave explorers...

[Apologies, but I wasn't sure of just how I should explore, especially since many of the other characters are able to interact with others in some way. It basically made me think I was doing something wrong. I won't do that again. XD But hey, getting ideas can be incredibly fun for the one running the RP, eh?]

Gina, at once, is at the large wooden door and banging her fists against it. More panic than before starts to creep into her, but before it could reach a peak, she managed to calm herself down slightly. "S-- Stay calm, Gina, a-- a level head is a lot better at something like this." She mumbled to herself as she began to take several deep breaths. Once feeling a little calmer, she begins to look around the cellar-like room for possibly some way to help her.

She immediately gave a startled cry a a loud roar echoed throughout the castle, causing dust to fall down on her, and even a small piece of the ceiling came down and nearly impacted with her foot. "Th-- That was close..." She said before trying to get back to exploring the room.

Angela had been on a night out with her college friends. It was still early, but she'd had a few drinks, and now it was time to visit the bathroom. She was infront, with another three girls following right behind her as she barged against the bathroom door and stumbled forward.

She fell, but it wasn't the floor of a bathroom she landed on, it was the steps of the castle. Her green eyes widen, and she looks behind her but finds the other girls were nowhere to be seen. A shiver go through her as she hears howling, and quickly scrambles up the steps and through the creaking wooden doors.

"Hello?", she called as she walked forward.
