Kumi-chan wrote:"That, wouldn't be a problem." The one in the truck says. He seems a bit thrown off by the lack of torture, that this women is being so nice to him. He frowns seeming to want to tell her now but knowing that he cannot.
The woman smiles slightly at the man's reaction. "Surprised? Were you expecting an interrogation, or toture?" She shrugs. "I'll admit, I had considered the possibility... but from what you said, your masters would most likely act to kill you outright, and we would find out little. Perhaps the origin of the attack, but..." She considers the man a moment. "I will admit, I would rather not sacrifice someone's life, even an opponent's, in such a manner. I will say, however, that your masters' willingness to do so has done much to pique my curiosity... and raise my ire."
She taps the desk, and from the further recesses of the truck, a man in a labcoat appears. "Yes, commander?" he asks. She turns to look at him. "Doctor, we are proceeding with plan C."
The scientist looks momentarily disappointed, but nods. "Understood." Pulling out a small medical kit, he advances on the man in the chair. "Now, we'll have to sedate you, I'm afraid... this won't hurt much, though." Pulling out a needle, he takes ahold of the man's arm with a surprisingly strong grip, expertly finding a vein. A quick swab with alcohol, and he slides the needle in, injecting the contents of the syringe into his arm. The sedative is quite strong, and the man should pass out quickly, unless he has some very strong resistance to such things.
Meanwhile, one of the soldiers appears in the doorway, and the woman at the desk nods to him. "Sergeant, have a team go over the vehicles. Make sure there's no unpleasant surprises, and then arrange for the vehicles and our unconscious opponents to be deposited in a safe place."
The soldiers salutes her, and heads off.
