I'd rather not practice. I just don't see things in numbers, and how I was taught in school turned me off to learning scholastic stuff.

Math, in particular.

Besides, if I don't use it, then I'll lose it; like I already have. Maybe when it becomes useful, I'll pay it some attention. Till then...

Sure it does. I mean you're not doing the math, but the computer is calculating things. Like what fequncy is what key and other things of mathatical importance.

But I don't have to do it. It's being done for me, thanks to other people who actually needed math to make it possible. You can blame them for this wonderful convenience that I've been given.

Well technically you aren't doing anything, I mean sure your doing something, but it's not doing something that will get you an income which is what the Square One song was about.

You can make money by writing. It doesn't require learning math to write.

Sure it does, writers sometimes get paid buy the word and counting is simple math, if you don't know math you can't count.

You can simply estimate by its size, and let the publisher or whoever count once it's presented to them. They're going to do it, anyway. You know, like how an accountant and other jobs do work that other people are usually qualified to do themselves, but don't for one reason or another. Kind of like being able to represent yourself in court, but hiring an attorney, anyway.

Which is still beyond the point: I don't have to learn 1 + 1 = 2 to say "one plus one equals two." It's highly unusual for anyone to understand math before being able to read and write a language.

I put 'eye-catching' for mine... I am completely horrible with basic math. Adding and subtracting with my fingers and such. But oddly enough... the further away from basic math I get the better at it I get. Geometry? I'm decent. Physics? Fun. I see those like logic puzzles. Once you know the formula to them, the rest is just deduction.

I just... anything else I need a calculator.
