~Gina~

And down the rabbit hole she goes... Well, through the prison window. It's the same thing, right? At least the 'falling down' part is the same... as she finds herself perched on a small outcropping at the edge of the most dizzying height she's ever seen! An old, rickity staircase leads down...

~Angela~

The dusty grey glint of old bones greets the woman. The beam of her flashlight plays across the remains of several... creatures, none of which she recognizes. One of the cells' door stands slightly ajar.

~Mike~

As he gets drowsier and drowsier, the room seems to warm up to a comfortable temperature. A faint, soothing melody is more imagined than heard.

~John~

Wrapping the cloth around the clothing... makes the wood disappear! The material seems to melt and is absorbed by the clothes. Worse, his hand seems stuck!

~Jace + Jason~

They run and run and run... and emerge into a massive cavern! Sudden brightness assaults their optic nerves, blinding them. When they finally manage to blink the dizzying spots away, they find themselves eye to eye with... a monster!

~Rodmart~

And he runs! Runs some more! Slows down to a jog... then comes to a halt breathing heavily. This is some long hallway... Fortunately for him, there's no sound of anything but his panting. Unfortunately, the corridor around him hasn't changed much. Except... is that one portrait slightly tilted to the side?

~Marcus~

And... the corridor still extends to both sides, although one side seems darker than the others. Should he continue, go back, or try one of the doors? Or the ever-present 'something else'?

~Reyes~

The barrel hits Reyes with unerring accuracy, giving him a nasty knock to the head! The room spins dizzyingly around him... until his vision finally clears somewhat. He finds himself laying on the floor, staring at a big hole in the floor, where the barrel smashed through a wooden grate. It seems he could fit in, if barely.

~Simon~

As the painting toppled over onto the man, 'shredding' is not what happens. Instead, the canvas practically desintegrates into dust, covering his body and entering his mouth and nose.

~James~

The light turns out to be... a big cavern-like room. Through a single, window, high up above the floor falls a beam of moonlight, elluminating a small pedestal.

MIke let out a yawn as he felt himself getting warmer. Maybe it was the room but something was up. He tried to move but felt very tired for some reason. One side of his mind was telling him to get out of the room while the other was pushing to relax. Apparently that side was stronger.

"Whaat is that sound?" asked Mike slowly as he began to close his eyes due to the drowsiness.

Seeing the monster in front of him, Jason pauses, eyes wide and full of terror. He never knew creatures like this even existed...just figments of your imagination. Jason slowly takes a couple of steps back, looking over at Jace and the rest of the room they're now in, wondering if there is any way to get away from this monster.

Jace is amazed when he sees the creature, he couldnt believe what his eyes were telling him. He motions Jason to stay quiet and to make their way back.
"Let me confirm, your shelter shield is activated?"
"What are you planning?!"
"Your shelter is secure, is it?"
"Of course it is! Just see for yourself how powerless you are!"
"...Roger that."

Jason nods, slowly heading backwards, before slowly turning back the way they came, keeping an eye on Jace and the monster.

Angela recoiled in horror at the of the bones, and brought a hand over her mouth as she quickly turned away from them, her stomach lurching as if she was going to be sick. For a moment she had to close her eyes and take a deep breath before looking in the next cells. What if there was someone in there. Slowly, she crept to the open one, and leaned in slightly to shine het light around.

"... ok.... maybe i am still on shrooms" John said as the cloths dissolved the wood. Noting what it did to the wood and the fact that his hand was stuck to it was not lost on him. "Yeah... this is probably not good" he said as he did the usual attempts at trying to shake if off not wanting to touch it again looking around he then attempted to pry it off by using the cabinet doors as a wedge to hold the clothes while pulling.

Rodmart tries to catch his breath and looks behind to check if no fanged creature followed him. ' At least, they didn't confuse me with a prey' he whispers to himself.

Looking back at the portrait, he nudges it with a finger.

Hesitating, Marcus looked back, his eyes fixing upon the fallen door for one extended moment...and he takes a step backwards into the darkness.
The way he came in had been this way...hadn't it? It would do no good to hang around by this door anyhow.
Taking another step back, he tears his eyes away, and spins around, walking quickly into the dark of the hall.

As Simon unintentionally inhaled the dust that was once a painting, he had a coughing fit, rolling arround on the floor as his eyes streamed with tears due to some of the dust getting into them. "Oh *cough* goddamnit! Stupid old piece of sh*wheeze* Stupid castle!" He coughes a few more times snd eventually gets to his feet, clutching one of the old chairs for support, eyes blurry from the dust.

Sighing to herself in relief after getting out of that room, Gina was about to take a step when she noticed just WHERE she was. "Oh my god..." She said as she peered over the side and down... down... down, noting that she had obviously been sent to what had to be the highest part of the castle. Stepping back and against the wall, she placed a hand to her face in an attempt to calm herself.

Turning her head to see if there was anyway to get away from the area, she saw a staircase, and felt even more apprehensive. It was old, and didn't seem as if it would be able to hold much weight. Would she be too heavy for it? "I-- I have to try it." She said as she slowly walked towards the steps, becoming rather dizzy as she looked down. After what seemed like a long moment of convincing herself, Gina started on her way down, refusing to look over the sides.

~Mike~

After the loud roar, whatever causes the sound seemed to have fallen silent. Nothing prevents him from falling asleep now... and his body is crying out to do just that. Almost against his will (or is it?) his eyes fall closed. There is darkness... then he finds himself sitting upright in the bed he laid down in, wide awake. He is kept warm by thick, lush covers, and a feathery pillow is dented where his head presumably lay. The room itself has similarly changed: all the rotted furniture has returned to its prime state. An ornate vanity stands against the wall, next to a heavy wooden closet, polished brown wood glistening in the light of a single candle sitting on a small bedside table.

~Jason + Jace~

The two back away... slowly... carefully... The monster sits there motionlessly, watches the intruders warily. Wait, is it even breathing?

~Angela~

The woman finds a mummified... snake? Whatever it was, it's thick, long body is curled protectively around a small, green statue.

~John~

About half of the cloth rips off. The shreds immediately begin absorbing the closet. His hand and writs are covered in the material and begin tingling with a most curious feeling.

~Rodmart~

The portrait tilts a bit more... then drops to the floor with a loud clatter. More than that, part of the wall comes loose with it! A cloud of dust billows out, enshrouding Rodmart's world in a grey haze. It takes minutes for the dust to settle, but then the man finds himself standing in front of a gaping hole in the wall. A tunnel leads away perpendicular to the corridor he's currently standing in.

~Reyes~

The hole leads into a tunnel that is quite slipperly, as Reyes quickly finds out. Unable to keep himself from sliding in, he finds himself on the wildest slide hes ever been on! He zips off into the dark, faster and faster and faster it goes! After what seems like hours, the tunnel emerges into an enormous cavern - some fifty foot above the ground!

~Marcus~

And further he walks. The corridor doesn't seem to change a whole lot, except that it continues getting darker. Strangely enough, every tenth door or so seems to have fallen down...

~Simon~

The chair he leans on collapses at the slightest pressure, sending even more dust billowing outward! Still, he manages to climb to his feet even without its help (eventually). As he stands and wipes the tears from his eyes, he finds himself standing with his back straight, knees close together and his feet pointing inwards. As he lowers his arms they clasp themselves demurely in front of thighs.

~Gina~

The stairs creak ominously as she sets foot on them. Still, somehow they manage to bear her weight. Slowly and carefully she makes her way down, round and round and round the edge of the abyss. Except the fact that her starting point gradually disappears from view the lower she gets, the view remains almost exactly the same.

"What the hell is this stuff" John exclaimed hoping that it wasn't poisoness the option of lopping off his hands wasn't the most appealing thought, then again he didn't have anything to do it with. Taking off his sweat shirt he tried to use it to wipe some of the stuff off his hands.
