Computers

Computers (or laptops) from other people, libraries and other sources -- basically whichever ones that aren't yours -- don't count. If you happen to have two or more at any time, just count one of them (since it would only require one of them to access MSF). Definitely count any computer (or laptop) that has come and gone.

I'm on my fifth computer since I've joined MSF, so it's four for me. While my last computer is still here and operational, I no longer use it for the Internet and intend to hook up its hard drive to my new computer one of these days.

As far as computers I've own just this one. But I've used computers in Iraq, Pakistan, and Afganastan to come to MSF as well.

This is my second. I've used it for the bulk of my tenure here, and right now it's acting like it really needs to go to the old computers' home. So it may go up to three sometime soon.

Just one? Even though you've been around for at least six years? O.o Do you change the hardware, or something, rather than buy a new computer?

Hmm...not sure which one to choose...one or two. I started out on my current laptop...amongst it's problems it was having when I first joined. Then primarily used the library when it went completely down. Then, upon Spring Break, I turned back to my old desktop of mine...which is why I'm considering 2, at the moment. Other than that, I've used this laptop that's currently about 2 and a half years old. It's still going, even amongst my various problems, of which I haven't had since the one back in March. *knock on wood*

I've upgraded the Ram, and an added a second hardrive after the first got corrupted.
