[FFRP] The RP Nexus

[Marky]

The teacher shakes her head. While she does this, a textbook flies from behind the desk and lands squarely on Harriette's desk. It opens itself and stops at a chapter detailing all sorts of things about Telekinesis. It all looks like gibberish. The same thing occurs on Nora's desk, only the book slaps down loudly before flipping to the same page. "I suggest you do some reading before either of you pop a vein." She walks off and stalks other students in varying degrees of success.

Harriette jumps slightly at the book suddenly flying in and landing on her desk. Slowly nodding, she looks down at the textbook, trying to make some sense of what is said.

[muffinstud]

"So you were about to go through a similar experience, just with the opposite uniform. Hmm..." Phil frowns in thought. "Tell me, after school is over today, what are you going to do? Do you have anywhere to stay yet?"

The boy scratches the back of his head and goes back to his pen, which floats perhaps an inch above the surface of his desk.

Harriette has a difficult time understanding all of it. Perhaps going back a chapter would help things make more sense, but then again...one of the paragraphs seemed to just kind of click with her, even if she didn't understand a word. Maybe if she tried again?

"What for? I don't bite." She gives Ginny a wink. "Often." Naru turns her attention to "Claire", with a curious tilt to her head. "I don't mean to be a bother, but you don't have any relatives that live here, do you? I have to know, because you remind me of someone I know."

[Nosnits]

Well...at least he seems to know how he can do it... Nora roles her eyes, as none of the stupid stuff makes sense. Once the teacher is, once again, no where near her, she covertly reads the note that the boy gave to her.

[Alissa of Someday]

She nods.

"Sort of...Though, I got the impression it was a rather different kind of school then this..."

She trails off, and then shakes her head.

"Uh--and no. I--I have no idea."

She shivers in her seat, looking down.

[Maiden Miki]

The baseball girl soon has her own locks tamed and offers Macy her hand. "I don't think I told you. It's Becca. And yours is Macy, right?"

"Oh. Well hey there Becca," said Maya as she with help from Becca get her hair fix up a bit. Now Macy's hair was nice and straight.

[Zoey]

"As far as I know, none. I'm just taking my little princess here to get enrolled in school" says 'Claire' as she rubs Ginny's head

[muffinstud]

"Hey, no worries. You have a friend in me, if it's worth anything to you." Phil scribbles something on a small slip of paper and slides it across the desk to her. "If you feel like things are overwhelming you, that's my number. I'll do my best to help you out, okay Carl?" He pats his desk and slides his hands back away from her. "As for after school, I'd recommend getting yourself a hot meal, getting some clothes so you can change out of that uniform, and getting a good night's rest at the ladies' apartments. You'll have free rent there, and I hear it's quite nice."

The not still reads the same, a simple invite to talk at lunch. The boy is still concentrating on his pen, but it hasn't lifted any higher.

"Well, looks like we're both presentable. Let's get you some clothes of your own. I'm sure you'd like something that fits better than my stuff." Becca sets her bush aside and heads out the door.

"Are you sure?" Naru squints. "The name Zoey doesn't ring a bell?"

Harriette tries to re-read it all once again, hoping that more than just one paragraph will start clicking.

Nora sighs to herself, and resigns to just staring at the book, then the pen, in that order, until class ends...

As she re-reads, Harriette still can't make heads or tails from the text, but more and more of it just seems to seem right. It doesn't make sense, yet makes perfect sense all at the same time.

Nora's textbook remains cryptic, the pen remains a slave to gravity's tether, and the minutes remain as slow as ever.

[Nosnits]

Nora, after waiting for...well, along time for the seconds to get there behinds in gear, once again leans over an whispers to the boy. "....How do you make the stuff float?"

[Alissa of Someday]

Carl takes the paper, and folds it neatly in half, before awkwardly feeling around in her uniform for some kind of pocket or another.

"Ah--right, well..."

She nods.

"Will I get my own room?"

As she re-reads, Harriette still can't make heads or tails from the text, but more and more of it just seems to seem right. It doesn't make sense, yet makes perfect sense all at the same time.

Harriette pauses for a moment, before trying to re-read it once more, hoping she'll be able to make something from the text this time.

"Well, looks like we're both presentable. Let's get you some clothes of your own. I'm sure you'd like something that fits better than my stuff." Becca sets her bush aside and heads out the door.

"Yeah yeah. That sounds nice," said Macy as she walks out the door with her.

[Zoey]

"No, it doesn't. Why?" she replies as she slowly dies inside.
