Dan cautiously made her way down the next hallway. A girl was holding her head, as if she had a massive headache, obviously heading to sick bay. Dan instantly broke into a cold sweat, worried that she might be noticed. The girl, clutching her head, made no move of recognition as she got closer. Dan closed her eyes as she pulled the gun and fired. The girl's headache went away immediately as she fell to the ground.

The Hierarch's face was covered by a white mask, akin to Phantom of the Opera. Her perfect mouth smiled at Charlie, "You know there aren't many people who say I've gone too far...when you're the most respected rank in an army it's refreshing to hear what another person thinks." she held Charlie's chin as she said it. The hierarch's hair was done up in a victorian style and slowly fell down her bare shoulders. It looked as if she were going to a masquerade party. A crimson ballroom gown covered her modesty, though not by much. The overcorset that held her waist thinner was wreathed in gold thread. Lower still, her dress seemed to have been cut short to simply flare outward, "Skirts were always so hard to walk in." She mentioned as she noticed his eyes drifting down. Black leggings sheathed her legs while perfectly crimson heels held her feet. "It should be an honor to see me. I never allow most of the girls a full view at my face...keeps them distance and subordinate. But you," she caressed his face again, "Are a very lucky boy. Now come, we haven't much time." she quickly left the room and led the way to a laboratory chamber.

Her appearance took him by suprise, missing a step, and stumbling a little as his blue gaze roamed down over her figure, her smile sending a shiver down his spine. He stared at her short skirt and lovely legs, then forced himself to look away again, but each click of her heel gave him the chills. With his hands now free, her rubbed around his mouth, and then lowered the hand to adjust his pants as he walked ahead of her.

He began to wonder if there really was hope. Maybe he'd been right and the girls really did need some boys around to satisfy them. Maybe he'd keep his masculinity after all. He didn't look at her when he felt her fingers brush against his face, but he did look down at her bottom when she brushed passed to lead the way.

"You hardly seem like an army... it feels more like the slumber parties my little sister used to have... ", he mumbled, smirking a little as they entered the laboratory chamber. If they planned to turn him into a girl, she'd not have taken him out of that ridiculous nighty and put him back into fairly male clothing, although the collar did bother him somewhat, and he tugged at it as he followed.

chris sighs "yes but those hybrids attack there convoys im sure so that would be a bad place to send a prisoner im positive that its at that one plus i mean why wouldnt the heirarch want to meet the imfamous killer of so many girls" he says with a chuckle as he makes sure all his ammo is in check pulling out his combat knife the blade already razor sharp as he starts sharpening it out of boredom glancing at some of the other soldiers "so new recruits ?"

((Gotcha...well it'll be a while playing Dan on my part then))

This tactic between Dan and Greg continued, only a few more girls blocked their way to the Zeta Isolator. "All right guys everone in. We'll lock the seal and with the demo charges, we'll blow a straight line out of the base...THAT is where we'll have to hustle." within the room, A massive machine sat, pink electrodes and neon tubes encircled the collection chambers and a low hum signaled that it was on.

***

The driver laughed, "Hey, Chris, I'll need you to move your ego-bloated head, I can't see out the rear-view. Then again, it doesn't matter to me...you're the one infiltrating." to the next question, the other boys shook their heads, "No we've been in the field for about 8 months, we were just transferred from the Nevada frontline."

***

A chuckle emanated from the Hierarch's masked face, "We try to make the homefront comfortable...that way we don't go insane. It's where you boys fail at...there has been nothing from our intel that hints that the boys have fun with any activities...they're too focused on winning. We'll triumph despite your unyielding efforts." the laboratory was filled with scientists working machines and devices making sure everything worked. There were two chambers connected by a mass of wires, tubes, and glowing energy. One was empty while the other held a single occupant. A very small girl. She couldn't have been older than twelve...maybe even younger. She was dressed in what looked like an exact attire as Charlie's; leather vest and pants. She looked scared.

Charlie was still tugging on the spiked collar as he walked into the laboratory, wrinkling his nose at the Hierarch's claims the girls would triumph. His blue eyes looked around the room, lingering on the scientists. And then his gaze fell upon the young girl. It reminded him of his sister, Clare. She'd be older now, around fourteen, but she'd only just turned twelve the last time he saw her. For a moment, he was lost in his thoughts. His girlfriend, Crystal, she'd be seventeen by now.

Shaking himself out of the daydream, he looked up along the glowing tubes that linked the two glass chambers. "You're performing experiments on your own troops? Do you girls even have any morals? Atleast we try and make your deaths quick... ", he muttered.

He moved closer to the chamber, his eyes narrowing at one of the scientists, and then pressed his fingers to the glass. "Is this part of your 'fun', Girlie?". Despite knowing these were the enemies, and this girl would probably already be into her training, he felt sorry for her. He used to tease his sister a lot about being a little girl, but he'd matured since then, and he'd seen so many horrible things.

Surge motioned to the giant machine. "Hey Greg, what the heck is that?" he said. "If thats what I think it is, I don't using explosives here would be a good idea"

Greg nodded, "Yes, it would be a damn shame if this went kaboom..." he motioned for Surge and Dan to seal the doors. "He carefully powered down the machine and from the central compartment, he removed a small object that looked like a mini-engine. "This is what we haven't grasped...Ironic it looks so similar to a car's engine." he took out an aerosol can and began spraying it to neutralize any stray Zeta. Once sure he was good, he placed it in his backpack in exchange for a few bricks of C4. "All right. We need to place these strategically so that the wall is destroyed with enough room for us to all charge through. Before they prepared, he made sure to place a few C4 charges on the larger generator. "Let's get crackin'."

***

The boys shrugged, "You've been a myth for a while. Someone who's doing more good against the girls than our whole army...because it seemed like you had gone rogue, there've been more and more boys who have left with a few supplies to bring the war to the girls."

The boys showed up to the initial site. A lone bike stood by itself until the jeep pulled closer. The driver looked into the rear-view, "I'll make sure there's a place for you back home when you get back."

***

The scientists smiled at the new specimen that had entered while the hierarch laughed, "This isn't fun...this is war. Outside this room, we try to live a better life. Now get in." she pushed him forward into the glass chamber. "It won't hurt...though you will be dizzy afterwards." (The transformation will happen next post!!!)

He felt her hand against his backside, nudging him forward, and he tried to twist and turn and reach out to grab at her leg, but his fingertips just brushed against her leggings as he fell into the chamber, landing on his backside. First, suprise spread across his face, but that soon turned to anger, his eyes narrowing at the beautiful girl.

Just like when Mary Anne had found him, he was now on the floor, looking up at the Hierarch, making her seem so much taller. Her brought his knees against his chest, and then kicked out, slamming both feet against the glass, trying to break it so he could escape the chamber!

Surge nodded and started putting up the explosives after the doors were sealed. He tried to put them in a order that would make their Area of effect the most effective. "Ready" he said after all his charges were put.

Greg began setting up the detonating cords between all the C4 bricks, "All right. After this, we'll need to do the same with whatever walls are in front of us. I'll do my best to hold whatever girls show up, back while you set up the next wall." he sighed, "I hope we'll be able to do this...if not...I can't even imagine the consequences that lie before us." he pulled out the detonator. "Are we ready?"

***

The driver thought the question over for a while, "I guess that's up to you, whether or not you want to kill someone who still hoped you were out here." he saluted Chris as he stepped out of the jeep and the boys sped off out of sight.

***

The chamber's walls gave nothing except for a berating lesson in physics, as Charlie's legs basically tried to break a concrete floor. "Don't struggle." a scientist said, "I'll only make it worse." the other scientists began shuffling around the room, hopping out of the gears and whistles and closing hatches. It seemed to take a few minutes, but eventually all the girls were a safe distance from the machine. The Hierarch stood in front of the chamber, "I shall see you tomorrow." was all she said as she whisked out of the room. The head scientist, a curvaceous girl with black hair in a bun, called her assistants to prep the machine. She adjusted her coke-bottle rim glasses as she surveyed the large room. The machine hummed to life, the cracking of electricity darting from receptors and nodes deadened anything the lab-coated scientists yelled. Within Charlie's life-size jar, the air had taken a static property. The hair on his body stood on end and it seemed that all his insides had moved closer to his skin. Despite that he couldn't see inside himself, it felt like his blood was moving faster than it should. He could feel his short hair trying to reach the top of the chamber and his skin began to tingle. If he looked into the other chamber, the girl had curled into the fetal position and tears ran down her red face. Her blonde hair, tied back into a ponytail was trying to escape its bonds as it reacted to the static. Back in Charlie's chamber, a hatch opened at the top revealing a perfectly spherical ball of steel. It slowly lowered, revealing the wires connected it to the monster machine. If it weren't for the chambers sound-dampening properties, Charlie would be able to hear the girl's crying get louder...though her face reflected the same emotion. Visible lines of lightning slithered around the ball, a high-pitched screech emanating from their movements. After a few second the lightning began to move faster. Charlie would begin to feel dizzy in combination with the opressive static air and the fact that it felt like his blood had gotten even faster and like his organs were trying to leave his body...he almost felt hollow inside. On a bright computer screen two words lit despair into Charlie's soul: SOUL EXTRACTION. He remembered the concept of an electromagnet as a little kid in school...a battery wrapped several layers of copper wire or for a more powerful magnet...smaller copper layers moving very quickly. This revalation all came very quickly and before he knew it the tesla ball's noise had reached ear piercing frequency. It didn't matter though, time seemed slow and his body almost seemed distant...like the electrified responses his body had grown up with were sluggish. He would tell his arm to move and seconds later it would respond. Before it felt like his ears were going to explode the tesla's lighning lept from it's prison and attempted, or at least it felt like it, to completely bore into Charlie's cranium. That was when things got weird, he felt as if he were velcroed to every primary, secondary, and tertiary function of his body and organs, and it felt like the velcro was slowly coming undone. Little strings of cosmic connection were slowly being ripped away. His feet went first and though it felt like he should have collapsed, his body remained upright as his shins slowly lost feeling. Soon enough he had no hope of bending his knees and after that his entire lower-half had given up on him. This horrid feeling continued until it reached his throat...he couldn't breathe...he had lost all connection to his lungs and now they had failed to work. Fear gripped him to his soulless core and he instinctively bit on his tongue but that didn't matter either soon enough, his mouth left his conciousness. All he had left was his nose, eyes and ears...but he knew it was a matter of time before they too would be destroyed. He had resigned himself to death. He couldn't breathe at all, and his hearing had left...a relief in spite of his fear. He could look from the chamber for only a second longer as his vision clicked out as if someone had turned him off with the push of a button. He was completely disembodied. No longer could he see anything, but despite his senseless existance he could feel everyone in the room. Even while it seemed like he was everywhere and nowhere he still felt himself being pulled in a direction...up. A bright feeling penetrated his soul as he 'felt' another soul brush past him. His memory was assaulted with feelings of fear, betrayal, and childish wondering. It was brief...not even a fraction of a milisecond. Soon he felt himself being pulled further and eventually heading downward. The velcro feeling returned but now it felt like he was being pressed against it. First he felt a solid surface, the ground he assumed. Soon he felt his legs...though it was as if his soul had to be stuffed into a compartment too small for it. Soon he had a torso again and his arms returned to his feeling; though again, it felt as if he didn't fit in his body. His body instinctively pulled in as much air as it could when his lungs returned. He breathed quickly and as his tongue assumed it's role he had the distinct taste in his mouth of...candy? His nose appeared and again his sense were assaulted with the light smell of perfume. Before long his eyes returned to his body and soul combination. The world was dizzy...or was it him? He couldn't tell anymore. The chamber seemed so much bigger and the girls seemed so far away now. His eyes couldn't focus on anything...the static air was still hard to be in...it hurt more than the start now and he felt the sincere urge to cry. Like his mother was this close but wasn't holding him. He hadn't felt like this in years...and he hadn't even thought of it after the war started. The world was so big...was all he thought about...and he couldn't win. He almost didn't hear the chamber door open.

After failing to break the glass and only succeeding in making his legs sore, Charlie pulled himself to his feet within the chamber, and watched as the Hierarch left the room, and then his blue eyes turned to the closest scientist. "What the hell is this?", he snarled as he felt the air in the chamber... change. He'd seen boys turned into girls before, and he knew this wasn't how it worked. Just a single bullet could do that. His heart raced inside his chest, his mind reeling with confusion. His fist banged against the glass, and now the fear pushed aside any attraction he had for these girls. "Hey, I'm talking to you!".

Bringing his hands up to the sides of his head, he grasped at his short hair and turned to watch the young girl as she curled up and cried, but being distracted by the sound of the steel ball lowering from the hatch, and his eyes widen as he saw the wires wrapped around it. There was a thud as he threw himself back against the glass with as much force as he could manage, and began to cry out, squeezing her eyes shut tight, his face contorting as the sensations grew stronger and stronger. Everything became a blur as he felt himself lose control of his body, and for a horrifying moment he feared wetting himself infront of the girls again, but soon he had much bigger things to worry about as it seemed he was being sucked right out of his body.

And then there seemed silence, and calm, everything slowing down as he felt a connection with another, and knew it was the young girl. He tried to grasp at her, but he had nothing to grasp with, and then suddenly, the chaos resumed. The silence shattered, everything speeding up once more as he felt the feeling returning from the feet upwards, and he found himself curled up upon the floor as he sucked a deep breath into his lungs and his eyes opened wide. His tongue swirled around his mouth, the taste of candy causing even more confusion, and he groaned at the strong smell of perfume.

He squinted as the room seemed to spin, and the light hurt his eyes, but he could see the girls through the glass. He wondered why the chamber seemed bigger, and the girls too, but his mind was numb from everything that was happening. Dragging himself to his knees, he lifted his hands, pressing them to the glass, and gazing through at the scientists as the sting of tears filled his eyes, and he felt them start to roll down his cheek. It took a moment to realise the door and opened, and he wiped at his tearful eyes to try and clear his vision before lifting his head a little to look up....
