Peter bursts happily in on the two arguing, still grinning like a fool. Next to the two wearing their armor and big swords, his scrawny frame doesn't look all that impressive. The bow, however, is a different story entirely. A long bow, made from yew and carved with skilled hands into an intricate design that doesn't reduce performance at all with a rather expensive-looking string hanging on his shoulder. That is an impressive weapon.

"Oi! Oi there, what's all this yelling about, then, eh? Not looking to bloody yourselves up before they even open the gates, are you? Haha, be unfortunate, that would!"
The moment his eyes lay on Ginny, his grin becomes a wry smile as he bows elegantly, arms wide-spread and feet set at awkward angles. "M'lady."
It's not at all mocking or sarcastic. Perhaps he simply knows how to treat a lady, or perhaps he's trying to make her angry. Likely he's spotted her sword.

Sir Dendin ignores the loud man as he begins shooting off accusations and storms down the tunnel to the arena sunlight. Hopefully a good spar would get rid of some of his frustration.

As the doors open that lead out into the arena, Ginny rose from her chair, only to turn when she heard another voice, and regarded Peter for a moment before nodding her head in greeting. "Glad to see someone else can see we're all on the same side here", she smiled a little, hefting her shield onto her back, and placing her sword back at her hip, and pulled her gauntlets back on, "Let's go see what they have in store for us, hmm?", she murmured, and raised her eyebrows at him before turning and heading out towards the sand and daylight.

Peter's smile somehow gets wider as he raises an eyebrow and follows Ginny through the doors.

James tears off the last bit of meat from the chicken leg and throws it away before wiping his fingers on his cloak and walks down the tunnel.

Francis remained silent as he marched through the doors into the arena, it seemed watching the paladins argue left him feeling uneasy. He followed the other competitors into the arena, keeping his distance from both Ginny and Sir Dendin.

Andrew,, in an unremarkable fashion, slowly follows after the others down the tunnel.

Emerging from the tunnel, they would find themselves walking on the hard packed sand of the Arena. The darkness of the waiting room combined with the suns glare off the sand being almost blinding.

As they begin walking into sight, they hear a thunderous cheer from the stands. It appears the people are quite happy to finally see their potential saviors.

Straight ahead from the tunnel, the royal box rises up high in the stands. King Arleigh IX and his lovely daughter sit in it, awaiting their arrival. As they begin emerging, the King stands. The crowds fall silent as he begins speaking, his clear voice ringing out.

Arleigh: "Greetings, heroes... please, make your way to the center of the Arena if you would."

Though he's sure she can't see him, Peter gives a sly wink and smile to the Princess with a soft, "This is for you, m'lady." He then walks to the center with a spring in his step. "Now let's see what we got here, then..."

James walks to the cntre of the arena, his hood protecting his eyes from the bright sun. Deciding some form of respect might be proper, he does a small bow in the direction of the royal box.

Victor fills himself up eating a surprisingly large amount of food before heading out into the arena proper. Entering he look around and tried to avoid yawning at the farce, the entire arena idea was rather unnecessary and likely for show. Hopefully he wouldn't have to actually fight and would just be able to stall the opposition with barriers but given his luck he instead just proceeded with some more preparatory faith chants instead.

Trey attempts to quickly put down his anger in light of the last room's encounter. He shakes off his woes and steps to the center ring, shield on his left, bastard sword in his right.

((Sorry for moving this so slowly >.>))

The royalty smiles at the assembled individuals... the face of the princess gaining a little blush as she looks on at the heroes. The King pauses a moment, then continues.

"We all know dark times are at hand... but as I look at these brave men and women standing fast in the sands of our Arena, I know they are but a passing thing! And that soon, our deliverance will be assured!"

He falls silent as the crowd bursts into thunderous cheering. The heroes get the definite impression he was speaking to the crowd, not neccessarily them.

Lian wrote:*he heads straight to the nearest booth*

The clerk behind the booth glances at him, then shrugs. "Name, place of birth, and next of kin. Ya might want ta hurry too." He nods to the left of him, where the King's speech and the crowds cheering can be heard.

Alissa of Someday wrote:The fellow shrugs one massive shoulder.

The other clerk sighs. "Fine... go ahead on through." He nods to the passage to his left. "Straight on through to the Arena."
