Mary Anne's eyes glistened with held back tears as she continued, "No...he died that day. The schism between his physical body and brain, his intelligence, and the part we had never considered: the soul was to difficult to bear and he died from three simultaneous brain hemorrhages...we didn't find out about those until he died. The scientists told me he was in a coma, and I desperately tried to believe them...even when I knew the truth." she dabbed her leaking eyes with her pajama sleeve, "After they performed the autopsy when they considered him dead, they found the hemorrhages and could only explain that his brain had imploded on itself." she gasped deeply to regain her control, a sense of emotional calm took place, if only for a moment, of her rampant memories. "The girl suffered the same way. We did more research and discovered that it wasn't the intelligence we could remove from the body, but the entire soul. It's been a long road of exploration with more casualties than it might have been worth...but we've finally tapped into that source." she sat silent, still trying to be the good example to the small girl.
It's not about how much dough you make -- it's about how delicious a pizza you eat at the end.
