Surge goes back in and backs up the loadouts. He also backs in some extra belts of amunition and food. You can never be to careful. Surge slammed the door shut with both hands. "All a shore, whos going a shore!" he called.
"Let me confirm, your shelter shield is activated?"
"What are you planning?!"
"Your shelter is secure, is it?"
"Of course it is! Just see for yourself how powerless you are!"
"...Roger that."

Greg, Ashton, and Dan all hopped in the van, Greg with his usual rifle and Dan and Ashton with the spare pistols Greg had laying around. "Who wants to drive."

***

One of the girls shook her head, "There's no way in, they sealed the doors behind us." Chris might notice a boy resting in the corner, as if tired from all the excitement of the lockdown...it was Charlie!

***

The hierarch smiled, "It's more than safe. No one would think to find me here, or in any other dorm room for that matter. I just figured the lockdown could best be spent with my new favorite convert and one of my right hand assistants. Good evening Mary Anne." the girl greeted the maid who smiled, "Good evening to you as well. I trust that the check-ins went well?"

The hierarch nodded as she sat on the bed, patting the mattress to invite Charlotte into the little circle of theirs, "Yes. The girls are all bored and don't understand the lockdown..." she began with a sigh, "But I can't very well tell them its Chris out there...can I Charlotte?" she sported a wry smirk on her face. "So until the lockdown's complete, I'll be here with you girls."

It was obvious Mary Anne hadn't expected this and it was all too clear she wasn't on casual speaking terms with her leader and remained silent.

Julian stows his gear in the van, then heads to the drivers seat. "I will. I'm like the only guy not turned to hash."
O Muse!
Sing in me, and through me tell the story
Of that man skilled in all the ways of contending,
A wanderer, harried for years on end...

Charlotte blushed at being referred to as the Hierarch's favorite convert as she followed the older teenager back to her bed, and then crawled up between the pair of them. Charlotte had often dreamed about being between two girls like this over the last two years, although she'd never pictured it while she was a girl herself, nor when they'd seemed so much bigger than her.

Her blue eyes looked back and forth, listening to their conversation as she knelt beside the Hierarch, giving her head a little shake as the girl give her a little smirk and mentioned Chris, "No, Miss... ". She felt almost dizzy with excitement. From what Mary Anne had told her, and the way the other girls had acted around her, it was obvious not many people got to spend time with her... but she was right here, in Charlotte's bed, acting as if they were all just friends, and she'd called Charlotte her favourite...

"Miss, I'm sorry about the assault course... I... I... just need a little more time to get used to this", she blushed. "I know I can do better next time... ". She reached a hand up, slipping it beneath her blonde hair to rub the small bump on the back of her head. "I just felt so... weak". She went a little more red as she remembered Mary Anne mentioning to her how the girl in her old body had been happy to find she could lift her doll house up with ease now.

She glanced down at her small, skinny body, wriggling back a little, off her knees to sit her bottom down beside Mary Anne so they were both sat facing the Hierarch together.

With all the boys ready in the van and with Ashton and Dan sitting nervously in the back of Greg's van, they were off! The inside of Greg's van was even more hilarious than the engine/junker body, for it almost looked exactly like a 70's love van. The seats lined the side and there was shag carpet on the floor, walls, and ceiling. Though, the center had been cleared of junk for the boys and their weapons. "All right, Julian, but treat the old girl right...she's older than all of us combined practically.

***

Charlie, after closer inspection was unconcious. He seemed healthy and fine, perhaps they had allowed him to recuperate after being captured before he'd be transformed.

***

The Hierarch arched an eyebrow at Charlotte's apologizing. "There's nothing to apologize for. You've been in that body for only a few days. Give it time," she brushed her hand along Charlotte's cheek, "And everything will be just perfect." she nudged Mary Anne, "Won't it Mary Anne?" her perfect, glittering eyes shifted back to Charlotte, "I looked up your file from a confiscated data file and you've been hiding more than you realize. We had imagined that Chris would make a fine sniper for our army, but with you...we can achieve so much more."

She leaned slightly towards the teenager's fingers as they brushed along her cheek, her eyes widening when the Hierarch spoke of her file. "Does anyone else know I'm not taking the drugs? The scientist right after you transformed me gave me some, and then the Doctor who gave me a check-up gave me some more... but I've not forgotten anything.. ". She blushed. She knew they'd affected her, she just didn't want to admit it to herself.

Her blue eyes looked back and forth between the two pretty teenagers. "What is it you'd like me to do, Miss?", she asked, although the failure at the assault course had severely knocked her confidence in her own abilities, she was still eager to please the Hierarch. She looked down over her small hands, and bit her bottom lip, unsure if she'd even be able to fire a rifle anymore.

"Right... lets hope any girls we come across on the road laugh themselves to death."

He starts up the car, heading out into the wild blue unknown!

"Anyone know the nearest base from here?"

"Our best bet would be to go to a nearby out post due northeast. Its the closest thing I remember." suggested Surge.

Brnin8r wrote:Jack could see empty hallway from the cracked door but one thing caught his eye: a briefcase outside his door now.

Jack frowns and crouches to slide the briefcase into the room before shutting the door. Only once the door was closed did he really pick it up. Carrying it to one of the desks, he sets it down carefully and opens it up slowly.

Greg looked at Surge with an approving look, "Sounds good, we don't want much out-in-the-open time." The van hummed along the dusty road. "So what brought you guys into the boys army?" Greg asked, attempting to start a conversation.

***

The boys nodded feverishly, "Yes sir." one shouted. The other girls looked a little bummed, though they knew life at the boys base would be just as much hell with their new genders.

***

The Hierarch smiled, "No one else knows and as far as I can tell nobody can notice a difference in your training compared to other girls. I want you to eventually be my assassin Charlotte. My go-to girl for intel and garbage disposal." she mentioned the second job with a slight disgust, "While combat is the honorable way to proceed through things, people need killing. And for that I'll need a free-thinking individual." she looked to Mary Anne, "And you're being assigned to directly train with Charlotte. All other wards you've been assigned to have been reassigned to another maid. Your job is Charlotte and keeping her safe." To this Mary Anne smiled brightly and nodded, then looked to Charlotte. "It would be my honor Miss."

Her expression grew a little uneasy when the conversation turned to killing. Wether it was their drugs or not, her experience on the girl's side of the war had so far been nowhere near the horror she imagined. She felt a new loyalty to the Hierarch and Mary Anne, but at the same time, she still remembered she had friends back at the boy's base. Her blue eyes drifted to Mary Anne when the Hierarch informed them they would train together, but she couldn't help blush, as it sounded almost like the pretty maid was being assigned to be her babysitter.

The Hierarch, was a very hard girl to say no to however, and Charlotte had noted she hadn't taken any pleasure in discussing the task of death either, not like some of the boys she'd known, or quite a few of the girls for that matter. There was a long silence before she nodded her head, "We both want the same thing... we both want this war to end... ", she murmured, her childish voice having a rather serious tone for the moment. "Would you... turn them all into girls, Miss?".
