As her sword was knocked aside, her momentum carried her a step towards the bore lady, having put so much force into the thrust that she almost toppled forward. Digging her foot into the sand and bending her knee, she managed to avoid falling, only for the blast of purple to knock her backwards, the great sword slipping from her grasp and skidding along the sand as she landed on her back with a thud of the heavy armour.

The demon hmms at the fallen Ginny, smirking slightly. "I'm afraid you have the disadvantage now, little girl." Her hand continues glowing, but it shifts to the tips of her nails, looking like she has claws of glowing light. She steps forward, swiping downward at the prone paladin!

Of that man skilled in all the ways of contending,
A wanderer, harried for years on end...

Ginny drew heavy breaths, blue eyes watching the towering Boar Demoness come closer as she lay in the sand, but just as the creature swiped at her with the glowing claws, the young woman rolled over onto her chest, so the blow glanced across her giant shield which glowed with the impact, the emblem of the sun the brightest of all. Her braided blonde hair danced about as she got onto her knees with her back to the Demoness, and then pounced like a cat towards her fallen sword, fingers grasping the handle as she rolled over, and then reached for the shield with her other hand, pulling it from her back as she rose onto one knee, crouching to face the Boar Lady, the shield hiding her entirely. Cracks of light appeared beneath the shield, spreading out around her, four or five feet in each direction to form a sort of circle, with the paladin right in the center of it.

Trey held his stalwart shield forward as the demon charged. At the right moment, he intended to slash downward, hopefully dismembering the fiend, "Back to the pits of hell, foulspawn!!!" he shouted as it came in reach swinging his sword sharply.

Gregor's face was white as death as the red ball drew ever closer. He closed his eyes tightly hoping it wouldn't hurt when he heard the denying voice of the cloaked man. As the red spirit disappeared into the void Gregor was transfixed with emotions. Something so evil and devastating as nature magic had just saved his life. As the shadowy character asked, Gregor nodded, "Yes sir...Sir Dendin." as he spoke though he was led quickly behind the mystery savior.

James gasps and drops the bow and draws his knives, using them to block the beast's claws! However, the demon may end up knocking him back into the arena.

The Boar Demoness leaps back lightly, considering her. "Your just making this harder on yourself, sweetie..." She twirls her staff, planting it in the ground. A purple beam of light flies up into the black clouds from it, being answered by a rumble. Soon afterwords a brilliant bolt of purple lightning cracks downward, striking at Ginny!

Trey chops an arm off! But that hardly seems to phaze the demon as it barrels into him, biteing and tearing into his armor with the one arm left.

The man leads Gregor through the pressing crowds, seeming to weave through them like they werent there. By standing in his wake, Gregor soon finds himself blinking in the... daylight? If he looked up, he would see the blanket of darkness only covered the Arena. His savior finally turns to him again. "Where would this Dendin be, boy?"

Indeed, the force of the demon's claws proves... forceful! James finds himself hurtling back to the sands of the Arena. The demon regards him from up in the stands, considering pouncing on him and finishing the job. But luckily for him, it clicks its jaws and turns back to savaging civilians.

She looked to be in discomfort, even pain as she drew her sword from her side, and then tried to barge Peter aside with her shoulder, emerging from behind him, using all her mental strength to fight the urges to submit, and instead attempted to impale the demoness through the stomach with her sword.

(... Oh.)

Peter groans as he gets up, apparently having hit his head as he fell. He's clutching his temple, which is bleeding.

He again raises his crossbow, aims at the demoness's head, starts the bolt glowing, then fires as accurately as he can under the circumstances; he's still quite the shot, despite being slightly delusional.

The hulking warrior, in the meanwhile, is oddly silent. The bravado that he had before seems to have vanished, replaced by an almost unnatural, frozen look of odd indifference on his face. It's almost like the demonic presence is starting to drain on his own?
Strange.
But maybe he's just getting a bit more serious--the situation certainly calls for it.
Whatever the cause, he still has his crossbow, and his finger is still on the trigger! Jerking back--which is a pity because he was about to help Jame out of a pinch probably, he fires instead at the demon coming at him, taking a step backwards as he does!

"Back! Get back, you!"

It was all well and good having a shield to protect your front, but that did little to stop the lightning. She cried out as it struck across her shoulders, the glowing ground fading instantly, her shield slumping face first into the sand, revealing the crouching Paladin as she to slumped onto her hands and knees infront of the Boar Demoness. She was out of breath, her blonde braid laying across her armoured back and then hanging against her bottom, her blue eyes lifting to look up at the creature, catching sight of Peter aiming his bow in the corner of her vision, "You think pretty lights are going to beat me?", she asked to try and keep the Boar Lady's attention.

(Sorry for late reply have been abit busy)

*Since the boar lady seems muchly distracted, he draws a knife with a solomnic seal carved upon the blade trying to drive it into the demon's back*

James got up and dusted himself off. Looking up at the crowd, he decided that he stood a better chance in the arena.

The Boar Demoness stands over Ginny, smirking. "Poor thing, to not know when you are beat-" She pauses, as a glowing crossbow bolt buries itself in her eye. Reeling, but not yet dead, she has enough life to cry out as a dagger is buried in her back. She twists away from the blade, bleeding black blood, stumbling a step or two before collapsing onto the ground. Her staff falls beside her, the amythist still glowing softly.

The goblin demon gets crossbowed via the hulking warrior! It stumbles a bit, grunting before getting its balance back and continuing to close the distance between them!

James finds himself oddly enough in a moment of peace. There are demons fighting the crowd and other warriors, but none looking at him personally.

Watching the Demoness stagger backwards from the combined efforts of Peter and Jibril, Ginny rises from her hands and knees, clutching her sword in both hands, her shield still on the ground. She began to chant beneath her breath, and once more the metal gave off a golden glow, "Who's got the advantage now, Pig?". She stepped over the fallen Boar Lady, one foot each side of chest. Gripping the sword so it's tip was facing down, she lifted the handle high up above her head, and then attempted to plunge it down through the Demoness' chest!

"Hrmmmm..."

Stepping backwards, the man fires again to slow it down before dropping his bow and grabbing for his sword!
