Ginny led her little group to the palace gate. Around them were four female paladins in her silver and gold armour, but Ginny now wore a long, sleek, silver satin dress. It had little straps over the shoulders, and loosely hugged her figure all the way down to her ankles, with a long split up the outside of each leg, with a pair of silver heels on her feet. Her pale blonde hair was held in a long ponytail with a silver ribbon, and her lips had a silver gloss to them. Her eyelids has been brushed with gold, and she had several golden necklaces hanging against the top of her chest.

The servant that had attended the arena with her wore silver too, but a robe with a golden sash, and her daughter wore a long golden dress, with short puffed sleeves, her hair braided elaborately and topped with a siilver tiara.

"We're here for dinner", smiled Ginny to the guard.

((Time skip it is!))

The bell in the clocktower strikes six, as the gates of Castle Overwatch open. The guard nods at Ginny. "Head inside... a servant will show you to the dining hall."
O Muse!
Sing in me, and through me tell the story
Of that man skilled in all the ways of contending,
A wanderer, harried for years on end...

Peter, actually deciding to be punctual for once, appears at the door. He's nicely groomed and wearing much nicer clothes. However, he opted to keep the leather padding on his chest and shoulders, although he seems to have guilded them with ornate golden plantlife on the shoulders and chest, and the head of a dragon on the chest. The overall effect is unusually eye-catching, but quite attractive. It matches his combed blond hair very well.

He walks up to the guard after Ginny (giving her a bow she likely couldn't see), grinning broadly. "Good evening to you, ser."

Ginny walked inside with her entourage, and bowed to the servant that came to greet her. "My guards will stand watch outside the dining hall, if that is acceptable", she smiled, "Emmanuelle and my daughter shall accompany me inside". It didn't sound like a request, but she still waited curiously for a response from the royal servant.

The guard looks over Ginny cooly. "Your servants and children can sup in a separate chamber. The dining hall is for those who are going into Watchwood only."

Looking to Peter. "Hello to you, ser. Head inside, a servant will guide you to the king's table."

James had been very busy leading up to this dinner. He had run around the richer part of the city, stealing fine clothes from houses, shops and even off of people. He was now wearing clothes very similar to before, but now reeking of expense.

"I'm here for the dinner."

Victor was still wearing the same white clothes from earlier, after all it's not like he had gotten dirty or exerted himself. Other then a minor blessing to remove the stench from arena he had spent the last bit of time getting information from the injured as he tended to them. He approached the gate promptly at the allotted time intending to attend the dinner.

"Thank you kindly, I will at that."

He promptly does so, walking inside and looking around for the aforementioned servant.

(Not much more I can say, really. Sorry)

Trey had left Gregor at the prestigious tavern he had rented out for the night and had stabled Abrosious for the night. His armor was stacked at the room and he was dressed in a handsome outfit, used only for courtly dinners such as tonight's. He wore a white, longsleeved shirt topped with a dark burgundy vest. His dark blue pants ended in shined black leather boots that stretched up to almost his knees. He stepped up to the guardsmen at the gate, "I'm here for the King's dinner." was all he said as he made sure once more he was presentable. Despite his disciplined fighting, he had been brought up with manners first.

Ginny was silent for a moment, and then nodded her head to the servant. Her blonde ponytail swept across her back as she turned and bent down, the long dress pooling around her as she did so, pulling the three year old girl into a warm hug and kissing her forehead, "Be good, sweetie. I love you... ".

She met the gaze of her own servant, and smiled to her as she stood upright once more. The child took Emanuelle's hand, and they headed off to the separate dining hall as Ginny turned back to the royal servant. "I'm not happy about this... ".

Servants escort everyone (including Trey after he is brought up to speed) to a large pair of double doors flanked by guards. Oddly, what seems to be freshly carved symbols cover the frame of the large set of doors, the script unreadable, but strangely familiar to anyone from Watchwood.

Meanwhile, the servant stares at Ginny blankly. "This is the King's castle, in the King's city, in the King's Kingdom. You will respect his authority, your feelings do not enter into the situation. Now... follow me."

He leads her to the same set of doors! Which open to reveal a vast dining hall! A large table is full of all kinds of sumptuous foods. There are grilled fish, roasted meat of duck, lamb, and ox. Venison steaks sit in heaps, while vegetables and salads prepared many different ways add dashes of color to the crispy golden brown haunches of meat. At the head of the table, the King sits, waiting for them. Arleigh IX is a powerfully built man, but so has it been with most of his line. His hair shows sings of silvering, decrying his age. A scar runs past one eye, one from an old conflict. The kings of Watchwood have never been ones to sit back and relax. In fact the right to succession to the throne is another way the province stands out. Instead of the normal practice of firstborn sons, if there is more than one male heir of the bloodline occasionally the right of succession can be won by the younger brother if he defeats the older in a duel. The winner taking the name Arleigh once he comes of age. So it was with the ninth. His older brother Samwell going into self exile upon defeat.

At his side, the princess Christina sits timidly. The princess's figure is well into womanhood, her beauty the talk of the kingdom. Her silky violet hair cascades down to her bewitching butt. That along with her red eyes would invite all kinds of speculation to her lineage, if the fact of her mother the queen dieing in childbirth wasnt so well known. She wears a simple blue silk dress, tailored to fit her by the king's own silkweavers. Her softness and beauty contrast sharply with the rugged features of the king, who forsakes silks and velvets for leather and chainmail, his simple golden crown and purple robe being the only symbols of office... well that and his sword. The longsword is plain at the hilt, and sheathed it seems simple enough. But it is said that with the throne, the sword of Arleigh the Red Handed passes as well, the blade permanently stained crimson red from the thousands the general of the New Empire had slain in battle.

Arleigh IX looks up as the doors open. "Ah... your here. Welcome." He gestures at the table. "Be seated if it suits you."

James examines the feast, stomach growling. His eyes then wander over to the princess, taking in her curves before he noticed her tiara.

Hmm... that would fetch a bit of money.

When the king asked them to sit, he did so halfway down the table.

Peter walks through the doors, his eyes immediately laying upon the Princess, and his smile immediately widening. He bows deeply and grandly.

"Your Majesties. Truly an honor to be here," he says before taking a seat nearest him, next to James, but nearer the royal duo. He made especially certain not to put his elbows on the table. Impressive manners, for a professional hunter and son of a blacksmith.
