[FFRP] The RP Nexus

[Ookalf]

Josh follows Karen. "So does this...changing thing happen often?" Josh asks as she looks for a place on her clothing to put her magnetometer that she still held in her hand. As she walks, she notices pockets above the hem of her top and puts it in the one on the right. She reaches into the left pocket and finds a change purse that wasn't there before, probably what her wallet had morphed into.

*Karen nods.* Yeah. Mostly with new comers, but it happens with other people sometimes, too.

(Hannah is fifteen almost sixteen so she is in 10th grade. Sorry for disappearing like I did. RL issues.)

"Really?" Josh said with a raised brow, "Hmm..." The pavement of the road feels warm yet coarse on her bare feet. As they get closer to the women's apartments, Josh sees a bunch of other houses. They almost look like a suburban complex, although most of them don't have garages. Josh also sees a lake as it shimmers in the sunlight. "So uhh...I'm guessing you came from another world too?"

*Karen shakes her head.* No, actually. My grandparents did, though.

"Ah, I see." Josh says, a bit intrigued. They near a large three story complex. "Is that the place?"

[Ookalf]

Yeah, this is it. *Karen turns back around to face Josh.* So... here we are. You wanna go in now, or, I dunno, we could find you some clothes or something? I mean, you're sort of lacking shoes, and all...

[Millinescence]

"Yeah, shoes would be good." Josh says, wiping the dust off her feet. "I guess I'll also...need to think of a new name. "

Hmm... Maybe Jane?

[Millinescence]

"Nah, I'm thinking something a bit different." Josh says as she ponders intently on a new name for herself. "Hmmm...how about Julia?"

[Ookalf]

Julia... Yeah, that's a nice name.

[Millinescence]

"Alight, I guess I'm ready for shoes now," The newly dubbed Julia said a bit apprehensively. "How far is it to the store or whatever?" Julia was never much for shopping, but she believed the sooner she had on a pair of shoes and be rid of her uncomfortably short skirt the better. However, she's still a bit nervous about the whole thing.

[Ookalf]

Well, all the big stores are in the mall. That's probably a bit far to go barefoot, though... Say, I've got a couple extra sets of shoes at home. Maybe we could stop by and grab you a pair on the way?

[Millinescence]

"Okay, that sounds good. ^^ " Julia replies with a smile. "Lead the way."

[Ookalf]

Okay, cool. Just follow me. *Karen turns south and heads for the residential area.*

[Millinescence]

Julia follows Karen. Her feet are starting to ache a little and she didn't know how much longer she would be able to walk. "Thanks so much for your hospitality Karen." Julie said.
