"Oh thanks, nya." Tabatha opens the bag and takes out the sandwich container. She takes a bite of the sandwich. Was it her, or did the fish taste unusually good? "Mmm~ ^^ "
Sally finishes her chicken nuggets and moves on to the french fries. "Karen, do you like anime?" She asks.
Julia is about done with her onion rings. She seems to be in deep thought.

[Ookalf]

"Oh thanks, nya." Tabatha opens the bag and takes out the sandwich container. She takes a bite of the sandwich. Was it her, or did the fish taste unusually good? "Mmm~ ^^ "

"Bye mister!" said Kyu as shes taken away by Sakura.

There's a small stall as the teacher gets a call. The students start to mumble to each other.

Zoey blushes. "Well you see, I took some pills to make me older so I could help a friend of mine enlist in a school. I guess the effects of the pills wore off"

"I see, could you let me see them?" asked the old lady.

Oh, well, I've watched a few.

Tabatha eats the last of her sandwich and drinks some soda before starting on her french fries as well.
"Ooo..what's your favorite?" Sally finishes her food and takes a swig of her soda. "Thanks, that was great ^^"
"Jos--Julie, you know the pillar over at Nexus Plaza?" Tabatha asks.
"Huh? What about it? Did you touch it, what did you see?"
"I saw a warning that came too late, nya." Tabatha replied. "About what this place...does to people. I saw another person change like we did, an Asian guy who became a girl that's about our age, nya...I also saw some kind of monster, a man with tentacles on his back." A pause. "And the Asian? I saw her on my way to the food court, nya..."
"Really..." Julia said, a bit surprised but intrigued.

MM: *waves cheerily at Kyu, relieved to be free of the questions* Bye!

As Tabatha, Julia and Sally eat their meal and play with their cheap plastic toys, a man stands nearby. He watches them. From time to time, his eye shifts to Sakura and Kyu. He is dressed oddly for the weather, since it's not cold enough for a hat like that. Sakura and Kyu, should they see him, will recognize him as Ray. His red eyes gleam as he surveys the girls. He doesn't put off a creepy stalker vibe on his own, but the way his red eyes seem to gleam from time to time... that's kinda creepy.
[also of note, he isn't carrying all those guns and rocket launchers]

"I'm sorry Ma'am, I can't take them out of the glass unless you make a purchase." Naru thinks for a moment, then reaches behind the glass and turns up the light on the display. "Does that help though?"

[Kumi-chan]

"You mean... Ahh dang! That makes me more depressed." Alex hangs her head moreso now seemingly. Luna mews comforting her.

[Zoey]

"What's wrong Alex?" asks Zoey confused at their reactions as the house comes into view.

The old lady nods. "How much for it, sweetie?"

[Ookalf]

"Bye mister!" said Kyu as shes taken away by Sakura.

So, Kyu. Can you think of anything else you would like?

"I know what you mean, I like many kinds of anime." Sally says as she took Chibi-Usa out of her wrapper and put her trash away in the paper bag. She tidies up everyone else's used food wrappers, putting them on the tray and gets up to throw them out.

"So..did you talk to her?" Julia asks. She takes a sip of her Mountain Dew.
"No, she was with someone, nya." Tabatha answered, shaking her head. "They were at a balloon stand. She had bluish hair and dark eyes and wore some kind of robe with cloth wrapped around the middle, nya. She had a...traditional look to her."
"Anything more you can tell me about your vision?"
"Well, what's interesting is that before I touched the pillar, I sensed this strong energy emanating from it, nya." Tabatha mused. She then proceeds to fill Julia in on the rest of what she saw.
"Hmm...okay. Did you manage to bring anything with you?"
"Well, we brought extra clothes, nya...they might not fit us anymore though. We also brought a camcorder and an assortment of Greg's equipment from our van, nya. Unfortunately, the Change destroyed one of our K7-Readers."
Julia whistled at the mention of losing such an advanced piece of equipment. "Well, we'll see what you brought later and then possibly give the Plaza a good once-over."
"Mommy...mommy look." Sally says quietly near Tabatha. "There's a strange man over there..." Sally nudges her head in the direction of the man with bright red eyes.
"Unya?" Tabatha notices the oddly-dressed man as well. "Wow...bro, just...glance behind you, nya. Check out his eyes."

"Can we visit Toshiro-kun?" asked Kyu with almost puppy dog eyes.

The teacher starts to raise his voice. "I think its his wife again..." mumbled a girl

The oddly dressed man notices the look from Tabatha. He grimaces, then rolls his unnerving eyes before approaching their little group. "I noticed you were paying special attention to that woman over there." He nods his head in the direction of Sakura and Kyu. "My name is Ray, I'm a detective with Nexus Police. Mind if I ask you what you know about her?" He flicks his wrist, producing an official badge in the flip out of a leather wallet. Oddly enough, as he returns it, he doesn't reach for a pocket. The wallet just...appears and disappears.

Naru gives the old lady the price for the ring. "Is that in your price range?"

The teacher starts to raise his voice. "I think its his wife again..." mumbled a girl

Hearing this, Harriette sighs. "Jeez. This teacher sucks. He can't even go through a class without arguing on the phone with someone..." She says, mumbling.
