[FFRP] The RP Nexus

[Ookalf]

"I'm Sally :3" She says to Ray. "And this is my mommy, Tabatha."
Tabatha raises a hand.
"And I'm...Julia."
Tabatha reached into her old wallet that's clipped to the side of her uniform and shows Ray a photo of their former selves. "That's Me...Tom, Greg, and Josh."

Oh, and I'm Karen.

[muffinstud]

"And I'm Ray, but you probably already caught that. It's a pleasure to meet you all." He looks from the photo to each of them. "Well, I know you probably don't appreciate me saying this, but you all turned out to be very pretty." He reaches over and scruffles Sally's hair a bit. "Especially you." He looks over to where Sakura and Kyu are. They're still nearby. "Do you mind if I sit down? I don't think they're going far from here, and I'm sure you'd like to ask me a few questions about this place."

[Millinescence]

Sally's hair is scruffled! She giggles. "Thank you ^^ "
"Well, we were actually planning to go to the apartments after we eat." Julia says.
"Do you mind being videotaped, nya?" Tabatha asks. "I've brought a camcorder...It happens to have us changing on there. I had a security guard watch over the stuff we brought from home when Sally and I got into the mall, nya."
The three girls take their half-finished sodas and stand from their chairs. Ray looked considerably tall, especially for Sally.

"Videotape? Um sure, I guess. I'm nothing special, really..." he blushes and goes back to rubbing the back of his neck. "But you might want to reconsider the apartments. They're more like dormitories, since a lot of the newcomers we get don't come in groups. I'd be happy to show you to some of the temporary family housing though, if you'd like to check it out." And Ray...well, he is kinda tall. Standing up, he'd be just about a head's difference taller than Julia or Tabatha.

He looks over at Karen. "Are you with them too?"

[Millinescence]

Tabatha, Sally and Julia grab their bags from the clothing store.
"Okay, thanks, nya." Tabatha grins. "It's...just an interview though, alright. ^///^; "
"So...where can we get one of these houses you're talking about?"

[muffinstud]

"Right. Well, let me take care of something real quick... You can record this if you want." Ray rolls up his sleeve to bare one of his arms. A couple lines form in the skin, and a pair of little bomb bay doors open up. Out of his arm springs a little mess of metal, which unfolds in mid-air and hovers about. Ray's own little spy camera. "Just gonna set this little guy to tail my assignment, and we're good to go. Now, the family housing is just south of the apartments. I'll take you there if you like, it's not a very far walk."

Sakura and Kyu are now being followed by a little flying camera! How non-stalkerish!

[Millinescence]

Tabatha starts to wish she didn't leave her camcorder in one of the bags the security guard is watching.
"Alright, sounds good, nya. ^^ "
"Definately, I can't wait to get home right now." Sally says. "I've been walking pretty much all day..."
"Hey Karen, are you coming with us?"

[Kumi-chan]

Alex looks around the house frowning. "Nice place." She sits on the couch looking at the TV. "want to watch something while we wait?" Luna hops onto Alex's lap.

[Ookalf]

He looks over at Karen. "Are you with them too?"

Well, sorta. I ran into Julia when she arrived, and I've sort of been showing her around.

Oh, yeah. *Karen takes one last sip from her drink, then stands up.*

The five of them head off. When they reach an area close to the mall entrance, Tabatha walks upto the security guard.
"Hey there, nya." Tabatha says to him. "Do you have our bags?"
"Ah, of course miss. They're in the security office," Says the guard, he motions to a door marked 'authorized personnel only' "Let me get them for you." He goes to the office and about a minute later comes back with two navy blue duffel bags. "Here you go, miss."
"Uhh...thank you." Her hands are a bit full with the bags from the clothing store. The clothes were light on their own, but combined with the duffel bags, it proves a bit much for the catgirl. "Br--Sis? I-I need help, nya." She sets the bags down on the tile.
"Sorry... :/" Julia says, she lifts up her bags from the clothing store. Her hands also full. "Can you take care of it, Ray?"

((I'm on pg.300 where Nora and Zoey had switched bodies lol. ^w^ This thread is almost like a good comedy/drama novel))

Alex looks around the house frowning. "Nice place." She sits on the couch looking at the TV. "want to watch something while we wait?" Luna hops onto Alex's lap.

"Sure, sounds good..." Bishop answered, not fully listening... That sluethy journalist inside her was already at work... This place must be a gold mine of stories, and she'd be the one with the camera making sure that each one was told.

[Oh, you haven't gotten to the real drama yet. And there's even more material from Kaizer, Nosnits and I playing around with characters in IRC. I'm glad you're doing your homework though. *wink*]

"I'd be glad to." Ray effortlessly hoists both of the duffels onto his shoulders, where little clamps sprout from his jacket to hold them taut and secure. "I'll take those too, if you don't mind." He reaches for Julia's bags as well. "You're probably a little tired from all this. Trust me, this is nothing." He smiles kindly at Julia and tries to pull the bags away from her.

"Well, I guess that goes without saying. It's kind of hard not to help out newcomers, in my book. Hope you don't mind me butting in like this, Karen."

Oh, no. Not at all.

[Millinescence]

Sally's eyes sparkle, clearly impressed by how much stuff Ray's able to carry.
"Wow...th-thanks, nya~!" Tabatha's eyes also sparkle as she swishes her tail. Daang, he's carrying all our bags, that must be 70-80 pounds easily!
Julia notices the two gawking at Ray. ">.>;; Uhh...Earth to Tabatha." She waves a hand in front of her eyes. "This is Julia do you read me?"
"Nya? ...what?" Tabatha mews, breaking from Ray's trance.
"You were in la-la land there, bro." Julia manages to keep better control than the rest of them. "Uhh...Ray? Can we go now?"
A sweatdrop appears on Tabatha's forehead.

Ray shrugs, even with the large weight on his shoulders. "It's nothing, really. There's a guy I know on the force who bench presses cars." He reaches down and takes Sally by the hand. He swings her up and sets her on top of the duffel bags. He's giving her a ride, and rather high up! "Anything else you ladies need before we leave?" Apparently, he doesn't notice Tabatha's gawking.
