Greg smirked, "Overseas isn't even the same Earth anymore..." he said softly, "And I guess as long as the boys haven't backstabbed you, they're a good force to stick behind..." he mentioned as Julian drove down the road. "Help is in the eye of the beholder. The boys certainly weren't helping me when they decided I was a disposable asset."

The armored boy nodded a 'you're welcome' as he looked out the window, the base closing in the distance. "We should be there within five minutes...and you boys can get some R&R."

***

Rachel quickly follows behind Alana. Soon enough, the two girls were back in the forest getting back to their vehicle. It was deadly quiet, which only heightened the sense of suspense.

***

Both superiors nodded, "It looks very cute. I think you make a better her than the old girl did." said the Hierarch. "What do YOU think of it Charlotte?" she asked after a moment of admiring her latest creation.

"Better than doing nothing. And who knows... a miracle might happen and we could win this war." He shrugs as he continues following the chopper.

Charlotte looked quite suprised at being asked what she thought of the clothes, her arms lifting from her sides, hands reaching behind her back to tug her long blonde hair behind her shoulders and away from her face. She paced back and forth across the bedroom on her bare feet, pausing infront of the mirror. It felt a little awkward to her, but she posed and turned, her fingers dropping to smooth over the skirt, and then started to poke at the vest, "Does this stop bullets?", she asked, glancing over her shoulder at the teenagers.

Greg nodded, "That's all we can hope for." By now the helicopter had made it to the base and Julian and his wayward passenger was soon approaching as well. Greg heaved a sigh, "I wonder what they'll think of me."

***

Hierarch shook her head, "Unfortunately no, but that's only an outfit. We've been able to synthesize a cloth that can easily deflect some of the electric charge from the boys bullets, keeping you concious for longer than normal...but as for bullets, that outfits not the best."

The blonde girl nodded her head, turning away from the mirror, and walking back towards the bed, still playing with the skirt, which felt far more comfortable than she knew it should have. "I... I like it... ", she replied, not entirely sure if she was saying it because it would make them pleased, or if she really was starting to like the girl's clothing beyond the very soft, comfortable cotton garments. She looked down at her bare feet and bit her bottom lip, "Where would I wear something like this?", she asked.

Julian shrugs. "I cant say... but seeing as our situation isnt exactly the best I'm sure they would be grateful for more help." He drives into the base, parking up alongside the chopper.

"I don't know about you, but I'm gonna take a nice hot bath when we arrive" said Surge as he leaned his head back unto the metal of the chopper wall.
"Let me confirm, your shelter shield is activated?"
"What are you planning?!"
"Your shelter is secure, is it?"
"Of course it is! Just see for yourself how powerless you are!"
"...Roger that."

*Up ahead Alana sees the vehicle they came here in.* "Rachel-Chan, there is our vehicle. Are you feeling up to driving or do you like want me to drive??" Alana asks as they arrive at their vehicle.

(It will be quite a while before you see me post on MSF and this topic again. I have some real life issues to deal with so I won't be on MSF for quite sometime now. See you later N8.)

((*tells them Harri-chan sent me* ^_^v))

Name: Mike Hodges
Age: 16
Height: 5'10
Eye color: Blue
Hair color: Reddish blond, short spikes.

Background: Generally, Mike's an easy-going guy who grew up in rural Wisconsin. He was one of the few kids who witnessed the disappearance of his parents first-hand. His dad was an avid hunter and usually took Mike with him, so he knows his way around firearms. After mourning the loss of his family, he stayed at his parents house until the girls amassed their army! For quite a time since then, he survived on his own with his dad's trusty old Field Master .22 and a butcher knife from the kitchen. He joined the Boy's Army in the hopes of ending the madness that has befallen the world. Mike is a trooper, and quite brave. Yet ironically, he has arachnophobia and sometimes gets teased for it.

Mike bolts awake from a nightmare and gasps for air! "Oh man that's the third time this week!" He looks at the time and then gets out of bed, getting dressed in his camouflaged outfit and gear before reporting for duty.

Greg nodded, "Indeed." he said quickly as they pulled up to the boy's base. It wasn't as defended as the girl's, a jury-rigged warehouse that hadn't been completely boarded up. The fence had been put up recently but no guard towers were under construction. It was obvious that this was a new base...most likely filled with those boys who'd evacuated the earlier base.

The helicopter touched down near the warehouse-turned-base and they pilot and the few boys in the helicopter began to get out, congratulating each other on a successful recon. Surge was quickly escorted from the helicopter and taken into the base, "Well you deserve it from your story."

***
(Sad to see you go Lavender. Hope you come back)
Rachel hopped into the passenger seat and sighed, "I'm feeling under the weather." She quickly buckled her seatbelt and got comfortable.

***

None of the boys followed Chris as he left. The mech looked like it could easily take down a platoon of boys let alone Chris alone...perhaps the boys didn't know of this new innovation of the girls...

***

The Hierarch smiled, "That's actually the uniform for emergencies. In sudden attacks, there's not much time to gear up in heavier or more armored uniforms, so in the first hours, all the girls who are otherwise off duty get into those so we can tell who they are should any conflict reach the base." she explained. "I'm glad you like it, but there are several more uniforms in that closet." she said gesturing, "Go ahead, grab one hanger from the back rack, I believe each uniform hung separately."

***
(Welcome Millinescence! Glad you could join the fight!)
It had been tiresome, Mike's dreams. Images of the cloaked men in black storming through the house while he and his parents were up late watching movies. He could still see perfectly his dad, quick as lightning, taking one of the invaders down before another was on top of him, the yell from his dad as the fiendish syringe dipped into his spinal column still echoed in Mike's memory. His mother soon succumbed to the force of the other mystery troopers. The deepest rooted feeling Mike was haunted by though, was the quavering fear he felt that night as his parents were hauled away, a single trooper had a rather intricate-looking rifle held to his head while they were. The assailant's face had been masked with night-vision headgear, glowing red lenses covered his face...almost like a spider's, which alone held Mike frozen. He remembered the debate between the soldiers, whether to take the boy as he was a witness. The answer still resonated in his mind, "No. Orders from High Up say to take all people above 19 and below 11. No others." the demand was swift and the soldier obeyed. Nothing but blackness greeted Mike as the rifle butt collided with his head. That was when the dream would end...
(All right. You have a choice. You can pick from several bases: Where the main group is, where Chris is headed, or a new base where you can start your own adventure! Choose wisely, young one.)

Charlotte seemed to be getting a little tired as she looked up at the teenagers. She climbed down from the bed again. She knew the Hierarch had only made a suggestion, and it was her own mind that took it to be an order. Down came her skirt, followed by the vest and the blouse, each one being set on the bed once she was left in just her white cotton panties again. Her blue eyes glanced over at the closet, before lowering a little as she approached it, looking for the first uniform her gaze would come across...

After putting on his uniform and gear, Mike got out of the barracks of the base and falls in with the main group. "Mike Hodges reporting for duty, sir." He says, saluting his commanding officer. Mike was a new recruit, and didn't know much about the military aside from what he's seen on TV.

Julian looks around. "Huh... not very well defended... be a shame to have survived all of that to get attacked now... maybe I am expecting the worst." He looks at Greg. "Anyway... shall we? I'm sure they are anxious to meet you... whoever is in charge of this warehouse."
