Peter seems to have fainted upon seeing the two kissing. His need of a horse is evident all the same.

Victor gets up to leave wondering if he should contact the local bishop for additional information before going. Before leaving though it would be rude to dismiss a gift from royalty even if it wasn't needed, as such he approached to take one of the charms bowing to the royalty before taking one he spoke in his light voice "Thank you, your Eminence, I'll be heading off then."

After taking the amulet while noting the side gaunts of his 'companions' he had no real interest in there choices or affairs, the places with the largest enemies usually would hold the most answers thus it was where he would go. He pocketed the amulet making note to study it later for additional information.

James looked quite surprised at the Paladin's sudden gesture. Shaking his head, he stepped out of the dining room and thought about his weapons. His knives were chipped and his bow was worn.

If he was going to survive this, he needed better weapons.

He approached a guard and asked, "Which way to the armory?"

Trey quickly stood up and took the pendant, eyeing its detail. He worried for only a moment if it were nature magic...but surely the king would have forsaken such trinkets and hocus pocus for the Good word. "Thank you Your Majesty. Where was your son heading towards?" he asked quickly as he made his way to the obsidian daggers, bowing graciously before the beautiful princess, "Thank you Milady." he reached for her hand to kiss it once before retrieving the blessing she offered.

The king nods. "I wish you luck... farewell."

The guard smirks slightly. "Near the barracks. Come, I will show you." With that, and asuming he follows, they soon find themselves in the armory! Racks of swords, bows, lances, spears, and armor lie neatly laid out along the walls. They all seem to be of quality... though the older ones seem to be more ornamented.

Arleigh sighs. "He followed his sister's advice... and left for Wraith Glen..."

The princess smiles as she allows her hand to be kissed by the gallant paladin. "Surely he is still there, even now working towards eradicating the darkness... I'm sure he could use your assistance, brave Paladin."

The king sighs. "Take him to the stables..." A guard hoists him over his shoulder, hauling him away!

James does indeed follow the guard and looks around.

"So what's the deal with the more ornamented weapons? Are they better or just prettier?"

"Both." Says the guard. "Some of the older pieces date all the way back to the Unification War. They were the tools that forged the New Empire." he says, running a hand along the elegantly inscribed blade of a longsword. "Then there were the more recent ones... made with the secrets of..." He pauses. "I mean with smithing secrets developed by towns in the deep forests. They fell out with the Soul Killer Knights... and now we just have plain, sturdy, Empire-regulated pieces of weapons."

"I see..."

James takes a standard small bow and a quiver of arrows, slinging them over his back. He also takes four knives, two standard ones and two of the older, fancier ones.

"The old and the new... thanks for the help." he says as he leaves the armory.

Having said her goodbyes to her daughter, and aquirred a horse, Ginny rode through the streets, returning to the inn her party was staying at. When she emerged, she wore golden armour that gleaned in the moonlight, her giant shiel across her back, and sword ar her side. What's more, she had another young woman with her, that her fiery red curls that ran down her back, dressed in a golden satin robe.

Ginny climbed onto the horse first, offering her hand to help the other woman up behind her, "We'll make quick work of this, Nev. It will be just like the old times, Ginevra and Nevrina together again, we'll obliterate them!", she called as she urged the horse forward, the clapping of it's hooves filling the night sky as they rode from the city.

"Uh, huh... try not to die, now."

He leaves the armory! Where will he head now?

They ride out from the city! Many citizens and farmers waving at them as they pass. The road leads to a crossroads! Pointing in various directions.

Victor looked at the road ahead, having brought his own steed the pitch black horse contrasting his pure white robes greatly. "Hmmm I believe he said Underbough went silent already" he pondered out loud to himself "Sooner the darkness is dealt with I guess..." Thus he trot forth towards the left.

Trey bowed once again as everyone was leaving and made his way to the room in which Gregor was. He had little time to dally and he and Gregor would soon need to be on the road. He worried a little though for his squire...perhaps this quest was too difficult to bring him along. But with no guardian to leave him with, Sir Dendin would just need to make sure that nothing happened to the boy. As he showed up, he called out to Gregor to get ready to be on the road, despite the fact it was still dusk. "We ride hard for Wraith Glen!" he shouted as he made his way to the stable for Ambrosious.

Gregor groggily ground his fists into his eyes. He was hoping for one good night's sleep before the quest. He'd had a lot on his mind and he was still conflicted. Nature magic wasn't so ugly in his eyes now...and the power the old man held was impressive. He imagined himself for a moment one of those mighty warriors, perhaps combining his swordplay with the mystical spirt energy the man wielded. He began to get ready and all the packed belongings were soon carried out to the stable.

After saddling up, the two were off into the setting sun.

Meanwhile! A certain RPer did not forget about this topic at all, nosiree!

After what seems like several weeks...Onín Finzaro finally shrugs his shoulder and pushes his chair back, standing up from the table.

"I believe that is the end of my business here."

Not waiting for a reply, though leaving time for one, he makes a show of confidently striding out the door, out towards the stables.

The guard chuckles. "You passed it on the way here. To the left of the gate, made of wood... smells of horse."

The way left it is! It is still a ways before he gets out of the giant clearing that is Overwatch. As he passes through the farmers and commonfolk, he gets quite a bit of attention. But most of it is curiosity... One particularly rugged man who looks like a ranger chuckles. "Best be careful, boy... Tha Watchwoods dont take kindly to priests. Yer god ends as the forest begins, an tha spirits reign under tha boughs..." Up ahead, the path leads him to a tunnel carved into the forest...

Their way takes them towards Fenguard... a seldom used road to a bleak fortress town set on the edge of Wraith Glen. As they leave Overwatch Clearing, many commoners cheer them on, offering food gifts and wishing them good luck. Only the surly rangers, marking him as a Paladin, scowl as he passes. The Rangers of Watchwood were always known to be strong believers in the spirits and 'devils' that haunt the forests.

The road to Fenguard is a long and dark one, and the sun begins setting while still on the trail. Will they camp? Or ride through the night on the dark road...

He soon finds them! Horses of all colors, breeds, and sizes fill the stables! A stablehand glances over. ""ello there... whatcha be needin. 'ero?"
