[FFRP] New Maid Cafe in Muffinville

[Maiden Miki]

Angelica shrugs again. "For the most part, they customers are nice and friendly. Some are a bit pervy but not harmful. So are... a little more aggressive. If someone bothers you, let one of us know. We'll deal with it. Okay?"

Mikilla finds her balance oddly altered by the cute heels she's wearing.

"Okay. I guess that is fair. I mean I don't want to be handle like I am some sort of piece of meat," said Mikilla who was feeling a bit better. She seem to have gotten the hand of curtsies even though she had no idea that she was showing off her panties the whole time. SHe was still getting use to the balance as she guess that was because of the heels. They may be short but still it was some getting use to.

"Do we have something that isn't heels? I mean it is kind of hard to keep my balance you know," said Mikilla in her melodic voice. "Also are skirts suppose to feel this...breezy?"

[Stray-chan]

"I think all the new girls should start in heels, to get used to them. It becomes second nature." She gestures to her own three-inch heeled boots. "You never know when a special job might require them. And you'll probably have to get used to platform boots with heels, too, being a singer. But you can cross that bridge when you come to it!" Angelica grins. "And yes, skirts are quite breezy, especially when you're not used to them. You don't have leggings or full length stockings or anything like that, so it's not surprising at all."

"Oh. Okay," said Mikilla as she looks down at her shoes and try to think of them being higher. She was wondering if that was possible but Mikilla has seen girls wear heels like those before. She tries to pull down on the skirt but found it hard to do since it was a one piece outfit. "Still I guess that makes sense. The skirt and heels thing. Still why was I hire to sing too? I never done anything like that. I mean that is why I am a writer. I don't have to do anything in front of people."

Angelica gives Mikilla a serious look. "Proper style is very important here, as is having a special talent of some kind. It's what keeps us ahead of the competition." She relaxes, smiling again. "Miss Miku must have thought you'd make a good singer. That's the special service you can be hired for. Remember, we all can be hired out by clients who want our special talents. And we get full pay for it, too. You certainly have a wonderful voice. I'm sure you'll do fine, wherever you're hired to sing at. Any other questions or comments?"

Mikilla could see the look on Angelica's face as she notice the change of tone. APparently the maid cafe business was a serious one.

"Oh okay. The thing is I never really have sang before. Well never with a good voice like this or anything." said Mikilla who was showing some of her low self esteem. "NObody really have told me I had a good singing voice so it not that good I guess. I am a good writer though. I think. Still if I get paid then that is good. ANy money is good right now."

Mikilla tried to think of anything else and was wondering if she could really do this. She only had plans to be here as long as it took for her to get publish but maybe this could be used to her advantage until then. SHe then looked at Angelica and said, "As in singing. Do you guys have songs or do you mind if I could maybe give it a try and write some of my own songs? Or how will I be able to sing here?"

Suddenly, Angelica's cell phone rang. "Just a sec." She answers, listens to the speaker on the other side, saying "Yes," "Of course," and "Right away" several times. After a couple minutes, she hangs up. "Okay, so, I've got more new girls coming in soon, so you need to get on the floor. At least, you would, if the bosses didn't want you on stage and showing off your voice. But yes, we do have music for you, but you are more than welcome to write your own it you like! We could provide musical backing if all you can do is the lyrics." She scrathes the back of her head. "But yeah, you need to get going and get on stage; it's out in the main cafe area. Everything is set up for you, though, so uh, break a leg. Oh, and you really do have a lovely voice, don't worry about that!" She gestures to a door, presumably leading to the main cafe area.

((Kris, Lee is accepted, go ahead and have him coe to the cafe for a "Audition"...Jamie is infor a bit of a surprise to se his Sempai arive though...hehe))

"Sei-chan, how does your clan head feel about your working im our establishment. I know of the manorhouse heads ah ...unique ... talents. You might be required to use a modification of those talents you possess occationaly. If you can handle that, I would like to have you start tonight for a theme party we have a request for, the rate is higher than a normal trainee would get, but it will give you a tidy start if you accept." Mai says, looking thru the boys papers.

Jamie re enters the front area to bring Ken in and give the addional questions to Rein...

Chris is laid back against the chair at a booth. His ankle was crossed over a knee and his arms were spread out over the back of the chair. He tapped his foot as he saw a couple of people go into the back auditioning room and felt the anxiety that he might not get this job setting in. They might run out of job openings before they get to him if they hire too many people... He grumbles and starts to hum a song to himself and shoot glances at some of the maids serving tables here and there. He couldn't help but glance at their back sides and legs as they walked.
He looks back up at the ceiling and closes his eyes, continuing to hum "Skylo".

Ken feels the nervousness grip his stomach, but does his best not to show it as he nods... getting up and nodding to Jamie, then heading to the room with Mai!

Don' they lookcute intheir work outfits" Jamie wavewaves at the pair of maids coming in to the main area before she opens the door to the auditions...

Angelica waves back and hurries over to Jamie. "Hey kid. Just got word a new hire needs a costume. You know where she is?" Then she nods to Ken. "Oh, and good luck. Ms. Mai is a sweet person, just... don't piss her off."

"Still in hereI think, she Ms. Mai must need her ready early for something if she has you out here looking for her already" Jamie says as they enter the performace room

"I got a call from the higher-ups." Angelica shrugs. "Who knows? I think we just might really need the staff, considering half of us are dealing with new people instead of running the place..."

Eli noticed others show up and others get up to be interviewed. He shrugged and took out a piece of paper and busied himself with folding it up in different ways to pass the time till it was his turn.
