[FFRP] New Maid Cafe in Muffinville

Meanwhile, Lee Akuno, a classmate of James, enters the establishment, wondering where James spends his time away from school. He takes a seat in the lobby area, waiting on someone to talk to.

Suddenly, Angelica's cell phone rang. "Just a sec." She answers, listens to the speaker on the other side, saying "Yes," "Of course," and "Right away" several times. After a couple minutes, she hangs up. "Okay, so, I've got more new girls coming in soon, so you need to get on the floor. At least, you would, if the bosses didn't want you on stage and showing off your voice. But yes, we do have music for you, but you are more than welcome to write your own it you like! We could provide musical backing if all you can do is the lyrics." She scrathes the back of her head. "But yeah, you need to get going and get on stage; it's out in the main cafe area. Everything is set up for you, though, so uh, break a leg. Oh, and you really do have a lovely voice, don't worry about that!" She gestures to a door, presumably leading to the main cafe area.

Mikilla just listen to the conversation that was happening over the phone. It sounded urgent and as if there was something big happen. She guess so since apparently they can turn full grown men into petite women.

"Oh so I am mostly a singer?" asked Mikilla who was mostly relief that she didn't have to serve people that often. It kind of still made her fearful that she may have to deal with pervy men who only wanted to do anything for a squeeze. Still Mikilla was glad that she would get the chance to write music. She didn't know much about writing it but maybe she could give it a try. Music writing is still writing so it could work out. It would look good on her resume at least.

"Umm...thanks," said Mikilla kind of nervously. She guess her voice sounded nice. "I guess I give it a try. Thank you Angelica."

Mikilla then curstie a bit and unknowing showered her white panties while bowing her head with closed eyes.

Jamie whispers to Ken as they go into the room..."Don't worry, Ms. Mai is in a playful mood today, I think she enjoys making the boys nervous about auditions...>giggle<...oh look there are Angelica and Mikilla. Don' they lookcute intheir work outfits" Jamie wavewaves at the pair of maids coming in to the main area before she opens the door to the auditions...

Mikilla saw the wave from Jamie and wonder if she knew what was going on here and had any idea about what happen to her. She blushed a little at her compliment and waved back. She then nodded and made her way towards the doorway that lead to the main cafe area.

"Sei-chan, how does your clan head feel about your working im our establishment. I know of the manorhouse heads ah ...unique ... talents. You might be required to use a modification of those talents you possess occationaly. If you can handle that, I would like to have you start tonight for a theme party we have a request for, the rate is higher than a normal trainee would get, but it will give you a tidy start if you accept." Mai says, looking thru the boys papers.

Jamie re enters the front area to bring Ken in and give the addional questions to Rein...

"I don't think my aunt would have too much of a problem with it." Seikichi answered, thinking about it. "And I don't mind if I have to use modifications, and I think I could handle it." Seikichi answered with a smile. "So I'll accept."

Angelica patted the singer on the head. "Good girl. And while you probably won't be mostly a singer, you will be doing less serving than anyone else, so at least there's that. Now get in there and on the stage, give the audience a nice curtsy and introduce yourself, say something about being excited about being able to make them happy, blah blah blah. You know, just get up there and be cute. It's a karaoke setup, so when you're read to sing, just hit the go button. I think that's everything, break a leg!"

Mikilla saw the wave from Jamie and wonder if she knew what was going on here and had any idea about what happen to her. She blushed a little at her compliment and waved back. She then nodded and made her way towards the doorway that lead to the main cafe area.

She emerges thorough the door, which is marked "Employees Only" on the cafe side, and into the main cafe area. It's rather busy, with more than half of the tables occupied and several girls in maid costumes running around serving. Across the room on the same wall as the door is a lit stage with a microphone and some speakers plugged into a karaoke box. As she crosses the room to get to the stage, Mikilla notices that some members of the mostly-male crowd are looking her over and breaking into grins, or elbowing their friends and pointing her out. Maybe it's the way her heels are making her swing her hips, which definitely feels different from the way she's used to walking. She reaches the foot of stage with no more than a few pleased looks being thrown her way, though.

"I don't think my aunt would have too much of a problem with it." Seikichi answered, thinking about it. "And I don't mind if I have to use modifications, and I think I could handle it." Seikichi answered with a smile. "So I'll accept."

Mai nods, and summons Angelica into the room, handing the clipboard with the boy's papers on it to the gothy maid, who glances over them. "So get Sei-chan here in costume for that themed thing? Right away boss! You," she grabs Seikichi by the arm and pulls him toward the costume room, "need to get ready for your first gig while Ms. Mai does another interview." She looks at the papers again. "Hmm, your outfit for tonight is pretty much laid out, though... any preferences on shoes?" She pulls the boy into the costume room and starts rummaging through it.

"I try to," said Mikilla in a whisper as Angelica patted her head. She was already on her way to the stage. She was feeling nervous about this being her first performance ever and was surprise it was this soon. She could feel the stares coming from the men in the audience and wonder what they were talking about. It was awkward enough to feel her hips sway due to the heels she was wearing. Mikilla could only guess what they were thinking but then again she didn't have to try too hard since she is one of them or something like that.

Mikilla finally made it to the stage and could see the pleased looks on some of the people's faces. She tried not to look at them but it was hard when most of them were staring at her. Mikilla tried to remember all that Angelica told her. She whispered to herself, "Stage. Nice curtsy. Introduce. Umm...Here I go."

Mikilla then grabbed the mike and with her right hand and just looks at the stage. She then did her curtsy and like all times before revealed her cotton white panties. Mikilla just bowed her head with closed eyes and a nervous smile. She then got back up and looked at the stage.

"Hel-hello. My name is Mikilla and I am going to sing to you all. I am very excited to be about to sing to for the first time. I hope that I can make you happy and that you are all enjoying yourself here at our Maid Cafe. Th-th-thank you." said Mikilla in a melodic as she took a few deep breaths and tried to look at the machine hoping it will show what song she needed to sing or if she had to put the song in herself.

Mikilla could hear the reaction to her curtsy and wonder if it was really something to be excited about. Maybe it was her introduction. Angelica did mention that some guys did like shy girls and MIkilla guess her nervous were being pushed as shyness. Mikill couldn't see the crowd but she guess they were expecting her to sing.

Mikilla just looked at the machine and wasn't sure what to do. The song that was on there she didn't recognize but guess it was worth trying. It was like a karaoke machine so all she has to do is read the words. Mikilla took a deep breath and said into the mic, "Enjoy."

With that Mikill press the green go button.

Mikilla could hear the song start up and could hear that it had a fast beat. She wasn't sure if she could sing it. IF it was slow then it would help her out but she knew that she would have to sing fast to keep up with the beat.

Mikilla took a few deep breaths and then raised the mic to her mouth as she stood there for a bit. The words soon began to play as Mikilla read them outloud.

"Make the stars dance in the center of the world~" started off Mikilla. Her voice was soft due to her nerves and she kind of was surprise at how fast the text was moving. She countinued on her song at the soft pace but it was still fast. Her voice was nice and seem to flow well. She kept this up till about the first minute and half. Mikilla was hoping they were liking the song so far.

As Jamie goes out to get Kenny and hand Rein a survey type questionnaire about past life and work experiences...some of the questions are a bit embarrassing as they are more feminine in their points...she sees Lee from school and panics, moving as quickly as she can, she catches Angelica as she exits the Cafe area..."Angelica...can you do me a favor and take Ken in and see what that boy Lee wants, He goes to my school and I dont want him to recognize me yet if he is here for a job. I'll go sing with Mikilla and help her for a bit to get use to the set up, OK?" and she darts off to the stage with Mikilla to sing the Ranka part of the LION song

Mikilla was gong to sing one part but saw that somebody else was coming along. She wasn't sure what to do. Mikilla was wondering if she was doing a bad job. It kind of made her fell bad but could feel the song beginning to pick up speed and at once began to sing louder as the song sped up. It was still melodic and soft but at a higher volume. Mikilla didn't want to look bad on her first day on the job.

When Ken walks into the audition room, Mai nods to him and smiles slightly. "Have a seat, Ken is it?" She takes his application and looks it over. "Now tell me, why do you want to work at our cafe? What sort of talents would you bring to us? And can you handle the pressure of working in the cafe, and the fulfilling off any possibly... odd... requests customers and clients might have?"

When Ken walks into the audition room, Mai nods to him and smiles slightly. "Have a seat, Ken is it?" She takes his application and looks it over. "Now tell me, why do you want to work at our cafe? What sort of talents would you bring to us?"

"Right... um... I'm good at cooking. I just graduated high school and want to go to cooking school, but I dont have the money for it. So I was hoping I could get a job here and maybe do some cooking while earning money to go to school."

"I'm not a bad cook. My family all cooks, and I'm good at it... I just need a degree or no one serious would accept me..." He fidgets a bit, then continues. "Anyway, um... I can also sing. I was in a choir at my church... I was a tenor. I kinda dropped out when my voice changed. Singing hurt, and by the time I became used to a baritone I didnt feel comfortable going back... it had moved on without me. I can also dance, I took some lessons, but never tried it infront of a crowd... And I would be willing to learn if you had something besides those things that needed to be done. If you would have me, just tell me what you needed done and I would do it..."

Mai smiles and makes some notes on his sheet. "Very good, very good... Especially the cooking. So, if we hire you, you'll spend some time cooking, and some time serving, and maybe even a little time singing. You might also be assigned to some jobs outside the cafe, probably as a cook. You don't have to do them, but the pay is the same and the tips are almost always better. So, are you interested in a position?"
