Ken nods. "Yeah... I could do that... that sounds great! Are you saying you will hire me...?"

He looks relieved, and secretly is happy they are more interested in his cooking skills than the other stuff. He was more comfortable with cooking... you knew where you stood, there.

[Stray-chan]

"Yes, yes I am." Mai hands the clipboard to Ken. "Now go to the costume room," she points to a door, "and give this to Angelica. She'll get you a costume and you can start immediately! She's the pale busty goth looking one with the low cut dress, by the way. Oh, and because of our popularity and the... type of fans we sometimes attract, you'll have performing name here at the cafe, to protect your identity. Better to be safe than invite disaster. So, welcome aboard Kandi, and I look forward to tasting your food and hearing your voice!" With that, she brushes past him and to the door he came through.

She opens the door up and calls into the waiting room "Next is... whoever can put their application in my hand first!" She holds out her hand, waiting.

rein blinks looking at these new questions nervous as some felt more feminine writing down awnsers about having to live with mostly females and not really ever having many males in his life and past work experiences writing nothing down except helping out around various places never having a set job

Lee looks over at Jaime and then at the questionaire, and studies it intently, looking at the different questions it offered. Some of the questions he deemed "feminine" in nature, and so he tried to answer them to the best of his knowledge. He finishes and gives his clipboard and finished questionaire to Jaime..."Do I know you from somewhere? Do you go to my school?"

Upon hearing her, Chris stands up and runs to hand her the application. "Here ya go!", he says excitedly. Maybe he can get a job after all.

Ken nods as he is given instructions, smiling that this was so easy. That smile fades as she says he will be going under the name 'Kandi' and wearing a costume... But before he can say anything, she brushes past him and goes to the door!

He looks back at her... hesitating for a moment... then half shrugs and turns away, walking to the door Mai had pointed out and going through it. He didnt want to mess up the job he had just gotten...

"Excellent." Mai looks over his application. "Come in and have a seat." She goes back into the audition room and sits in her interview chair.

"So, tell me Chris, what are your interests? What special talents do you have that would be useful here in the cafe, or as a special service we could offer?"

The costume room is quite cluttered, fairly disorganized and filled with, as expected, costumes or various kinds. Mostly maid costumes, but there are others in evidence as well. On the other side of the room is a pale busty woman in a low-cut maid dress pushing someone into a dressing room. She turns and hurries about, grabbing pieces of clothing as she goes. She doesn't seem to notice him.

Lee looks over at Jaime and then at the questionaire, and studies it intently, looking at the different questions it offered. Ken walks over to the pale, busty woman. "Angelica?" He asks hesitantly. "I'm supposed to give this to you, I think..." He holds up the clipboard.

[Stray-chan]

She whips around and grabs the clipboard, quickly reading it. "Uh huh... Yup, I'm Angelica, nice to meet you, Kandi!" She beams. Her teeth seem kind of pointy, and her eyes an odd red color. "So, cooking, serving and singing, hmm?" She gestures and mutters something, and a tape measure leaps off a nearby table and being to measure Ken on its own. "So, Kandi, any style preference on your costume?"

"Err... I dont know... Something I can cook in? It should probably have an apron at least..."

He looks at the tape measure measuring him on its own. "... your magic?" Magic wasnt unknown in the Muffin lands... but Ken hadnt really encountered any before now.

[Stray-chan]

"I have an... eclectic skill set. But yeah, magic is in there. It's fun, too!" The tape continues to measure as Angelica takes notes. "Most of our costumes do include an apron, but I'll make sure you get a nice one. Hmm..." She looks around the room, thinking. "Any preferences for shoes, then?"

[Knight Errant]

Ken thinks... "Um... just cooking, singing, and serving... I dont think it matters what kind of shoes I wear. So... whatever you think looks best, I guess..."

After a pause. "They should be black or a dark color, though. In case of sauce spills... white shoes dont do to well in kitchens, and aprons are easier to change than shoes."

[Stray-chan]

Angelica beams. "What ever I think looks best? Ooh, you're in for a... let's call it a treat!" she giggles. The tape stops measuring and, with a flicking gesture, Angelica sends it sailing back to the nearby table. She goes over to a rack of clothes, digs around for a moment, and pulls something out. Said something is a long-sleeved, puffy-shouldered, somewhat frilly black and white maid outfit with what looks to be a very short skirt. "You go and get that on in one of the open dressing rooms, I'll round up the rest of your outfit. If you need any help, don't hesitate to ask!" With that, she moves about the room, looking for and grabbing specific objects.

Ken remains where he was, holding the... maid outfit. He looks down at it, then back up. "I'm supposed to wear... this?" He wonders if this is a joke or something... "Your not just teasing the new employee, are you..."

[Stray-chan]

As Ken takes the costume, a weird sensation runs through him. Odd.

"Yeah, you are," Angelica calls back to him. "This is a Maid Cafe. What did you expect?"
