Finally she turns and heads out, looking for the door to the main cafe area.

Angelica gives her a little round of applause at the curtsy. The door to the main cafe area becomes apparent enough when another maid comes through it, letting in the noise of the cafe. She spys Kandi and hurries over to her. "You're one of the new girls, right? Thank goodness, I need a break and we're still rushed from lunch. Get out there and do some table waiting. We don't have a hostess at the moment, so keep an eye on the door and greet, seat and serve the first group that comes in." She pushes a pad of paper and a pen into Kandi's hands. "You might need to help cook too. If you'll excuse me, I need a stiff drink." Before Kandi can respond, the other maid has hurried away.

Kandi blinks, everything the other girl says going by rapidly. Tapping the pen against the pad, she runs it over in her mind again... wait tables, and watch the door for new arrivals. Simple enough...

Taking a deep breath, she heads through the door and out into the cafe!

The cafe is quite busy, though the section by the stage is focused on the cute maid up there singing at the moment. The door is on the opposite end of the room, past all the tables. There's a hostess podium by it.

Kandi takes all the requests, writing them down briefly. She is polite and smiling, even giving a curtsy or two. She pauses as she is stopped by the girl. "Why do I feel this one is planning something..." But it wasnt her place to question why someone was here, it was her job to serve them. "Yes miss, right away." She answers, curtsying to the young girl. She then heads into the kitchens!
