The wings seem to be fully functional, just very butterfly-ish and pink

"GAH! Steve!" Dave cries out as he just now notices his friend getting grabbed by the tree. He looks behind him and notices the butterfly wings. "I...have wings? What the--Urk." He grunts as a pressure builds in his chest now. Dave finds himself able to move and flap his new wings. "I'm coming Steve!" He focuses intently on his wings and manages to fly up after Steven. He pulls on his arm trying to free his friend from the possessed tree!

For a moment Steven is dumbfounded by the sudden appearance of two decidedly girly butterfly wings on his new acquaintance. He doesn't have much time to dwell on that, however, as, with another lurch, the tree pulled him ever closer. He could feel a strange energy building up within him, permeating his very being. Fantastic, he thought bitterly as he managed to pull a fist away from the snarls - which he then used to attempt to pummel the other ones into submission. For all I know I'm about to grow butterfly wings - and then be eaten by a magic tree. Not my kind of morning.

(well since this seems to be a pretty easy going roleplay topic with little rules..I'll join. ^_^)

A man named James(age 22) woke from a slumber next to two women, all under a blanket and wearing underwear and such. James looks around curiously, rubbing his eyes. "Man..what's going on here? Did I get drunk or something last night..? Who's making that racket?!" He cries out at the end, sweeping his gaze over to where the others are before his eyes bug out, was that tree ATTACKING that person?!

(if anybody wants to control the other women go ahead, if not I will)

As Dave struggles against the overly friendly plant, trying to help Steven, the strange feeling in his chest flows about his body. He can feel his body shifting rather significantly. He promptly becomes rather delicate in appearence, body thinning for the most part. He seems to be developing slight curves to his body. Another more intense wave washes over him and his body swiftly changes further, leaving him a girl. http://gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=746947

As Steven pounds on the violent vegatation, the feeling building up inside him, suddenly explodes. Power floods him, as his body grows. His neck lengthens, wings sprout from his back, claws form on his hands as his face extends. In the spand of three seconds he's become a mighty dragon that towers over the tree that had been assaulting him, easily twice it's size now. http://flashelectron.deviantart.com/art/The-Dragon-16934851

While the feeling inside Richard may be destracting, the dragon that seemed to burst from a small forest in the valley over shadowed that significantly

For James, the new dragon's tail was more of a concern, as it whipped about in Steven's confusion

As Cameron moved towards her, he could sense she was very confused, but he could also tell he was losing his ability to speak. The link between them seemed strong enough to camunicate through.

James cried out in surprise and threw himself to the ground, trying to grab/wake the women with him and roll down the slope away from the sudden dragon, probably surprising the now wakened(I assume) due to the dragon thrashing about.

Dave finds himself screaming rather girlishly at the sudden changes of both her and her friend. She quickly lets go of Steven's rather huge, clawed, scaly hand! "Th-this is a nightmare! O.O" Dave the faerie gulps as she looks up at the huge dragon that doesn't even look like Steve at all. "Wake up, wake uuup~!" She slaps her cheeks and pinches herself, but she just can't wake up...because she's already awake!

Suddenly, every fiber of Steven's being pulsed with an otherworldly power. Instantly, the beast that he had become leveled half of the grove of trees with a swipe of his mighty tail. Oops, he bellowed - or rather, tried to. Instead, he seemed to project his thoughts throughout the grove, his telepathy accompanied by an apologetic bellow from deep within his throat. He quickly cast his gaze below him, his long, sinewy neck swiveling to get a better grip on his surroundings. It took him a few moments to register the bizarre turn of events. His eyes locked on the faerie, once the 18-year-old that had been trying to save him from the (now very, very dead) possessed tree. Well, he mused mentally, not aware that his surface thoughts were being projected outward for all to hear, I suppose it could be worse. I could be a girl dragon. He let out a hearty chuckle - which, to Steven's surprise, was accompanied by a belch of white-hot flame that threatened to singe the tops of the trees he hadn't destroyed. Awkward...

Dave was surprised to find that she can somehow read his thoughts. "Y-yeah, at least there are no knights arou--EEEK!" She flies as hard as she can to one side and quickly dodges the fireball! Scared, she latches on to the side of the dragon's long neck. "Watch where you're aiming that thing!! >.<"

Right. My bad. If a dragon could grin sheepishly, then that's what Steven was doing. Soooo... I'm a dragon... And you're a girly... Butterfly... Thing... And I'm at least 80-percent sure that I'm not tripping. His eyes surveyed the horizon again - the wind created by the movement of his trunklike neck threatening to throw Dave off of him. I can't exactly go back to Chicago as something that doesn't exist, now can I...? He paused for a moment, his massive wings slowly moving up and down, seemingly of their own accord. Suddenly, a thought came to Steven. I wonder... He beat his massive, serpentine wings experimentally - once, twice, three times - before, with one grandiose motion, lifting off of the ground, slowly rising above what remained of the forest around him - with what was almost certainly a terrified Dave clinging to his neck for dear life. Cool.

Dave nods in agreement of them not being able to go back home. Stephen was worse off, if he went to Chicago, Dave was sure they'll simply send in the tanks and fighter jets. The faerie hangs on tight as Stephen looks around, suddenly feeling rather girlish despite herself as she tries not to scream. She looks around as the dragon flaps his wings. "Oh no...Oh NUUUhaaaAHHH~~!!" Screams an indeed terrified Dave. She holds on even tighter, Stephen's huge scales make for excellent hand and footholds. For Dave, it was like being on an intense and potentially deadly roller-coaster ride as Stephen flies at speeds faster than even her butterfly wings could manage!

While Dave was certainly terrified at the entire situation, Steven was overwhelmed by the exhilarating sensation of flight. With a thought, he whisked himself (as well as his somewhat-willing passenger) further into the sky, soaring above the horizon. Okay, I'm not gonna lie, he laughed, This is pretty awesome! With a bellow of excitement that rang throughout the valley, he began to soar forwards, doing all sorts of incredible acrobatic maneuvers. Any time Dave would be in risk of falling, Steven would adjust so that it was simple for the young faerie to hang on - in fact, the pressure created by the wind flowing over the dragon's hide made it rather difficult to fall off at all.

After several minutes of arial escapades, the dragon finally touched down where he had begun - the middle of the clearing that had, moments ago, been inhabited with large trees of many sorts. What a rush!

"WooOoow!" Dave exclaims throughout the acrobatics, "Whoo-hoOOo~! *giggle*" She felt her adrenaline pumping and it was quite an exciting ride despite how scared she was. By the time they touched down, the wind had created lots of tangles in Dave's long blue hair, giving it a sort of bed-raddled appearance. "Yeah! That was sooo COOL~!" She says excitedly as she lets go of the dragon's neck, she catches herself with her wings. Flying with them has practically become second nature to her now. Dave didn't even have to think about flapping her wings, unless she wanted to fly really fast. "So...uuh, what now?"
