Amazingly, Richard manages to hit the harpy! Right in the face! WIth a shriek of pain she let's go of the dwindling butterfly girl and plummets to the ground, dissappearing amongst the trees and brush.

"Oh, my name was James and..we should probably find someplace safe away from all those noises over there..if you don't mind." James said before looking down at the other woman in confusion. "Is she on sleep meds or something?" Or..was it some strange change from this place on her? "Oh! What was your name again?" He asks the awake woman.

Richard blinks. "Wow... I hit it." He grins. "Awesome good karma points for me for that one."

[Millinescence]

"Wow! Was that a flare? Nice shooting!" Dave says, catching herself with her wings. She hovers as she watches the now seemingly even bigger harpy spiral down to the ground like a plane that had been shot down. She gives Stephen a discouraged look as she finds herself becoming no more than a speck of dust to the forest-smashing dragon. "I-I guess this is goodbye, Steve..." The faerie sighs, not sure if the dragon could even hear her now. "It's...been fun. Good luck on becoming human again. I'm going to try to do the same. Even if it's just a temporary form or something." She starts flying away, in the general direction of James and his girls.

My name's Lucy. And if we're going to find shelter, we should probably take her with us. *Lucy walks over to the other woman and grabs her by one shoulder.* COuld you help me out here?

The bog continues on, you can't tell how far, but a hill with a building rises up further in.

Dave finds herself no longer shrinking, stopping at about 2 ft. in height. So she isn't just a pretty oversized insect, but she is finding her smaller size more subject to the whims of the wind, it buffeting her as she flies high above the ground.

As for Richard... apparently no one wants to be with you , i mean jese, you even made a -rock- leave

the unconcious women dose indeed seem to be in an unnatural state of relaxation.

Dave was thankful to stop shrinking. However she soon finds herself flying higher above the ground than she intended. "What? An updraft? Hmm..." She flaps her wings faster, trying to reach the ground. I wonder...If I'm a faerie, does that mean I can use magic? She asks herself.

The moment she thought of it, the world around her briefly shimmered. The next thing she knew, she was a few feet above the ground, the wind no longer blowing against her... but she was still trying to fly downwards.

[Millinescence]

((Dave's day just keeps getting better and better... ))

"Whaa--OOF! >.<" The faerie grunts as she makes a sudden hard landing on the soft grass! She slowly stands from a spread-eagle position. "Guess that answers my question...oww~" Dave rubs her head and looks around to see where she accidentally teleported herself to.

Dave seems to be in the middle of a field, she can see the forest, but it's quite a distance from where she is, of course, maybe it's just her being so small...

The field is like a scene from a movie, perfect grassy carpet, a small spring with a stream that leads to it, some flowers, and the occasional insect fluttering about.

(btw, poor Richard. I hope that rock gets his comeuppance. )

James nods and helps Lucy support the woman and after a moment of thought, grabs the blanket and offers it to Lucy to use. "One side is still mostly dry. Now let's try to find somewhere dry."

Hills tend to be dryer then the surrounding wetlands...

"... does my breath stink or something?" *breathes on his hand, sniffs it* "No... just smells like trail mix. Whatever..." Apparently all alone, he seriously considers going back the way he came... but then again... how many times do you get a chance to hike through a magic valley? With that thought, he picks up his walking stick and continues into the valley.
