[FFRP] The RP Nexus

[Millinescence]

"Thank you." takes the keys, "...I'm not sure what to do now." yawns, "Well, besides sleeping, but I tend to have trouble doing that."

"So what is your room number, nya?" She asks, taking a look at the laminated tag. "211? Mine is 216. You live just down the hall from me. Come, I will take you to your new home, nya." She grins. Kimiko leads Akiko up the stairs and down the hall to room 211. "Some say these apartment rooms are quite like 'college dorms'. You should find most of what you need inside, including sleepwear."

Akiko opens the door and looks inside, "It seems nice enough..." walks inside, and examines the room, "Hmmm" finds a plain white night gown, blushes, "I never thought I'd actually consider wearing one of these. Deffinetly didn't think that it'd be appropriate for me to wear it, either"
Looks around the room some more, "This is so frustrating, and really wierd that it's frustrating! I can't find anything to clean up, shouldn't I be happy about that?" groans, "This is so strange." sits on the bed.
Takes a closer look at her new body, "Now that I'm over the shock, my body feels so much diffrent. I almost feel... fragile." looks around the room, "and small..."

"Yes, I felt strange too when I first settled in...yet I did not have that little cleaning part, nya. ^^;" Kimiko says. "I can understand that you might feel meek and somewhat vulnerable, but try not to let it get to you. For not all women lack in brawn." She winks.

laughs, "Oh, I now that. I know it from first hand experience. But I don't think this body is all that strong..." looks at her thin arms and small hands

"Hmm...I see." Kimiko says, sitting down on the bed near her friend. "To be honest, I too am not strong in body, but I am strong in spirit, nya. To me that more than makes up for it. I am curious though, what did you used to do before arriving in this realm?"

"I worked at a gas station, not much else to say. I guess, this let's me start over to an extent, but it'd probably be better if I could have started highschool over, if I'm going to be starting from scratch. Things didn't go to well then, mostly family problems, but also just because I didn't feel like working hard."

[Millinescence]

"Ah, well people in Nexus have no use for gas-powered vehicles, nya. There are small electric powered vehicles, but there's not much of those either considering the geography of the area." Explains Kimiko. The catgirl reaches over to the bedside table and shows Akiko a detailed map of Nexus. "Nearly every business here is looking for new employees, nya. So finding a new job is not difficult."

Looks surprised, "So you don't need a highschool deploma around here?"

[Millinescence]

"The people here seem to treat a person based on their age and appearance, nya." Says the miko neko. "If you are over highschool age, they will simply assume you have a high school diploma. If one should arrive as an adult and ends up changing into a kid, that person will be expected to go to school, nya. Whether or not that person remembers their past does not seem to matter."

"That seems a little odd. How often does that happen?"

[Millinescence]

"No one knows how often one changes into a child. The transformations of newcomers vary greatly, nya." Kimiko says.

[all_knowing_frog]

"Am I going to have to worry about changing again? I really would rather not suddenly change into a little girl..."

[Millinescence]

"No, once you change that is it. Yet...there are rumors that if you go to Nexus Plaza there is a fifty percent chance you will change again if you stay there long enough, nya."
If Akiko looks at the digital clock on her nightstand, it would read 10:43pm.

"It's getting late, *yawn* I think I'm going to hit the hay. Oh, that's a relief. Well good night." *yawn*

[Millinescence]

"Goodnight, Akiko." Kimiko says as she stands up and bows. "I will be in my room if you need anything, nya."
And with that, Kimiko walks out the door and heads to her room. After changing into a nightie herself, she gets into her futon and dozes off herself...
