Just got Soul Silver and couldnt wait to get to the daycare so I can bring my two caught pairs of magikarp and pineco's and have them bang each other ferociously while gaining levels.

So far I have a level 1 adamant nature pineco named Spike (*was thinking of cowboy beebop, oddly*), and my magikarps are breeding like... magikarps. Trying to get me an adamant karp. When I get said karp, I plan to name it Naga.

Then when I find an area with teddiursa... yeah.

In case you were wondering, pokemon trained from level 1 are always stronger than same leveled pokemon caught in the wild, and natures effect stat bonuses as well. So a bred pokemon with the right nature will be quite more powerful than a caught pokemon of same level.

And for those wondering, my current lineup is Quilava 19 (Zuko), Ledian 20 (Lady), and Pineco 1 (Spike). Lady I caught at level three, and she has a Modest nature. My future lineup includes Magikarp, Teddiursa, and Skarmory. Which I all intend to breed.

I breed for attacks, but not for natures. Can't really be bothered too, I already waste enough time in that game by EV training the little beasts. And I'm not even out to play the game competitively.

The only time it took me a significant amount of time was getting a Dragon Dancing Larvitar. I had to go through this whole chain process to actually pull it off, but that guy is a beast.

I've never actually bothered with breeding... just like I've never bothered with contests. I probably should have, but eh. XD

I have way too many Cyndaquils just lying around in my storage from a get rich scheme gone horribly wrong. I had no idea that my Ditto was so... fertile! O_____o

Ditto are freaking awesome.

And at the moment, I've just been breeding so I can trade starters and such with other people, along with hooking people up with stupidly powerful pseudo legendary babies.

Occasionally I breed them. I guess I should trade my Typhlosion and Charizard to my Heart Gold to Soul Silver so I can get a Charmander and Cyndaquil. I am also probably going to breed my Ambipom with a Ditto so I can get an Aipom. I am in the process of levelling up my HeartGold Team so I can take on Blue. I have already beaten Lance and Clair in the tag battle with my rival.
