And so he headed to bunks, he rubbed his neck feeling a bit sore. "Damn girl did a number on me..."

Chris looks up at the message before sending a message back "uh were at the ship but stryker got attacked by a little girl who was one of the aliens and im not sure if hes alright he's wandered off somewhere in the ship

Claudia's eyes narrowed into her familiar glare as Paula recited the rhyme, "You knew what I meant.. ", she mumbled, and then watched her pull her jumpsuit and armour back on, sulking internally as she thought of her battered bodysuit, discarded on the ground somewhere out there. "I don't mean feel in that way.... you just... seem different", she said, the frustration clear on her face at not understanding what she herself meant.

She wore an envious expression as she watched Paula fix the assault rifle to her back before handing over the pistol to her, but reached out to take it. After turning it over and examining the gun, she went to slide it into clothing, but immediately realised the short, tight blue dress wouldn't have a place to store weapons, as it was meant for 'school'. "I didn't lose that last one", she snapped, the pistol remaining in her hand as she turned towards the apartment door, and then hesitated. For a moment, she seemed nervous, "You go first... I'll cover our back.. ".

For once, Paula didn't argue. She pulled out her rifle from her back and nudged the door open with her shoulder, checking up and down the hallway with the flashlight attachment. When she was satisfied they weren't going to be ambushed, she led the way down the hall.

[Harri-chan]

"Stupid dress... ", complained Claudia from behind her. She didn't like the way it hugged her reduced figure, not how it was barely passed her underwear as it was then, and then kept riding up further. She did stick pretty close to Paula however, glancing behind every now and then, pointing her pistol towards the darkness, her boots making far softer sounds than the heavy metallic ones from her body armour as she walked along behind her rival.

"If any of those guys laugh... I swear I'm gonna shoot them".

[Danarth]

Listening to the response over the intercom, it sounded human enough and it seemed to be geninue, but there was clearly an issue of trust on both sides. Keeping his finger off the intercom button for a moments, considering how he would respond for a few moments. The issue of trust was most pressing at this time, since neither side really knew the other. Looking to Eric for a moment, who gave him a fairly quizzical look, as if he did not know what to do about this issue right now. Thinking for a moment, no doubt these people were heavily armed and they would not stand a chance in a fight if they were aliens.

Pressing the intercom button again, having decided on a plan of action "We probably won't get to far right now if we don't trust one another, so I'm going to open the door and throw my weapons through" he took his finger off the intercom button and moved towards the door slowly, he would reach over and enter the door's passcode, as some of them had been sealed prior to leaving. As the mechanical door slide open, he would take his shotgun and pistol and toss them through the open door, before doing the same with Eric's weapon. After a moment he would step through the door, his hands out to show that he wasn't concealing any weaponry, Eric would follow suit.

"Not that we don't apperciate the help, but couldn't you have come a little sooner?"

[Haylie]

"You were likely going to shoot on sight before anyway, so I guess that's as good a plan as any." Paula kept a steady pace forward, stopping only to check a corner or at the occasional small sound. She walks surprisingly softly, considering her heavy armor. She walks heel-toe, keeping her head steady and her steps quiet. She's clearly done this before.

[Harri-chan]

"I meant YOUR guys", clarified the moody teenage Claudia as she followed Paula. Without realising, she was watching every move the blonde marine made, and trying to mimic it as best she could. "That's where we're going, right? Hawkins said to meet him at the command room.. or something like that". Of course, her chatter made the silent footsteps seem like wasted effort. Although, before too long there were other voices as the pair approached the command room door shortly after Christian and Eric had stepped inside. Claudia hadn't exactly been formally introduced to the team, but she was sure she'd not heard these voices before.

Bendak laughed low as the blue chick seemed more than confused at the surviving transmission, "That's right, we're a bunch of difficult beings to get rid of..." he looked backwards a moment for somewhere to sit...but it didn't look like there was any place immediately. He re-aimed his rifle on the girl, "Second question. Why attack?"

[Knight Errant]

Stryker finds his personal bunk! Its not exactly roomy, but it is comfortable...

Bright radio's to Chris: "... just get the damn equipment he was supposed to and get over here." Said equipment would be in a bog box in the dropship.

The two women- err... one woman and one girl... stand outside the door! They hear all the interesting conversations going on...

Bright looks over to the two colonists. "Lieutenant, do you wanna...?" He looks over at Hawkins, who has Razor on a table and is looking over her, a medical kit open next to him.

Hawkins shakes his head. "I am busy, deal with them sergeant."

Bright nods and walks over them. "RIGHT. I am Sergeant Bright... and as for coming sooner we were the closest vessel to your colony when it lost contact. How many of you are there? Who is in charge? Is the colony leader still alive?"

The alien looks back at Bendack and tilts her head. "Attack what?"

uh yes sir" chris says as he looks around going over to the box and opens it getting the equipment before starting to take it to where bright is

[Haylie]

Paula promptly goes through the door and looks around, but says nothing.

[Danarth]

As it seemed these Marines where who they said they were, Christian stooped down and picked up his shotgun and sidearm, tossing Eric's back to him. Putting the shotgun back over his shoulder and the sidearm back into it's holster "Eric, go check out the sesmic charts, we need to know if tunnels are still stable" he spoke to his partner as he closed the top of the holster over the sidearm. Eric nodded for a moment and strolled over to one of the still active machines and began checking readouts. "Looking good so far, there was a spike from the tunnel collapse but it seems stable otherwise, but i'll keep checking" Eric responded after a few moments

Christian nodded then turned to look at the man who addressed him and nodded once as he listened to the man's questions "Well, Sergeant, Most of the orginal complement of colonists that came to the colony are still alive, we are hidden out in the tunnel below the main colony" he would motion downwards "We've been holding out down there since those aliens attacked us, crazy blue skinned freaks." he looked over the others for a moment, it seemed the group of marines was rather small, he hoped there was more around. Looking back to the Sergeant "The Commander is still alive, although he's not been well. He is down below with the rest of the colonists"

As two other people entered the room they were in, he would give a nod to the older looking soldier woman for a moment, before looking to the second newcomer. He would blink a few times as he looked at the younger one, she certainly didn't look anything like any of the other soldier, being that she was not only a teengaer by apperance but seemed to be wearing a dress. He scratched his head for a moment, wondering if she was another colonist they might have rescued, but he did not recognize her and the colony was not so big that he didn't know his fellows by name and face. Looking to the sergeant "Is that kid one of team, Sergeant? she looks a bit young to be a marine" he motioned to Claudia for a moment

He took another glance at Eric, who merely nodded at him which would indicate to Christian that everything was fine for the moment. He would then look back to the Sergeant again "and what's the plan now, Sergeant? I can lead you too the hideout in the tunnels, it's probably safer and more defensible than this place." he motioned around himself to the mostly defunct Command centre.

Claudia walked into the room at Paula's side, wearing an expression that would have perfectly suited the sulky teen she now appeared to be. Her brown eyes scanned those gathered, her brow creasing as she saw Eric and Christian, who she knew hadn't been amongst the marines when she was tracking them. Her nose wrinkled as one of them mentioned her, and her upper lip curled into a snarl. Lifting the pistol from her side, she handled it with experience that seemed to defy her appearance of around fifteen years, and aimed it at Christian, "Who's this joker?", she snorted.

Unfortunatley for Claudia, the drop from twenty one to fifteen probably wasn't big enough to disguise her identity. Her facial features were arranged much as they had been the last time the crew saw her, they were just a little smaller and cuter now. Her brown eyes and long brown curls of hair were identical, and even her figure had a similar shape and muscle tone, apart from the reduction in curves and height. And of course there was her attitude. They'd all know it was Claudia standing there in the short, figure-hugging blue dress that they'd all associate with schoolgirls from back home.

She still looked like you'd want to put your money on her if she was fighting with another girl her age, but standing beside Paula did her little favours. The difference between woman and teen was clear, and that was one fight that Claudia wouldn't win.

[Haylie]

Paula nods back and shrugs. "It's a bit of a long story. One you likely wouldn't believe if I told you anyway."

She puts her hand on top of Claudia's pistol and forces it to point down, away from Christian. "No shooting the military. Understood?" Claudia might get the impression that disobeying would be... bad. It's unclear how or why, but... disobeying Paula is bad.

Claudia's brown curls danced across her back, snapping her head to look up at Paula when the Marine's hand fell across her pistol and forced it downwards with her superior strength. For a moment, the teenager looked enraged at the way she was being spoken down to, although having to constantly look up into the eyes of the other female made Paula's authority seem stronger than ever, but that's what she did, meeting Paula's gaze for what seemed like the longest time. Her shoulders shrugged, the snug material stretching around them as she then lowered her eyes in what could be taken as a sign of defeat in her battle for Dominance with the other female. "Understood... ", she muttered, looking strangely ashamed of herself now.
