[FFRP] The attack of the Faeries!

Ari rubs his wrists then goes over to Li. "Wow... I was worried you were gonna be killed!" He says, nervous. "Anyway... Thanks for saving us ma'am." He says, bowing to Annalina. "As for your offer... I choose choice one."

[Millinescence]

"Right, be safe Annalina." Sayako says as she waves Annalina goodbye. She then looks to the new sister, still not knowing her name. "My name is Sayako, what's your's? If you weren't trying to restore this...'mill', what were you doing?" The fae gives her sister a hug to try and comfort her. "I shall try my best to help you in your new life as our fellow sister of the Faewild. However, I am also curious of the ways of humans. So, please forgive all the questions I'm asking of you. Ehehe..." A sweatdrop appears on the side of Sayako's face while she laughs nervously and scratches the back of her head.

Li nods. "I choose option one as well. You say the High Fae are a dying breed....let us help you re-populate these ranks..and thank you for not killing us, your eldership..."

[Blindsense]

Li waited to receive her fate, until what appeared to hear the voice of the elder Faewild, ruling to make them all part of their society. "Thank y-ou, your eldership....uhm, er...I would like to know about the male and female relations in your society though. Is it possible to have both male and female Faewild, working together, or will Ari-kun be converted over to a female Fae?"

"There are no males in the High Fae," Annalina said simply. She then took a step back and raised her petite hands above her head in an open, fluid motion. They began to emit a soft prismatic glow - a glow that slowly began to appear on the humans' skin as well. It was more subtle than the previous magical light, and the sensation was quite pleasant.

B-but Lady Annalina! This breaks convention - the council stammered, but the head of the Council cut them off with a wave of her elegant, glowing hand.

"Convention must be changed. We are a dying people - we do not have the ability to survive naturally. These humans have proven themselves friends of the forest - what other concessions would we make of our own kind? They shall be welcomed as if they were natural-born sisters of the Faewild." The command was final as Annalina's attention turned back to the humans. "The initial stages of the metamorphosis have begun. Your life energy - your very essence - is having its humanity stripped away, leaving the purity of your soul to take on the Faewild's influence. It will be a few moments until the more noticeable changes begin... Until then, do you have any questions for me?"

IC: Li frowns when the elder mentions no males in the Faewild. "How do you propose to propogate your species, if you do not allow mates for your females?" She looks over to Ari and Patty. "I guess we won't be going back home to our human families. They will report us missing, and the police will investigate the dissapearances and the large tree. What will you do when our policemen and women, and detectives discover we are missing, and the large tree, and my wagon with the tools we used to plant the large tree?"

Ari sighs at the mention that there are no males. "So I'm gonna be a girl...? That's gonna be different..." He says, obviously nervous at what's about to happen to him. He listens to Li and agrees. "Surely the Fae magic would be able to do something about that, right?"

"The High Fae have never held males in their ranks - we are embodiments of the Faewild's prosperity and fertility. Every 250 years we come to be with child - males are not needed." She sighed, shaking her head. "Until recently, that had been enough. Our long life-spans allow for prosperity despite a low birth rate. However, thanks to human pollution, many of us have fallen ill and died before our time. Thus, you see our dilemma."

Ari sighs at the mention that there are no males. "So I'm gonna be a girl...? That's gonna be different..." He says, obviously nervous at what's about to happen to him. He listens to Li and agrees. "Surely the Fae magic would be able to do something about that, right?"

Annalina giggles at Ari's anxiety. "You are correct in assuming that our Fae magic will take care of the humans," she replied. "Those that knew you will forget about you completely - it will be as if you had never existed. Your families will continue on just as happy as if you were still present." Her eyes turned to Ari in particular now. "Your fear of being female is understandable... If you'd like, we could add you to the ranks of the lesser members of the Faewild - a sprite or a Grellkin or something of the sort. However, you would be a creature of quite low intelligence compared to your current state... The choice is yours."

Patty soflty speaks up, "I kind of doubt that mine would look too hard for me without the Fae magic. Even though the doctors kept telling them that something was wrong with me, I know that my parents still blamed me for being fat. And all the money that they had spent to try and make me lose weight. Th.they fight all the time about it when they don't know I can hear."

"Oooh..." she suddenly exclaimed as she felt the changes in her body start. The fat started just evaporating from her body, and she started getting shorter. Her dull brown hair became a golden blonde,her eyes an amethyst color. Her looks became both more mature,and timeless. The changes continued until she was a full High Fae.

Annalina blinked. "Well, that was fast," she muses, eyeing Patty up and down with a grin on her face. "Usually the changes are more... Gradual. But you turned out quite nicely, my sister."

Meanwhile, the initial stages of the transformation had begun in the other two humans. The tingling sensation intensifies as the humans find their clothes slowly but surely swallowing their shrinking forms. Their hair also begins to lengthen slightly, with a few strands of moonlight-silver appearing in Li's, while crimson locks begin to appear on Ari's scalp. This sudden, yet subtle change in height draws Annalina's keen eye. She flashes the other two humans a grin, but says nothing, wondering if they'll notice the minor changes before the more apparent ones begin.

"Uh... Thanks, but I'd rather lose my masculinity then lose my intelligence." Ari says, laughing nervously at Annalina's comment. He feels the changes happening. "Um... I'm assuming that I'm getting shorter, or everybody else is getting taller." He says, commenting on his change in height. He hasn't noticed the hair, though.

Li's hair began to start to change, and she began to grow shorter..."The transformation process has begun, I believe. Looks like we will no longer be able to go to school...unless there are schools here that teach new High Faewild how to do magic and stuff."

Preston eyes the new faerie with wonder as she and Annalina talk. When the pressure from the summons Annalina flyies off to investigate hits, he is left mometarily speachless, getting some of what was going on and recognizing the others from school. When The young fae asks Preston what he was doing in the old mill, it takes him a moment to realize he is being addressed, let alone being hugged by what he conciders still to be a cute girl...
"I...ah...well...see, my freinds and I were using the old building to stay away from the tourists and every one in town with an agenda because my dad's company owns the building and stoppeed the harvesting of the forest when they found ...something. He never did say what they found, but the workers all got mad, no matter how much extra money they were offered. Us kids set up a solar batery system for our LAN and gaming stuff, and run the old generator on recycled vegitable oil and try not to use it very much...Keiko just finished up a carbon scrubber for the exaust so we could use it more often and not increase our carbon foot print...Ooooh crud...what are we going to tell them, they will be here any moment unless something stops them from comming today?" Preston suddenly loos agitated, his loose clothing falling off his much smaller feminine frame as it slides off both his shoulders and tangles his arms to his waist and flashing poor Sakayo...

Sayako listens intently with what the new faerie has to say. "So, you just wanted to get away from the humans and play games with those strange contraptions you brought? And your dad found us and we made him stop..." She trails off and giggles a little at Preston's now skyclad frame. She doesn't seem to mind it. "Ohh...your friends are coming? Perhaps we can meet them. We'll need to name you, your human name may not suit you whatever it was. How does Reiko sound?" Sayako then pulls Reiko out of the giant clothing, flapping her wings to help her along. Once Reiko was out of the clothing they end up flying across the room, nearly landing on the floor!

Annalina blinked. "Well, that was fast," she muses, eyeing Patty up and down with a grin on her face. "Usually the changes are more... Gradual. But you turned out quite nicely, my sister."

((Sorry if Patty's transformation was too fast. Oh, I know; 1) she was still in the odd state that is being not awake but not asleep when the surge of magic released by the (previously normal) sapling's rapid growth into a tree of the Faewild passed thrugh where she was laying, 2) she touched the new Faewild growth so soon after its rapid transformation, 3) the fact that the Faewild tree responded to her saying it was "so very beautiful" suggests at least a sort of bond formed, and 4) she was looking up into the tree's canopy while touching and talking to it so she got an extra heavy dose of its sparkling (magic?) pollen. ... Umm, did I just give the GM a verly large 'hook' into my character? ^_^;; ))

Patty looked at her two transforming companions while trying to keep at least a piece of her now far too large clothes covering herself. "Can we get some clothing that will fit us? Then maybe we can start learning what it means to be a member of the High Fae."
