The group makes there way towards one of the underground evacuation centers. They are cut off from the entrance for a moment by a line military vehicles and soldiers heading down the road in the direction of the danger. At this point they might take notice of someone missing from the group.Who could it be though?

Wait a second... *Shiki takes a quick headcount of everyone present.* Okay, who's missing?

Kelly, barely managing to grasp any of this, looks around nervously, clutching Connie to her chest.

*Cough cough* "Oi, d'you mind...?" "Oh. Sorry." *Gasp* "Whew..."

Natsuki blinks. " Were is Hitomi ?"

"Hmm...yeah I wonder where she is?" Rihox said with concern in his voice.

The women turns and looks back at the group. "Huh? Yeah the purple hair quiet girl is missing." They finally notice that the dome over head is flashing red as is all the street lights are flashing red as a warning to the danger too. the military vehicles keep going down the street pass them. They don't see any sign of Hitomi but it is fairly easy where she went off to.
One of the soldiers stops and looks at them he is holding what looks like a machine gun but at the barrel of the gun is something that looks like something out of a scifi movie or show. It looking like a laser gun. "You all can head the other way down the street to the residential dome exit. There they can help you to one of the evacuation centers." He directs in the other direction from the danger down the street than where the soldiers are heading, away from the danger.
The women turns to them and sighs relieved. "Lets go! Ohh wait what about that other girl?"

As soon as they are outside Hitomi waits for a chance for no one to be looking to sneak away from the group. She heading directly towards the danger, not caring much for whatever else everyone else is doing. Running away or retreating isn't something she'd do. She quickly heading along towards the danger without any hesitation.

"Lin-Chan we have to go look for Hitomi. If we stay here retreating, I would never forgive myself if something bad happened to our ally and teammate." Erika said trying to get Lin's attention by tapping her on the back.

*Shiki sighs.* Okay, I'll go find Hitomi. The rest of you, stay with this woman until we have a clear idea of what's going on. Any objections?

Natsuki nods. " It goes against my moral code to leave someone behind Im going as well."

"I will go as well, since it's seems dishonorable to leave a partner behind." Rihox said.

Connie nods. "We'll go, too. As, you know, cheerleaders." Connie winks as Kelly smiles brightly.

Lin nods, as Erika reminds her to go look for Hitomi. "What if the authorities stop us and tell us we need to go back to the shelter? I-I'll go look for Hitomi-chan...I mean, just look for a girl with long purple hair and nice clothes."

The women looks at all of them for a moment as they talk. "This person must be important to you if you are all willing to risk your lives for her." She looks downward in a pensive thought. "You all must be good friends. You go look for her together. I'll head to the shelter. But I want you all to meet me back at my apartments to explain everything to me. Maybe you can help me and I can help you all out." She turns to the soldier. "Please let them look sir."
The soldier shook his head. "Sorry Ma'am I cannot permi-" Wack! A broom suddenly smacks him across his head.
"Josephus! It's their friend!" The women hit the soldier over his head with the broom stick. "You have to let them go."
The soldier sighs. "I cannot. But if they ran off when I wasn't looking no one could stop them" He turns his back. "Better hurry along."
The women smiles turning back to them giving a cheerful wave. "Please be sure to meet me back at the apartments." With that she runs off towards the shelter.

Meanwhile Hitomi is off doing what she does best. Being quiet and sulky and grumpy. Actually she has gotten herself close enough to see that the military is barricading the area where the darkness has been attacking. She is in a position where she cannot be seen but still is too far away to see much.

...That works too. *Shiki runs after the soldiers, keeping an eye out for Hitomi.*

Kelly looks confused at the "friends" bit, but doesn't argue. She makes to follow the group. From a respectable distance, of course.
