[FFRP] A Psychological Experiment (IC)

Natalie turned to the wolf girl and nodded as they entered with one hand she kept cooking, but with the other she tried to pull down her skirt. It was still embarresing for her to be upclose to people. "Uhhh... Im fine, don't worry about me" she said as she got back to work. The kitchen was suddenly a buzz with life and if a bit uncomfertable with so many people in it. Then a little girl came by her and intruduced herself. Natalie checked her hat and blushed. Her hat was a very noticable feature, shes happier people pay attention to it rather than her assets. "Im... uhhh.... uhhh" she said stoping flicking her fingers as for some reason her male name escaped her. "Just call me Natalie for now" she said blushing, patting the girls head, before going back to cooking.

Melissa watched Natalie curiously, and wondered if she was trying to cast a spell when she flicked her fingers. "Nice to meet you Natalie. Want to cook with us?", she said, before looking back to Valerie when the blonde girl asked her to turn the oven on. Her first reaction was to bite her bottom lip. She'd never been good at cooking, but she'd used the oven tons. Now... it seemed a little frightening. Walking over to it, she squatted down and studied the dials, before twisting the one she thought was the temperature up to four hundred. Catching sight of her reflection the glass window on the front of the oven she winced and quickly got up to her feet. Turning around, she blushed as she watched Chris bending over to look in a cupboard. After gazing at the cat girl's panties, she felt a strong urge growing to cuddle her like a giant stuffed toy, but just flashed her a shy smile and resisted for now. "Wanna come see my room later, Chris?". Argh! Her room was utterly embarrassing but she kept wanting to show it off.

She turned back to Valerie, still blushing. For some reason, just watching the blonde in the pretty dress made her feel quite relaxed. "I set the temperature, Valerie... ". There was a brief pause where she paced back and forth, playing with the bottom of her skirt. "Do you have children? I didn't think you looked old enough, but then I saw those books... Oh! Aprons!". So easily distracted. There were a bunch of feminine aprons hung up on the wall. Pushing up onto her toe, Melissa looked through then, one in particular appealing to the childish side of her mind. Pulling it down, the adult side of her mind made her blush brightly. It was bright pink, with 'Lazy Town' written across the top and a cartoon depiction of said TV show's main character, Stephanie, below. "Aww, man....", she complained, but didn't want to be shouted at for spoiling her school uniform, so pulled it over her head and looked up at Valerie, clutching the strings at the sides. "Valerie... could you tie this around me? Please...". Her eyes widen a little as she saw Xandra had joined them, and a jolt of childish exitement swelled up inside her. "You're a really good singer! You could be on TV!". She cringed at how she sounded, but couldn't help it. Her mind raced between thoughts so fast it made her dizzy.

Kaya shrugs, before finally locating the silverware and napkins and starting to set things out. Nothing fancy, just a single fold across the diagonal of each napkin and a fork, spoon and knife to the left of each place since she doesn't know what the meal is, or what it'll require. Then she locates the plates in a wall-hung cupboard, and just pulls out the regular ceramic ones, forgoing the finer-looking stuff, and places one plate at each place...all 12 of them. How many people are here, anyway? She hasn't managed to actually count, and it's really rather confusing just now. She does overhear the conversation with the witch, Natalie. So many "ie"s and "a"s...

Lana, noticing the woman with four arms, entered the living room, closing the door behind her, taking special care to make sure her new tail didn't get caught. After fully closing it, she took a deep breath. Pushing down her anxiety, she faced room's occupent, in as confident a manner as she could, the results looking slightly rediculess whith her chest puffed out and shoulders squared and a determined look on her youthfull face. She herself realized how she must look when she had to push up her galsses as they had slid down slightly.

"Excuse me, but I was late, is there anything I should know?" her voice squeaking from the nervesness she was trying to hide, causing her to blush slightly.

[Living Room]

Well, I just got here a few minutes ago myself, so I'm not really sure what I can tell you. I do know someone's working on lunch, though.

Valerie giggles as she walks over. "Forgot how to tie a knot?" She quickly and expertly ties it. "Now come on, Mellissa. I'm going to show you how to use a knife... but no touching." She takes out several sharp knives and places them down as she starts to prepare some fish. "Like so. See?"

Chris watches Valerie work, drooling at the sight of the fish.

Melissa blushed as Valerie spoke to her, but the shy smile never left her face. Her dark brown eyes gazed up at the pretty girl as she came closer to tie up the strings of her apron, and before she could stop herself, she'd wrapped her arms around Valerie, giving her a firm hug. "Thanks, Valerie... ", she murmured, seeming quite embarrassed as she let go. For a moment or two, she watched the older girl preparing the fish with the knives.... but the presence of Chris beside her was awfully distracting, and suddenly she was hugging the adorable cat girl around the waist too, "You're so soft... ".

"I-I see." Lana walked a little closer, so that she wasn't right in front of the door. Looking everywhere but her fellow test subject she continued, "Well, I'm um... Lana... er... what's your name?" she could keep from fidgeting, her tail moving about and her ears flat on her head.

Miika just walked slowly in the living room. She wasn't looking where she was going and soon bumped into the four armed girl.

"I-I-I am sorry!" said Miika as she realized that she had hit the girl.

"I-I see." Lana walked a little closer, so that she wasn't right in front of the door. Looking everywhere but her fellow test subject she continued, "Well, I'm um... Lana... er... what's your name?" she could keep from fidgeting, her tail moving about and her ears flat on her head.

For now, you may call me Regalia. Appropriate, don't you think?

[Living Room]

Miika just walked slowly in the living room. She wasn't looking where she was going and soon bumped into the four armed girl.

"I-I-I am sorry!" said Miika as she realized that she had hit the girl.

*Regalia glances at Miika.* Hm. Forget it.

Chris gasps and is distracted by the fish from Melissa hugging her. She blushes cutely. "Ah... Thank you-nya?" She blushes even more, realizing that she was ignoring Melissa for the fish. "I'd love to see your room later, Melissa-nya~" She smiles and pets the little girl, hugging her back.

[Kitchen]

"No hugging the cat girl until after dinner, Melissa. I need you to spray the pans with Pam so that things don't stick to them. I know that you love cute things, but now is not the time." She continues expertly cutting and diceing various ingrediants and stirring stuff. Soon the kitchen is full of delicious smells, only interupted by an ocasional tear drop on the floor, though with all the cooking noise chances are nobody hears or sees it.

Kaya looks over her work, trying to think whether there's anything else the tables might need. She goes over to about the middle of the room, looking over at Valerie and sniffing a bit to see if she can figure out what's being cooked.

Valerie is cooking, in a word, everything. An assault of delicious smells assalt her nostrils.

Melissa could see how fascinated Chris was with the fish, and let out a little giggle as her hug was returned and she got a pat on the head. Her dark pigtails swished around as she turned back to Valerie, and flashed her an apologetic smile. "Sorry... I couldn't help it... she's like a big soft toy". Bending down, she searched through the cupboards before finding the can she'd been told to use. Turning it over in her hands, she read the back of it, and then moved over to the pans and sprayed the Pam onto their insides, a proud little smile on her lips. She was eager to impress all the grown ups, but Valerie especially. And so when she turned to look back up at the pretty girl to inform her she'd sprayed the pans, she saw the tears, and immediately was overcome with panic. "Valerie... what's wrong?", she asked, hurrying back to her side.
