Circe's Manor

[Kumi-chan]

The boy looks pale as he lays there on the floor, motionless. He looks like he could be dead.

[Circe]

Oh, right. The kid. *Circe kneels next to the boy and checks his wrist for a pulse.*

[Kumi-chan]

His pulse is fading, slowing more and more. Soon it is almost completely gone, until it finally stops fully.

[Circe]

Oh, sonova... Aldonza! Get up here!

[AmbushCat]

*hearing Circe's call; turbos into the area* Circe! What the--- *sees the kid* Oh crud, oh, crud, oh crud!

*Aldonza stoops down, placing both hands and her tail tip over the boy. A glow encircles the both of them as she starts to channel her energy into the boy, attempting to get his heartbeat going again*

[Kumi-chan]

Fortunately she gets to him so quickly, as she pours her energies into him she finds his body drawning them in faster than she would expect them to.

*breathes a sigh of relief, keeping her energy going in at a relatively steady pace* I think he'll make it. Not every day that I get to treat an energy sink.

[Circe]

Good. It would've been a major pain for him to die after all that.

*TIME SKIP!*

*Callista arrives outside the Manor via one of Circe's portals.*

Callista: *dry, joking sarcasm* Everyone, I have returned. Rejoice.

[Circe]

*On this side of the portal, Callista finds Circe already at the front door, telling the maid stationed there about the events that led to her inviting Cal over. Neither of them seems to be paying her much mind right now.*

[AmbushCat]

*Callista stands off to the side, sipping her M. D. White-out bottle while she waits and quietly humming Richter Belmont's theme to herself.*

[Circe]

*After a minute, the maid turns to address Callista.* Oh, hello there! Miss Circe was just telling me about what you two were up to... Can I get you anything?

[AmbushCat]

Callista: A double-decker grilled cheese sandwich sounds appetizing right about now. *licks her lips, then remembers where she is* And, um, before I forget my manners, can I come in?

[Circe]

Oh, of course! *The maid steps aside so Circe and Callista can enter.*

Callista: *waves her thanks as she enters* Much obliged. *drops a few coins in the maid's hand when she gets close enough*
