Circe's Manor

[Circe]

You're welcome! Now, excuse me... *The maid pockets the money and runs off to the kitchen to get everything set up, leaving Circe and Callista in the foyer.*

So, I guess that leaves me to show you to the dining room...

[AmbushCat]

Callista: Yep. Lead the way; it's your home.

[Circe]

That it is. Now, try and keep up. *Circe strides down the same hall the door-maid went down, passing a couple other maids along the way.*

[AmbushCat]

*The shopaholic follows along, needing to quicken her normal pace a little just to keep up. She idly waves at those maids that she passes.*

Callista: Something I'm curious about. Did you ever manage to figure out how much acreage this place takes up?

[Circe]

*A couple of the maids wave back to Callista, others continue on with whatever they were doing.* No, actually. It's something I've been meaning to look into, though.

[AmbushCat]

Callista: Well, if you ever find out, let me know---if I walked from one end of the building to the other, I'd probably need to rest afterwards.

[Circe]

Most people would, I'd imagine.

[AmbushCat]

Callista: Heh. I'm surprised this place isn't considered a castle. *thinks of Dact, then shakes her head* Er, in a Manor of speaking, of course.

[Circe]

It's a little late to change the name at this point, wouldn't you think?

[AmbushCat]

Callista: I'm kidding, Circe. I'm kidding. *laughs weakly, then settles down* It doesn't have the same look, anyway.

[Circe]

Oh, well... Okay then. *Circe stops and indicates a door on the right wall.* Anyway, this here's the dining room...

[AmbushCat]

Callista: *enters the room, sighing as she does so* Ladies and gentlemen, the 2nd most important room in the entire building.

[Circe]

*Callista finds a lot of tables within the dining room, with enough chairs to easily seat most of the Manor's staff. Circe leads her over to a slightly larger table int he center of the room.* Go on, have a seat.

[AmbushCat]

Callista: Thanks, don't mind if I do. *goes over and takes a seat at said table* Don't think I've actually been in here before.

[Circe]

*Circe sits across from Callista.* No, I don't think you have. Do you like it okay?
