Make a TF Foundation: Nikki vs High Society, Round 1

Ms. Danvers puts down her supplies and hugs the girl..."Still missing your father, hm? Phillip Jeffries was a really good man, his grants and scholarships helped me thru college and when I started my deign studio. I hope to be able to pay his philanthropy forward someday." She tries consoling the girl. "If you like We can do this later today or early tomorrow."

((Great line there Nikki, not feeling myself today.>snicker<))

[Nikki]

"Yeah that sounds like a good idea." Rose says.

[Miku-chan]

As Ms. Danvers leaves with her Hellers, she leaves the clothing racks behind..."If you decide to, go ahead and look thru these designs and tell me what you want changed if they don't suit your taste." and smiling at the girl, leaves closing the door behind her...

[Nikki]

Rose looks through th dresses curiously. She can't help but wonder how they would feel.

[Miku-chan]

as rose looks thru them she will see silks and tafita, linens and crinolines, but the one that really gets her notitce is a crinoline and satin party dress that looks like the one from her dream as a 6 year old at her first Society party. E cream and white combination fills her with warmth...

[Nikki]

Rose walks over to the dress and touches the fabric. She seems to have no idea how she would put such a dress on. Still it does make her being young.

[Miku-chan]

Another memory flash shows her as a little girl playing dress up and comically getting stuck as she tried to put one of her mothers old dresses on over her head without undoing the zippers and buttons, her little face peeking out the neck hole as lady Jefferies snickers uncontrollably in the family living room...

[Nikki]

Rose smiles at the memory and warmly as she remembers her mom. She looks at a few of the dresses.

[Miku-chan]

Several other dresses remind her of styles she saw her mother wear in her newly acquired memories... It is several hours later when Ms Danvers pokes her head back into Rose's rooms..."Are you feeling up to fittings now?"

[Nikki]

"Were you spying on me?" Rose asked

[Miku-chan]

"No, Ms. Rose, no one was spying, but it has been 6 hours since we left and the evening meal is about to be served. Your grandfather asked me to check on you, and when I came in you seemed to be at peace looking at the gowns." Ms Danvers says. As Rose looks to the clock on the mantel, she will indeed notice it is several hours later than when she first arrived, her stomach may also remind her how empty it feels at the moment...

[Nikki]

Rose looks at the clock, shocked that she had spent so long looking at and trying on dresses. "Alright then." She says she follows the woman to the kitchen.

[Miku-chan]

"Ms. Rose, do you intend to have dinner in that outfit?" Ms Danvers asks. When Rose looks down at what she is asking, she will find herself dressed in the gown her last dream/memory of her mother was wearing. "Though it is very beautiful, you will be a bit overdressed for a casual dinner at home." Rose may feel embarrassed about not remembering putting on such a gown, and how much it would please her grandfather if she wore it to dinner, but it is up to her if she continues to wear the gown...

[Nikki]

Rose looks at her blue silk dress. She remembers her grandfather likes it when she dresses up though a messy dinner could ruin it. "Umm what are we eating?" She asks.

[Miku-chan]

"I believe the chef made one of your favorites tonight, eggplant lasagna." Ms. Danvers replies
