TPR Chapther 3B, No one Expects the Sexual Inquisition

Lora has long since entered the inn; without a lute she couldn't very well play any music, but had plenty of older stories to tell the crowd. She's sitting at a table gobbling a huge piece of meat, either bought with the payment for the stories or serving as the payment itself.

Grunwalde heads over, sitting next to Lora.

"So... how have you been?"

Neir follows her into the inn seeing her sit next to the dragon she stops walking over recognizing the dragon from the castle standing there quietly

"Good as gold, right as rain..a little disappointed. Beer and fire mix, but not how the inn's owner'd like," says Lora, in a pause between bites of meat.

"I'm wondering... do you harbor any ill feelings toward the princess? Or are you comfortable in your new form..."

"I'm perfectly fine. I even think I c'n find a mage who c'n make me a stone lute or something that won't burn, some strings that won't break. I hear tell she's messing with folk beyond the curse at the castle, and I'm not sure whether it's still revenge or turning to megalomania. Neither's good for a person in the long run, by all the stories I know, and I'd warn her if I could, but bards don't go around talking to princesses, especially while looking draconic." There's just enough of a pause to give the illusion she's done, but not quite enough to form a response before she continues: "If you're wondering where everyone else went, some flame elemental decided to consult some mage order in charge of keeping her safe or something for information, and everyone ran off after her. I supposed they would be able to find out her location with some magic or other, but if she's off after more revenge I'm sure the order would be a target too, eh?"

Grunwalde nods. "Thank you... you have been useful." She leans forward and whispers. "There is a way for you to aid the princess... and it is good you seek no revenge on her. If your interested in helping, go visit the local tax office and express your desire. You will find it worth your while."

She leans back. "But if you would rather stay out of the line of fire... I suggest you forget what I just said."

"Hm. I take it you've changed your mind about your own...retribution...then?" She shrugs rather neutrally about this. "I remain a bard, though. If great things happen, have no doubt I'd like to be there to watch, eh?'

"Fine... how about following me... and watching."

*presuming they head back they find the castle proper has been transformed, no longer a place of sorcery or even the chaos that lead to the transformation, but a bustling resturaunt where the bunnies seem to be happily working*

Grunwalde... stares. "I did not see this coming..."

She moves forwards towards the restaurant. Hopefully the bunnies remembered something useful... if not she would just have to find the trail the old fashioned way.
