Make a TF foundation: The last /wo/man on earth.

"I agree. Any other survivors would be great." Plus, if they find another girl, Kyle wouldn't hound on her all the time. "So we need a couple groups. One group to find a new spot and survivors, another to raid for supplies, and someone to grab clothes with me." She looks to Cain. "That sound okay?"

[Shy Shay]

"Yeah, that does. Mason, you and Samuel go look for a good spot and survirors. Kyle, you got suplies. Take the rope first thing tomorow. I'll go with Bea to find her some clothes. Does tht sound fair?" He looks around.

Samuel speaks up. "B-but I want to go with Bea!"

Cain sighs. "Bea, it's your choice. Do you want me or Sam to go with you?"

Bea sighs. "Well, I'm something of a star now." She looks at Sam, and back to Cain. "You got to forage with me today, so I guess it's only fair for Sam to have a turn." Besides, it would give her plenty of alone time for her to squash what apparently were feelings Sam has for her, without embarrassing him in front of the other guys.

Cain makes a face for just a second... apparently, he wanted to go with her, instead. But he squashes it in an instant. "Very well." He nods. "You all know your missions tommorow." He takes a quick look around, and, seeing that everybody has finished there meat, stands up. "Okay. Time for bed. We wantto be up bright and early tommorow morning." He gets up and takes his plate and dish to the kitchen for washing. Mason, Kyle, and Samuel follow him.

Bea stands up and reaches out. "Um, Cain? Can I talk to you for a second?" She waits for the others to go into the kitchen. "I want to thank you for helping me today. I don't know what I would have done." She gives him a smile and pats his arm. "You... wanted to go to the store with me tomorrow, didn't you?" She smirks up at him and blushes lightly.

Cain turns his head, a slight blush on his face. "Well. Maybe. It's kinda hard to not want to." He then turns back with a smirk. "Of course, if it was Kyle that turned into a girl, no way in heck would I want to go with him."

Bea barks out a laugh. "Oh you know it. Kyle would be too in love with herself to do anything with anybody." She shakes her head and smiles, then turns back to look Cain in the eye. Her smile goes away. "Cain... the weird thing is... I'm not going with you tomorrow because... I kind of want to as well. I still need to sort myself out, and I don't want weird feelings to muck things up between us." She looks down a bit and realizes her hand is still on his arm, and has been squeezing his bicep. She pulls it away, biting her lip. "Like that... Sorry."

Cain sighs. He puts one hand on her shoulder and uses the other to force her to look at him. "Now look, Ber-" He sighs. "Bea. Things are diffrent. I'm not sure things will ever be how they were before todays... incident. But just so you know, you have four great friends willing to listen and help you. Even Kyle, if you get him in the right mood. So you need..." He pauses, thinking.

"I'm not making myself clear... I'm just saying that, even though things are diffrent, you will always have friends. Maybe more, if you let yourself accept it. But..." He signs, looking away. He then looks back, a steely gaze in his eyes.

"...we all need to take hits for the team. I'm not saying that it's easy, but if you really are the last woman on earth, then... well... you're going to have problems, and responsibilities. I hate to be the one to say it, expecially this early, but whatever that machine did... it might have just saved the human race from extinction." He sighs, the glare fading.

"I'm not going to force you. Just... think about it, okay?"

Before Beatrice can answer, he turns and leaves, going to his bunk, not wanting to hear her response.

Bea sighs as she watches him go off. She didn't like it, really and truly didn't like it, but he had a point. "That's just... I couldn't. I won't." She shakes her head and takes hers and Cain's plates into the kitchen to clean. She keeps herself kind of small, hoping the others won't notice her. But I'll have to, won't I? She looks at the guys timidly, trying not to see them as predators.

The rest of the guys have already gone to bed... but Bea might notice a note left for her, in Mason's handwriting. It says, 'We're all here for you. Take you time, accept who you are, and don't worry. Nothing can be as bad as the zombies were.'

She shakes her head and sets the note back down. "If only it were that easy, Mason." She cleans off the rest of the dishes and leaves the kitchen like she found it. She takes a look around it and smiles. "Thanks, Sam." She heads into her bunk, opening the door slowly in anticipation of something like the kitchen again.

Surprisingly, it is relativly the same. Long ago the boys agreed that the bed rooms were sacred, and not to be touched. There are four gifts, however. Some rare spices that Mason found, a book on how a girls body works from Sam, a diary from Mason, and a... well, let's just say an item that looks like a thing and leave it at that, from Kyle.

Bea looks over the spices and the book. She doesn't even touch Kyle's little gift. She takes the diary and opens it up. "Well, if there's anything worth putting down, it's what I'm going through, I guess." She writes for a good while, filling about 3 pages. She yawns and reads the medical book for a bit before nodding off.

Soon she falls asleep, and the familar banging of a gong wakes her up in the morning. Sun is falling across her face as Cain calls out, "Up and attem! Time for breakfast!" Fortunatly, they found some cerial the night before, so Beatrice doesn't have to cook, if she wants. Nobody would think the worse of her. Well, except maybe Kyle, but nobody really cares what he thinks.

Bea groans and sits up. She stretches a bit and freezes when she notices her body again. "Gah!" She leaps out of the bed and takes a couple of calming breaths. "Aw man. I hoped it was a dream..." She shakes her head and goes out to the bathroom, checking to see if anyone else is using it.
