Natsuki looks over the scrolls Rina pointed carefully.

[Kumi-chan]

The first scroll unrolls as they manage to open it. The scroll does seem to be old but it is oddly well kept. There doesn't seem to be any signs of decay on it besides a few tears around the edges. It is clear that it is written in Japanese characters. It basically tells a legend of the gods that once took care of the world and helped the people of it but one day after their warrior defeated a great darkness they left the world to develop on its own.

Hitomi jumps up running along a fence skipping over to a roof top as she runs along she dodges the shots coming from the soldiers.

[Haylie]

Kahn runs behind Hitomi, also doing her best to avoid enemy fire, occasionally slowing down to provide covering fire, being careful not to actually hit the soldiers.

[Sasha]

Natsuki reads it carefully.

[Hira Kanaki]

"So could you make out anything from the scroll?" Rina said.

[Kumi-chan]

Hitomi jumps down from the roof tops landing on the ground gracefully. She assumes Kahn is right behind her waiting for her to land on the ground.
The soldiers slow down, going for cover whenever they see Kahn getting ready to take a shot, they not realizing she is just trying to give the two some cover. However when Kahn goes to jump down from the roof one of the soldiers fires off a long range sniper shot at her leg.

"Does it say anything about how we can defeat this darkness that we are facing now?" Erika asked.

[Haylie]

Khan just barely spots the sniper, then only after he fires, and her cat-reflexes aren't quite enough to get her out of the way in time. The bullet grazes her leg, but it's enough to slow her down considerably. She does her best to keep up with Hitomi, but she's much slower, and can't help but grunt every time she steps.

"OW! Stupid sniper! I'm the good guy, and therefore the only one allowed to snipe at stuff!"

[Sasha]

Natsuki nods. " Its about the gods who use to care for the world."

[Kumi-chan]

Hitomi helps hold onto Khan to keep her from loosing her balance. Khan would notice that there isn't a mark from the shot at all, there shot having been a form of energies in the shape of a fine beam. Khan's leg however is searing in intense pain and numbness, she should be able to keep on going though.
"You okay cat?" Hitomi asks before helping her to walk along a bit holding up Khan as she keeps on going onward.

[Haylie]

"Ow! I think so. I can keep going, it's just gonna be a bit harder." She turns quickly to make sure the soldiers aren't following.

[Kumi-chan]

Hitomi nods letting Khan continue on if she want to alone. "We need to hurry." She starts to run along going a bit slower to let Khan keep pace with her running down a back walkway.

[Haylie]

"I'm hurryin'! I'm hurryin'!" She's limping severely, but she is indeed hurryin' beside Hitomi.

[Kumi-chan]

Hitomi notices Khan limping and goes back to her side silently. She helps Khan move on to where ever Hitomi is taking them. Just as they go around the corner the soldiers arrive to the area they were just in. Hitomi suddenly turns and heads up to one of the buildings, if Khan can remember from when Kelly first arrived with the others in this world they are at the apartment complex they first arrived at in this world. "You alright cat?"

[Haylie]

"My name's Khan. I'm fine, keep going." She's still limping rather badly, but she's got spirit. "Hey, why're we back here? Are we done already?"
