The blurry sight of the nurse's office sent a shiver through Mandy, as it brought back terrifying memories of jabs and shots during her school days, but she smiled at the sound of Ms. Vale's voice. "Oh, don't worry about the dress, Ms. Vale, I have plenty of other tennis dresses... and... I didn't fall. Esper Gomez hit me in the face with a tennis ball... but I think it was probably an accident. My glasses broke though... ", she explained, blushing as the woman came to dap at her nose.

Having the flowers shoved in her face, Stephanie has a slight frown for a moment, before forcing a smile back. "Oh, yes, I like them. Thanks, Drew." She says, setting the flowers down on a table for a moment, before turning back to Drew. "I'll fix them up later." Saying this, Stephanie then begins to look her...boyfriend over a bit.

"An accident, hm? I'm looking at this nose of yours, and this doesn't look like it was caused by an accident." After a few more pats on her nose, Mandy felt the nurse fix something around her neck and in her hair. The thing around her neck was a tad tight, and from the texture of it, it seemed to be made of some kind of leather. "Don't worry, sweetie. These will help your nose heal up. Oh, and here are your glasses! They're in my hand right over here!"

---

Drew was... Well, less than decent. He was dressed in a formal suit that looked two sizes too large on him, and the tie around his neck was fixed on in a lazy, haphazard way. His brown hair, shiny and slicked back, did nothing to cover his sharp-nosed, slightly oily face. A pair of black-framed, thicker than normal glasses sat on his nose, but it constantly kept sliding down his slippery nostrils.

"So, uh, are you ready for our dinner? I have a reservation at that restaurant you've always wanted to go to! You know, the one with the seafood?"

---

"No, I won't be mad. You never told me about what changed you into this, though, and where did you get these clothes? They look so... Exotic!" Rein's mom rubbed a hand along Rein's gold-lined outfit, intrigued by its design.

Hmm... *Richard sticks the egg in his pocket as he walks home. Luckily, his apartment isn't that far away.*

Luckily indeed--wouldn't want to get yolk all over the inside of his pocket, right? That would be messy business, and a waste of $8.00, besides.
After just a few minutes however, Richard arrives back at his apartment, finding things much as he left it. The place wasn't much, perhaps, but it was a place to live, and a place to keep possibly magical rainbow eggs besides that, so no reason to complain, right?
Of course, that said, it was a pretty small place to live--cramped even, some might say--but with his roommate away on business, he had all five rooms of the place to himself for the week, so it wasn't all bad.
The only real question, was where to keep the egg? It felt just as still now as it had previously...but maybe some place warm would be ideal? With a little furnishing, the spot above the heater could do, maybe.

The man in the black cloak takes a few minutes to thoroughly investigate the contents of the case. "Everything in it seems rather ordinary at first blush, but you know how some talismans like to hide their nature." He checks to see exactly what forms of make-up are in the case. "Even if it is something as simple as an endless supply, that could be useful. Hmm..." He considers his findings.

((I'm envisioning the case as one of those box things that hold every type of makeup you can imagine. Are we on the same page?))

[Yes indeed.]

The man's investigation goes about like one might expect--soon he has familiarized himself fairly well with the contents of the case. A pity, that said contents really don't seem all that exciting, beyond the sheer variety of various foundations, blush, eyeliner, etc. that seem to be contained within. Indeed--when unpacking it, it almost seems like the contents won't fit back in, but this just seems to be a trick of the eye when the time comes to pack them back away.
Paulette looks back to him after sending Richard on his way, idly prodding at her hairband.

"Well...I've been told that this whole place 's full of magic items...sir. I don't know what that one does, but whatever it is, you can have it for $9.99, if you like...But if not, I can find y'something else to look at, I guess."

Looking over Drew, Stephanie was really...put off, and began to wonder just why had the Stephanie beforehand even decided to go out with this...geek? Pausing for a moment, Stephanie frowns. "Oh, wait! I almost forgot my purse! Be back in a bit!" Slowly and carefully heading back upstairs, Stephanie goes to retrieve her purse, and once in her room, just shakes her head in disgust. "What do I see in him?" She says, before sighing. "I'll give it the dinner...after that...yeah..." Shaking her head once more, Stephanie slowly heads back downstairs after retrieving her purse that matched her outfit, hopefully, and checked to make sure everything was in it. As she makes it back to the front door, Stephanie beams at Drew. "Ready."

Mandy shifted a little as she felt something going around her neck and in her hair. "Really, Ms. Vale, I don't think Esper would do it on purpose... My glasses? You fixed them?", she asked in a hopeful tone, and started to reach a hand towards the blur, her skinny legs taking a step closer, while her other hand brushed at her neck. The soothing voice had relaxed her, and she hadn't thought to ask what it was, but now it did seem a bit odd to her. "Ms. Vale...? What's this thing around my neck?".

Hrmm... *Richard grabs a small pillow from the couch sets it atop the heater, the egg resting on it.*

"Magic store? Muggers? Praying? It all sounds so hard to believe... But there's no use denying the truth when it's staring you in the face." After a moment of thought, Rein's mom took her daughter's hand and began to walk up the stairs towards the second floor of the house. "If you're going to stay like this for the rest of the night, then you'll need to wear something more comfortable. I have some old dresses that I'm sure are your size."

---

"Great! Um... We can take your car over to the restaurant? I had to, uh, take the cab over here because my car is in repairs, so... Yep. Besides, I did buy you that car in the first place. You know, for your birthday! It was the model you always wanted." Drew glowed with pride as he remembered how he spent almost all of his life savings to get such a great gift for his girlfriend. He wanted to make his beautiful girlfriend as happy as possible, even if it meant going broke.

---

As Mandy grabbed the glasses and slid them over her eyes, she saw not the kindly face of Nurse Vale, but the sinister mug of Esper, snickering in delight as she snapped on a leash to the collar she just wrapped around Mandy's neck!

"It's a collar, my pet, and you're going to wear it every time you go to school this whole year. You didn't think I forgot about that bet we made on the courts, did you?" She cooed as she softly petted Mandy on the head. "Oh, and you'll have to wear those pointy dog ears too. I hope you like them, because if you ever decide to take them off, then you'll have to wear them for another year!"

Mandy's eyes took a moment to focus before they widened and her mouth fell open to find herself gazing up at Esper. She blushed brightly as the older girl snapped a leash onto the thing around her neck, and she started to tug at it, before reaching up to feel the top of her head. "Esper... I'm sorry!". She couldn't believe the person that had made her feel so safe and relaxed was actually Esper! Her hands grasped the sides of the sexy teenager's dress, looking up at her while her head was petted. A shiver ran down her spine as Esper coo'd. "I'll tell coach what you did was an accident... you'll get put back on the team!".

"Oh, well, sure! And I'm really happy that you bought it for me for my birthday." Stephanie says, smiling and giving Drew a little peck on the cheek, and she begins to think to herself a bit, wondering just why he had bought her the car. Letting Drew head out first, although waiting for him to possibly recover from the kiss, Stephanie then shut and locked the door behind her after turning off the lights. Leaving the outside light on, she then heads on over to her car and hops in, ready to get going.

"Oh, please! No matter what that brawny ***** of a coach says, the school will never kick me out of the team. I'm way too important for them to do that. Now, come here. I've got something else to show you."

Esper tugged on the leash, forcing Mandy to come to her side and follow her. The older girl led her to a nearby gym bag, which she opened up to reveal... A dog costume? It was covered with faux brown fur, and there was even a bushy tail on the back.

"I can't have my pet walk around in a bloody dress, so take this to that closet over there and change into it. You're not leaving this room until you do!"

---

"Rein, you'll attract too much unwanted attention wearing such a fancy outfit. You need something a bit more normal to wear." Mom took Rein into her bedroom, a cozy place with light blue walls and soft lighting. She rummaged around in a nearby cabinet for a moment before coming out with a plain white sundress. It was simple, but looked pretty nonetheless. "I wore this when I was a girl around your age. You should try it on and see if it fits."

---

Drew swooned as Stephanie smiled at him and even gave him a kiss on the cheek. They didn't even go on the date yet, and it was already the best night of his life!

"U-Um, coming, Stephanie." He stuttered dreamily, still euphoric from the kiss. In a haze, he slowly made his way towards the car and slid into the passenger seat. "Here's the address, on this paper..."

Mandy stumbled forward, her face almost bumping right up against Esper's breasts. It was a really weird one to try and explain, but she actually felt safer with the collar on. Back on the tennis court, Esper had looked so angry, and Mandy had really feared getting beaten up... but atleast this way, she didn't think she was going to get hurt, since Esper was going to have fun by simply humiliating her. Her cheeks went bright red as she pulled the dog costume from the gym bag, and then let out a sigh. Biting her lip, she bundled it up and went to the closet, where a few moments later, her bloodied white tennis dress was tossed out. There was a longer delay now, and then she finally stepped out in the all-in-one brown furred costume, like a giant baby sleeper.
