Flinching at the pun, Paulette gives the man a nod. Unbearable was right--was she really working for this guy?
As the girl looked back to the man in black expectantly, it made her sigh to realize that the answer at this point was, unfortunately, a definite yes. She'd signed the contract not once, but twice by this point, so it was hard to make a mistake. It was, however, humiliating.
"Right...well, are you thinking you want to buy that, then...?"
Looking back to the man in black nonplussed, she taps her foot, and then stops, thinking better of it. Her...boss was right here, after all.

Meanwhile! Back in Richard's apartment, Richard settles back down with his laptop to write. Literature was actually an interesting class, all things considered, so in theory, this paper shouldn't be too difficult Unfortunately, in practice, this was seeming to be not the case. Usually he wasn't too much a procrastinator, but today he just couldn't seem to keep his thoughts together--he'd taken that walk to go clear his egg, and ended up buying that silly egg, for goodness sakes.
After a few minutes however, Richard finds himself finally starting to settle into the writing, having finally plowed through the introduction, and was typing away, with minimal pause.
He's gotten about halfway through, when...he realizes that he's sweating. That's weird, isn't it? He had the heat turned up, but not THAT high...
