(Sorry for the late update, folks. It's only going to get worse from here though. I've got a lot of work coming these next few weeks, so don't expect things to be moving along any time soon.)
The restaurant, Azure Harbor, was packed, and for a good reason. It was one of the classiest establishments in town, known for its great seafood, excellent service, and refined atmosphere. Only one complaint could be held against it: It took forever to get a table! A normal person would have reserve a table months in advance, and even then it wasn't a guarantee. Fortunately, Stephanie and Drew were not normal people...
"I'm glad that I got my father to pull some strings so that we could go on this date. I mean, if I didn't have him, we'd probably have to go eat at a burger joint or something." Gathering himself up and making himself look as presentable as possible, Drew linked his arm with her girlfriend's. "So, shall we?"

(Hmm... If Stray doesn't respond soon, should we move on without him?)

"Rein, dresses like that don't have pockets. You'll have to use a purse. Here, take mine for the time-being. You'll need the list inside to find out what to buy anyway." Rein's mother hands him her purse, a fashionable little piece with leather straps and a diamond-shaped design on the outside.

Chrissie was in just as much torment as Mandy was, but she kept on a strong, brave face. Though the pony-tailed girl said absolutely nothing, Mandy could tell by the glint in her eyes that she had already forgiven her friend.
After what seemed to be an eternity of being forced down the hallways of the high school, Mandy and Chrissie finally arrive at the double doors leading into the cafeteria. The chatter of students could be heard inside... Which meant only even more pain for the dog duo.
"What are you mutts waiting for? Go inside." Esper ordered, her foot tapping on the ground impatiently. "I want to show the whole school my two newest pets... So do as I say, or else."
