(Sorry for the late update, folks. It's only going to get worse from here though. I've got a lot of work coming these next few weeks, so don't expect things to be moving along any time soon.)

The restaurant, Azure Harbor, was packed, and for a good reason. It was one of the classiest establishments in town, known for its great seafood, excellent service, and refined atmosphere. Only one complaint could be held against it: It took forever to get a table! A normal person would have reserve a table months in advance, and even then it wasn't a guarantee. Fortunately, Stephanie and Drew were not normal people...

"I'm glad that I got my father to pull some strings so that we could go on this date. I mean, if I didn't have him, we'd probably have to go eat at a burger joint or something." Gathering himself up and making himself look as presentable as possible, Drew linked his arm with her girlfriend's. "So, shall we?"

---

(Hmm... If Stray doesn't respond soon, should we move on without him?)

---

"Rein, dresses like that don't have pockets. You'll have to use a purse. Here, take mine for the time-being. You'll need the list inside to find out what to buy anyway." Rein's mother hands him her purse, a fashionable little piece with leather straps and a diamond-shaped design on the outside.

---

Chrissie was in just as much torment as Mandy was, but she kept on a strong, brave face. Though the pony-tailed girl said absolutely nothing, Mandy could tell by the glint in her eyes that she had already forgiven her friend.

After what seemed to be an eternity of being forced down the hallways of the high school, Mandy and Chrissie finally arrive at the double doors leading into the cafeteria. The chatter of students could be heard inside... Which meant only even more pain for the dog duo.

"What are you mutts waiting for? Go inside." Esper ordered, her foot tapping on the ground impatiently. "I want to show the whole school my two newest pets... So do as I say, or else."

Mandy had never been the sort of person to rule over others. At work, she took comfort in having a boss that handled the pressure and responsibility, and took care if big decisions. In a bizarre way, she took the same sort of comfort from Esper. She was still embarrassed, her bright red face showed that... but she didn't feel miserable. Her wide eyes peered up at Esper as they stopped outside the cafeteria, and she found her breath taken away by how inpressive her schoolgirl mistress looked, towering above her. "You won't hurt us anymore... right, Esper?", she asked, before sucking in a deep breath and crawled into the cafeteria, the noise making her heart race.

((Sorry, hectic end of last week, I just wanted to turn my brain off all weekend. Back now!))

The man in black had been pouring over the case, still, though now he was muttering under his breath and was holding something small in his hand. After a few moments more, he looked up suddenly, blinking rapidly as he looked around. He cleared his throat a bit awkwardly when Winters came in, and hadn't even seemed to have noticed the other man storm out. "Ah, pardon me, just getting a sense of its aura. It seems I went in a bit too deep..." He pauses, and digs a wallet out from somewhere in the folds of his cloak. "$10, was it? A steal, I daresay." He nods to Winters, looking slightly awkward, before offering a $10 bill to Paulette.

Though Paulette wouldn't have been able to tell, Winters wouldn't have had any trouble seeing that the young man's magical technique, while competent, was far from mastery level...

As his body cools, Richard looks down to see his skin fading from a heated red back to a more normal hue. What may interest him more, however, is what's happened with his clothes--a lot of it does seem to have burned away, to be sure, but what's left...is different. His arms--his legs...they seem to have been left...slimmer, for one thing...his pants are entirely gone, in fact, so he can see his curvy new hairless legs quite well, from the new reddish skirt to his feminine greaves, which he can tell now seem to end in high heels of all things...

[No problem. Happy to have you back.]

Indeed, to Paulette, more then anything else, the man strikes her as a bit strange. Maybe he was actually sensing an aura for all she knew...but the realist in her still couldn't help but paint the guy as a weirdo.
But!
As the man pulls out the cash, she musters a genuine smile, taking the money cheerfully. With this...it meant that she wouldn't be stuck awkwardly pretending to be a salesgirl!

"Thank you very much...sir. I hope you enjoy the purchase."

There! That was more like it--with any luck, Winters would be pleased...and she could finally get out of the awkward situation. Fidgeting, she pulls at her dress idly. Maybe she could get some pants, too.

W-what the hell kinda fire is this...? *Once he's sure the fire on him his out, Richard steps out of the shower - slowly, since he has no idea how to walk in heels - and pokes his head out of the bathroom.*

Awkwardly, Richard crawls out of the bathtub, very nearly falling down more then once from the combination of heels, and the fact that the metal boots don't seem to have a ton of traction when inside a tub. That...and for some reason his center of balance feels...off. Was he this top-heavy before...?
Finally righting himself, Richard stands before the mirror...and gets his answer.
Looking back out at him, framed by fiery red locks that seem to have more curls then he'd ever had in his life, is a smooth, somewhat feminine face, a look of shock in the large yellow eyes...and the ears--are they...pointy?
And looking down--he didn't see it before, amidst the fire and steam...but could that be--cleavage?!

What? How...? *Richard pokes at his apparent breasts, as though to make sure they're real, and he's not just dreaming.*

The young man returns Paulette's smile as he finished closing the case. "As do I, as do I. I intend to come back here again sometime soon, take a long browse of your wares." He hesitates a long moment. "Which makes me think... are you always in on specific days of the week, or is your schedule here more amorphous?"

Poking--with his supple, thin new fingers--Richard will feel that, indeed, the breasts seem to be real. In fact...once he(...?) pokes them once...he can't stop feeling them. It's incredible he hadn't noticed them immediately, what with how they're pressed up in his...her corset, it's suddenly impossible to ignore them!
It may occur to him though--as a warm breeze blows past Richard's bare legs--that something...more important seems to have changed. Something...important.
But--as if to get all the surprises out at once, even as Richard considers things...he hears a sound back from whence he came--a faint, quiet sound, like that of an animal crying out.

---

"My--my schedule?"

Paulette blinks at this strange twist. Surely, he couldn't mean--?

"I--er. Every other day, I think.."

Unconsciously, the girl reddens slightly. Why had she told him that!? This body...this whole situation was making her jumpy. Normally she wasn't so prone to blurting things out like that.

Showers of laughter greeted Mandy and Chrissie whe they crawled into the cafeteria. The juniors, the seniors, the sophomores, the freshmen, and even some of the faculty couldn't help but burst into bouts of "Ha!"s as the two were led by their master Esper to the table usually reserved for the most prestigious of the high school's students. There sat their meals... Two lovely bright red dog bowls, filled to the brim with lumps of indescribable meat.

"Here's your lunch, my darlings. I bought for you both the best food food money can buy. Now, eat my food like any dog should. No utensils, no hands... Just throw your face into it."

---

The Valkyrie in Rein's medallion, sensing his mental distress, attempted to speak to him and figure out what ailed the contemplative woman.

Come now, tell me what is on your mind. Are you still worried about not regaining your manhood?... You should not be! In the many centuries I've existed in on this earth, there were few I ever bestowed the blessing of the Valkyries upon! You may not return to normal, but you will be the envy of all who lay eyes on you!

---

Samuel, amused by his assistant's flustered expression, let a slight grin form on his face, but the majority of his thoughts were elsewhere. This man in front of them... From what the store owner sensed, he had some experience in the magical arts, but not enough to truly accomplish any great feats just yet. Most likely, the customer trained himself on how to use magic. Dangerous... But still, there could be potential in this one.

"I am terribly sorry to interrupt, but I do not believe I introduced myself earlier. I am Samuel Winters, the proprietor of this shop. What is your name?"

Despite being used to people making fun of her, Mandy still blushed at the chorus of laughter as they crawled through the cafeteria while Esper and her friend held the leashes. Her eyes widened a little as she saw the table they were being taken to, before noticing the bowls. After Esper intstructed then to eat, she leaned closer to Christine. "Are you okay?", she whispered. "Atleast they won't beat us up anymore, right", she minutes before leaning down over the bowl, opening her mouth wide as her nose and cheeks went right into the food, and used her tongue to get at the meat. Slowly chewing it, she looked across to Chrissie again.

O-oh my... *Richard blushes at the sudden rush of new sensations, particulary the... loss, below. Then, hearing the noise outside, he (she?) opens the door and looks out.*
