Ellen: ...I was giving her my opinion on catboys and catgirls, yes. I wasn't trying to be insulting, though... my own brother is a member of their species.

"I guess she just thought you were being insulting." He said, giving a shrug.

Ellen: *sourly* ...Well, that's a first. I don't think I've ever been accused of that.

"I, well, I don't know her name, really..." Sam says, frowning.

Sam pauses for a moment. "Um, she was a little younger than me, I think..."

"It happens sometimes." Ashley answered, drinking some milk. "Sometimes people can just get their wires crossed by accident when they are talking to one another."
