*She phases through!... She also may recall an illusion dispelling technique: A particular handsign and the word 'kai'*


*The ray blasts a hole straight into Mendi's side!... But she still holds, even if she's getting weaker. The energy continues to rush forward*
T-that... was not nice...

[Blaze]

Blaze rolls her eyes.

"Wish Boss made his lessons more memorable. And consistent."

She makes the handseal and mutters, "Kai."

Alex whimpers as the energy starts to take hold.

"Neither is this..."

She fires again with a wider bore!

[Mendi-chan]

*The trees seem to disappear like smoke, revealing the true forest path that she was on... She had walked in circles for all this time.*

*The ray decimates the woman's lower body, leaving only her upper section clutching to Alex... But the energy continues feeding into her, even if it's gradually getting weaker.*
Y-you... little... I... I don't look cute like this....

[Blaze]

"..."

Blaze flies back at top speed!

"Go awayyyyyyyyyyyyy~!"

Alex keeps firing! BEAM SPAM!

[Mendi-chan]

*She finds... not a whole lot of resistance. The path is clear... Minus the ray blasts in the distance*


*Blast after blast nails Mendi... until... after a moment or two... there seems to be nothing left. Unfortunately it seems as if the strange energy was settled somewhere within Alex though, even if she couldn't quite place where it was.*

[Blaze]

Blaze arrives in the clearing with Alex!

"Alex! What happened?"
"I blasted her... but she did something bad..."

[Mendi-chan]

*A tingling sensation may occur within Alex... where she feels the energy burrow deep within her psyche. It's a rather... unsettling feeling. As if someone else had just taken residence within her mind and was making themselves at home... But it wasn't enough to bother Blaze with. She'd prolly think she was silly.*

[Blaze]

Blaze looks at Alex with concern.

"What bad thing?"
"Uh... it's nuthin~"

[Mendi-chan]

*Yeah... It was nuthin'... In fact, maybe she needed to say that more to Blaze whenever she asked questions. Blaze seemed extra silly now, and Alex definitely didn't need to tell her everything anymore.*

[Blaze]

Alex giggles a bit as Blaze blinks.

"Wait... does this mean you killed Mendo?!"

[Mendi-chan]

*Well, isn't that a little rude! Blaze could probably stand to wait to here Alex's answer... at least that's what the little voice her her head is telling her... Besides, Mendo was a meanie anyways.*

[Blaze]

"Awww, Mendo was silly anyway~" ^__^

Blaze goes silent... before hugging Alex!

[Mendi-chan]

*Aw! That was nice... Well... at least the strange feeling in the pit of her chest seemed to have quieted down. For the moment, Alex and Blaze are left alone to deal with the fact that Mendo/i was nowhere to be found.*

[Blaze]

Blaze is no fool. She recognizes possession when she sees it. Besides, if Mendo/i were really dead, there would be a death crystal left behind. She takes out a strange contraption consisting of a circle of wires attacked to a cuboid machine. Extending from the circle was some kind of headgear and what resembles a giant mechanical electrode which Blaze puts on Alex's head and chest respectively. She then lays Alex down inside the circle, which puts up a barrier around her.

"Long time since I had to do this...."

Blaze puts on her own headgear connected to the cuboid machine and lies down outside the circle.

"Dive in 3... 2... 1... DIVE!"

The machine gives off a loud hum as it project's Blaze into Alex's mind!

"Mendi! Get out here!"

[Mendi-chan]

*Mendi walks forward into the mindscape slowly, dark energy spreading onto the ground wherever she stepped.*
You're a rather persistent little one, aren't you Blaze? Can't you just accept that I'm cuter than you? ^_^
