Pt. 4: A New Hope?

[Maiden Miki]

Mary grins as she sees Francesca laying down on the ground. Staying away and up in the air, hovering above her, Mary looks down at Francesca. "Valiant effort, woman, valiant effort. But, I think it's about time I take my prize and leave."

"She...is no damn prize! She my....kid!" said Francesca as she was slowly trying to get back up by propping herself against her katana. Francesca fell but was about to get back up.

[Shy Shay]

Shay panics, takes a quick look around, and then breaths fire up at the clone!

[Marky]

"Mmm... sorry, having seen one." She said, shaking her head. Her eyes then lit up as she leaned forward. "Ooooo, you know, I've never met you before! I know a few of the Hasanos though. They were nice enough to let me live here." She blinks. "Um... so why you looking for some person?"

Konoko disappears amidst the foliage, and as she does, spikes suddenly shoot out of the ground and attempt to pierce all three clones through.

The Mary clone shakes her head. "Nothing you need to know." She says, before starting to wander off.

As the spikes shoot out from the ground two of the clones are caught and skewered, but the third is able to just barely dodge it and teleport up into the air. "Damnit! The hell?!" She yells, looking around, angrily, while the two outside get the feeling that something is amiss, heading on inside of the greenhouse.

"She...is no damn prize! She my....kid!" said Francesca as she was slowly trying to get back up by propping herself against her katana. Francesca fell but was about to get back up.

Suddenly the wind seems to pick up around Francesca and, all of a sudden, it's almost like the wind itself is trying to constrict her movements, trying to pry the katana away from her hand while also locking her arms, legs, and neck to where she can move them. All the while, if one would look, they would see Mary's hand grasping at the air as if she's trying to grab a hold of it in her hand, her eyes glowing.

Shay panics, takes a quick look around, and then breaths fire up at the clone!

The clone acks and gets hit by the flames, jumping off of Shay, but unfortunately for him, other than giving the clone some burns, it just proceeds to piss her off, as an orb of energy seems to be forming in her hands.

Suddenly the wind seems to pick up around Francesca and, all of a sudden, it's almost like the wind itself is trying to constrict her movements, trying to pry the katana away from her hand while also locking her arms, legs, and neck to where she can move them. All the while, if one would look, they would see Mary's hand grasping at the air as if she's trying to grab a hold of it in her hand, her eyes glowing.

Francesca gripped her teeth as she was holding on to her katana but because of that she was going to let herself fall but it seems like the wind was keeping her up.

[KonokoHasano]

The Mary clone shakes her head. "Nothing you need to know." She says, before starting to wander off.

As the spikes shoot out from the ground two of the clones are caught and skewered, but the third is able to just barely dodge it and teleport up into the air. "Damnit! The hell?!" She yells, looking around, angrily, while the two outside get the feeling that something is amiss, heading on inside of the greenhouse.

"Oh, alright~" The plant-girl said with a smile. As the clone walked, a spiked root that was laying on the ground quickly attempted to wrap around her ankle and stab it with the spikes.

Konoko proceeded to appear right behind the clone and attempted to jab a clawed hand through her body and rip it to shreds.

Shay gacks! He quickly throws plenty of fire at the clone as he backs up, his feet near the edge of the roof. He also tenses, prepareing to jump.

[Marky]

Francesca gripped her teeth as she was holding on to her katana but because of that she was going to let herself fall but it seems like the wind was keeping her up.

The wind was doing more than keeping her up, it was lifting her up off of the ground and still trying to tear the katana out of her grasp. At the same time, then wind also had basically locked her arms and legs a bit behind her and was keeping them still, while turning her neck and head up just a bit so she could look at Mary as she was being raised up, but still a stiff wind holding her neck, too, to where it would be quite hard to move. A look of malice on Mary's face showed that she was quite serious right now, slowly bringing Francesca towards her in the air.

The clone acks and growls in pain as a spiked root wraps around her ankle and stabs it. "Damnit!" She yells, before taking her axe and quickly trying to cut the root.

The other clone quickly, and just in time, blocks the clawed hand with her axe! The clone tries to hold the axe steady and fire off a blast of ki at Konoko's face!

Meanwhile, sensing that something is going on, the two other clones rush through the greenhouse and into the underground jungle!

Shay gacks! He quickly throws plenty of fire at the clone as he backs up, his feet near the edge of the roof. He also tenses, prepareing to jump.

The clone suddenly sends a wave of orange-colored water straight at Shay, fed up with all of the fire attacks!

[Shy Shay]

Shay seems to... fall down? Though those that can see him can tell that he is floating about a foot above the ground, curled in a ball, and glowing.

[KonokoHasano]

The clone acks and growls in pain as a spiked root wraps around her ankle and stabs it. "Damnit!" She yells, before taking her axe and quickly trying to cut the root.

The other clone quickly, and just in time, blocks the clawed hand with her axe! The clone tries to hold the axe steady and fire off a blast of ki at Konoko's face!

Meanwhile, sensing that something is going on, the two other clones rush through the greenhouse and into the underground jungle!

She cuts the root off, with thrashes a little before falling to the ground. Though, Mary might notice a bit of liquid oozing out of where she was stabbed by the spikes.

Konoko bends backwards, allowing the ki blast to sail above her, though it does singe her nose a little. "Nice reflexes, Mary. Honestly, I don't approve of you sneaking around my mansion, because it's just not nice. I could have asked you to leave, but I knew that you wouldn't."

As the other two Mary's enter the underground jungle, they are jumped by a couple of Konoko clones who attempt to stab them through with some swords.

The clone quickly rushes over toward the edge as she sees Shay fall down. Seeing, however, that he is curled into a ball, a foot above the ground below and glowing, the clone blinks and growls, a bit frustrated, before a lightning bolt suddenly crashed down from the sky, aimed right at Shay!

She cuts the root off, with thrashes a little before falling to the ground. Though, Mary might notice a bit of liquid oozing out of where she was stabbed by the spikes.

Konoko bends backwards, allowing the ki blast to sail above her, though it does singe her nose a little. "Nice reflexes, Mary. Honestly, I don't approve of you sneaking around my mansion, because it's just not nice. I could have asked you to leave, but I knew that you wouldn't."

The Mary clone frowns and grumbles a bit, looking down at the liquid oozing out of where she was stabbed. "Not good..." She says, before grumbling and trudging on, before sensing the ki blast and darting back the way she came! Well, as fast as she can with the pain in her foot.

The clone with Konoko growls a little bit as the ki blast missed. "We're searching for someone...and since you're in here, I think I got a good feeling he's here."

One of the clones is caught, but the other, catching her fallen clone's axe, tries to fend off the two Konoko clones as best she can!

Francesca keeps holding on to her katana as she looks at Sam.

"What the heck do you want now," said Francesca as she tries to move a bit.

The wind then doubly makes sure Francesca can't move the arm with the katana as Francesca is brought to within a few feet of Mary. "Just to give you some parting advice, and perhaps if you want your daughter back quicker, I might be willing to give her back to you as soon as you bring me the last remaining clone of Mark. Do that, and your daughter will be given back, unharmed."

The wind then doubly makes sure Francesca can't move the arm with the katana as Francesca is brought to within a few feet of Mary. Do that, and your daughter will be given back, unharmed."

Francesca doesn't even have the strenght to move her katana but makes sure to hold on to it.

"Not sure I can help you with that Mark issue of yours seeing that as far as I know...he is gone," said Francesca with acid in her voice. SHe was trying to move away but found that hard. "Though what advice you could tell me...."

[KonokoHasano]

The Mary clone frowns and grumbles a bit, looking down at the liquid oozing out of where she was stabbed. "Not good..." She says, before grumbling and trudging on, before sensing the ki blast and darting back the way she came! Well, as fast as she can with the pain in her foot.

The clone with Konoko growls a little bit as the ki blast missed. "We're searching for someone...and since you're in here, I think I got a good feeling he's here."

As the Mary clone runs, she would feel a slow prickling through her body as the poison was pumped through her body. The prickling quickly becoming painful...

"You don't say." Konoko said, looking at the clone. "Though, to be perfectly honest, you're a little too violent and mean, so the idea of letting you hang around my place isn't one I like. What would you do if I WAS hiding Mark here? Would you bust into my home and destroy my property? Putting my family members in danger along the way?" She frowns, her eyes glowing. "You do realize how much you are reading on thin ice, do you not?"

One of the Konoko clones shifted to slime and attempted to cover the Mary clone!

Shay is hit! However, nothing much seems to happen to him... seeing as he is not touching the ground, he actually isn't that hurt. He is sparking a bit. And he continues to glow. By now he is positivly radiating heat.

[Marky]

Francesca doesn't even have the strenght to move her katana but makes sure to hold on to it.

"Not sure I can help you with that Mark issue of yours seeing that as far as I know...he is gone," said Francesca with acid in her voice. SHe was trying to move away but found that hard. "Though what advice you could tell me...."

Mary giggles a little bit. "And here I thought you knew a lot of stuff around here. See, Mark is...ALMOST gone. There's just two left...the original, which I have, and then one clone remaining, which I need. And since I'm sensing some things off toward the Hasano Mansion, I have a good feeling Konoko might just know. So, if you would be so kind, please deliver him to me. And, here, I think I'll help you on your way."

The wind picks up once again, this time turning Francesca's back toward the direction of the Hasano Mansion. Suddenly, Mary pulls her hands back as wind begins to gather around her and in her hands, compressing and compacting, until, suddenly, Mary sends the full force of it at Francesca, which sends her flying away, toward the Hasano Mansion. "FORE!!!" Mary yells, as she watches Francesca fly away, giggling a bit.

As the Mary clone runs, she would feel a slow prickling through her body as the poison was pumped through her body. The prickling quickly becoming painful...

"You don't say." Konoko said, looking at the clone. "Though, to be perfectly honest, you're a little too violent and mean, so the idea of letting you hang around my place isn't one I like. What would you do if I WAS hiding Mark here? Would you bust into my home and destroy my property? Putting my family members in danger along the way?" She frowns, her eyes glowing. "You do realize how much you are reading on thin ice, do you not?"

One of the Konoko clones shifted to slime and attempted to cover the Mary clone!

"Agh, damn thing!" The clone curses, slowing her run a good bit, looking down at her leg, worriedly.

The clone growls. "Perhaps...but the fact that you decided to lead us in here, instead of go and outright attack us says something." She says, before suddenly trying to charge up ki blast once again!

Turning toward the one shifting to slime, the clone acks as she is covered in the Kono-slime!

The clone raises an eyebrow as it looks on. "Interesting..." She says, standing there and watching for the moment, curious as to what is happening with Shay.
