Pt. 4: A New Hope?

Stretching a little after that, Konoko quickly combined back with her clones and headed out of the green-house, making her way back towards and into the mansion. She could sense Francesca and Mike were there, and so was feeling a bit curious.

"Hey Francesca, Mike." She said as she walked into the living room. "I was just dealing with some Mary clones just now. I probably should have tried to catch them instead of kill them, though..." She thinks for a moment before shaking her head. "Anyway, what brings you two here?"

[Maiden Miki]

Stretching a little after that, Konoko quickly combined back with her clones and headed out of the green-house, making her way back towards and into the mansion. She could sense Francesca and Mike were there, and so was feeling a bit curious.

"Hey Francesca, Mike." She said as she walked into the living room. "I was just dealing with some Mary clones just now. I probably should have tried to catch them instead of kill them, though..." She thinks for a moment before shaking her head. "Anyway, what brings you two here?"

"Well it seems like you missed out on the real Mary then," said Mike as he looked at Konoko and then chuckled a bit. "Maybe I should have help you after all since I was planning on capturing her."

"Enough with the flirting Mike," said Francesca as she punched him. Mike rubbed his the spot on the arm that he was hit and sighed. Francesca then spoke, "That damn Mary took my daughter Sam and now she wants me to hand deliver maybe the last Mark clone in order to guarantee the safety of my kid."

"That is the idea," said Mike as he tilts his hat a bit.

[KonokoHasano]

"Yeah, I would have worked on kicking the ass of the real Mary if she came on over, but I had to deal with a few clones." Konoko said, shaking her head. She then went silent as she stared directly at Francesca. "... she took your daughter? In that case, Mary needs to get her ass handed to her even more. Though I could question why the hell she took Sam..."

She then scratched her head a little. "As for the last Mark clone... we managed to convert a Mary to a Mark earlier, so now there's two..."

[Marky]

The water evaporates upon contact with Shay! He is also burning a path through the ground. He lets loose an inhuman scream, waves of fire comeing out off his mouth as he still speeds up, crashing and or melting everything in his path.

The Eevee is released! It looks around. "...Eev- eevee?" It looks up at Mary with a questioning look.

The clone quickly teleports a good 10 more blocks ahead at the inhuman scream. "The hell is he?!" The clone yells, before suddenly summoning a wall of water, going the length of between her and Shay, continuing to spread towards her as Shay heads toward her.

Mary smiles as she slowly reaches down to pick up the Eevee. "Hello there, little one." She says, actually quite sincerely.

((...and perhaps I should've said something for you two to maybe not converse or so? >.<))

Looking on, Mark looks ready to ask a few questions here and there, but then gets cut off quite a lot, before just sighing. "Yeah...we captured a clone earlier and turned her back to normal. He's resting at the moment. Probably won't be too long till he's recovered, though. And, honestly...I don't get why she would take Sam...although if I remember correctly, we did know a Sam from back home, but...nah, couldn't be. Anyways...what all did she say about Sam?"

Meanwhile, outside of Muffinville, still a few miles away, Sam sighs a little and sits down, tired, under a random tree. "Maaaaaaaaan...why is it so far out here?"

[Shy Shay]

Shay just speeds up, fire radiating from his body... the water doesn't even slow him down! Steam comes from the viel of water, his tail wipping around like crazy, taking down buildings that it runs into.

He screams in an unearthly, shattering sound. "YOU... WILL... DIE!!!!!"

By now he is almost in hands reach of the clone!


The Eevee blinks as it is picked up. "Eevee eevee?"

Konoko blinks a little, staring directly at Mark. "You knew a Sam from where you're from?"

Meanwhile, outside of Muffinville, still a few miles away, Sam sighs a little and sits down, tired, under a random tree. "Maaaaaaaaan...why is it so far out here?"

"Hey, I think I know you..." Ashley said as he stopped walking.

[Maiden Miki]

"Tell me! Tell me all you know about this Sam!" said Francesca as she got close and pulled out a notepad and pen that she had glowed. "I been trying to dig up information about my Sam and found nothing. If this Sam is the same as my Sam then I want to know."

"Sam is a strange character. I always thought she was a clone of you or something," said Mike as he just listen. "Thought that after our fight that you got TF to become Sam or something."

[Marky]

As soon as Shay comes within hands reach of the clone, the clone seems to dissipate into the wind, as the wind itself begins to pick up around the clone!


Mary smiles a little bit at the Eevee, before, suddenly, slowly pouring orange energy into it as she is holding the Eevee in her hands.

Konoko blinks a little, staring directly at Mark. "You knew a Sam from where you're from?"


"Hey, I think I know you..." Ashley said as he stopped walking.

((True, true...))

Looking back at Konoko, Mark nods. "Yeah. He was a cousin of mine. Although we kind of had our differences..."


Sam blinkblinks a little and looks over at Ashley. "Ashley~? Is that you~?"

"Tell me! Tell me all you know about this Sam!" said Francesca as she got close and pulled out a notepad and pen that she had glowed. "I been trying to dig up information about my Sam and found nothing. If this Sam is the same as my Sam then I want to know."

Pausing for a moment, Mark blinkblinks a little as he looks between Francesca and Mike, before looking back at Mike. "Heh...really? How so? Even Sam and I aren't really a lot of like...or at least we weren't a lot like...and that fight...yeah...that was a bit before last Christmas, right? If so, that's when it really all began."

Looking back at Francesca, Mark just rubs the back of his head and sighs. "Alright...well, the Sam I knew was male, and was my cousin. He and I had our differences, though, although he wasn't necessarily bad or anything. Although, honestly, since I graduated from high school, I hadn't really seen much of him...we were about the same age, too, and, yeah...there's just no telling how much he has changed since then."

[KonokoHasano]

Looking back at Konoko, Mark nods. "Yeah. He was a cousin of mine. Although we kind of had our differences..."


Sam blinkblinks a little and looks over at Ashley. "Ashley~? Is that you~?"

"Differences? How so?" Konoko asked, raising an eyebrow. She then listened to the conversation and hummed. "The Sam that we know was previously male at some point, right Francesca, Mike?"

"Yeah, it's me." He said, giving a nod as he scratched his head. "What are you doing out here? Gone for a walk or something?"

[Shy Shay]

Shay screams in rage and pillars of fire appear around him, absorbing and burning all of the oxygen in the immediat area.

The Eevee blinks and eeps in terror! "Eevee eevee! EEVEE!"

[Maiden Miki]

Pausing for a moment, Mark blinkblinks a little as he looks between Francesca and Mike, before looking back at Mike. "Heh...really? How so? Even Sam and I aren't really a lot of like...or at least we weren't a lot like...and that fight...yeah...that was a bit before last Christmas, right? If so, that's when it really all began."

Looking back at Francesca, Mark just rubs the back of his head and sighs. "Alright...well, the Sam I knew was male, and was my cousin. Although, honestly, since I graduated from high school, I hadn't really seen much of him...we were about the same age, too, and, yeah...there's just no telling how much he has changed since then."

"Well you disappear and soon Sam appear. So I just always guess that something happen that made you into Sam," said Mike as he laughed a little nervously. "I mean I didn't really know you that well before our fight so that was what I pieced together."

"So Sam was male.....Interesting," said Francesca as she nods and wrote down her notes. "Though that is good to know as well."

"Differences? How so?" Konoko asked, raising an eyebrow. She then listened to the conversation and hummed. "The Sam that we know was previously male at some point, right Francesca, Mike?"

"Yeah, it's me." He said, giving a nod as he scratched his head. "What are you doing out here? Gone for a walk or something?"

Mike and Francesca just stared at Konoko with blank expressions. They looked at each other then back at Konoko.

"Umm....I kind of have had no idea to tell the truth," laughed Mike in a very nervous tone.

"Well of course I knew but I have always been use to my Sam being female is all...." said Francesca as she looked way. "She never appear on my radar."

[Marky]

Looking back at Konoko, Mark nods. "Yeah. He was a cousin of mine. Although we kind of had our differences..."


Sam blinkblinks a little and looks over at Ashley. "Ashley~? Is that you~?"

"Differences? How so?" Konoko asked, raising an eyebrow. She then listened to the conversation and hummed. "The Sam that we know was previously male at some point, right Francesca, Mike?"

"Yeah, it's me." He said, giving a nod as he scratched his head. "What are you doing out here? Gone for a walk or something?"

"Well, my first sort-of fight was with him. We didn't really see eye-to-eye on much of anything when we were younger. I think it's because I was smarter than him and most of the rest in my class, and...yeah...long story." Mark says, sighing a little.

Pausing for a moment, Sam slowly shakes her head. "Um...well, I was...um...kidnapped..." She says, frowning, a quite serious look on her face.

Shay screams in rage and pillars of fire appear around him, absorbing and burning all of the oxygen in the immediat area.

The Eevee blinks and eeps in terror! "Eevee eevee! EEVEE!"

The pillars of fire might do a little damage, but, if they did, no reaction is made as suddenly, the skies begin to darken, thunder beginning to rumble in the distance.

The Eevee may soon notice that it is quickly suspended in air as the orange energy continues to seep into it, trying to get to the Eevee's mind so that Mary will soon be able to control it.

"Well you disappear and soon Sam appear. So I just always guess that something happen that made you into Sam," said Mike as he laughed a little nervously. "I mean I didn't really know you that well before our fight so that was what I pieced together."

"So Sam was male.....Interesting," said Francesca as she nods and wrote down her notes. "Though that is good to know as well."

"Ah...well, chalk it up to just poor timing of fate, then? That's the only thing I can say, as fate brought me here...it's probably what brought Sam here, too." Mark says to Mike, before looking over to Francesca. "Yeah, he's male, about my age, and I'm 21 right now."

[Shy Shay]

Shay, as the completely irrational beast that he currently is, rushes forward to the rumbling sound, searching for something to take out his frustration on.

"E-eevee eevee..." Seeing as the Eevee is only lv. 1, it's special defense is pathetic, and is quickly overtaken.

[Maiden Miki]

"Differences? How so?" Konoko asked, raising an eyebrow. She then listened to the conversation and hummed. "The Sam that we know was previously male at some point, right Francesca, Mike?"

"Yeah, it's me." He said, giving a nod as he scratched his head. "What are you doing out here? Gone for a walk or something?"

"And now it seems like Mary has something that involves you and Sam seeing that she wants both of yous," said Mike as he looked at Mark.

"Silly coincidences do happen." Konoko muttered, thinking about it. "Ah well, first thing's first, though. We need to get Sam back."


Ashley frowned for a moment. "Kidnapped, huh? That's not good." He scratches the back of his head. "Well, I suppose I could help you out a little. Where you trying to get to?"
